O’Rourke, exist in a greater universe of rampant, unapologetic liberal activism; P.J. is the red-headed stepchild at Rolling Stone, which lately is to the left of Mother Jones; Kennedy is The One Who Admitted She Is Not a Liberal at MTV (but nonetheless once upstaged Bob Dole by suggestively licking a microphone).
When the rubber hits the road, I won’t be shocked if she drifts to the center — she strikes me as one of those people who doesn’t want to be “that kind of Republican.”
