On a lighter note — The Supervisors Were Promoted …

… after Christmas Card sent in 1914 is finally delivered 97 93 years late (that’ll teach me to add in my head).

It was cited as an indication of their dogged determination to see that all the mail get delivered.

  1. “It’s a mystery where it spent most of the last century, Oberlin Postmaster Steve Schultz said. It’s surprising that it never got thrown away,” he said. “How someone found it, I don’t know.”

    Translation: We have no idea where things are but if we find them and they are late, we throw them away.

    That’s what I call Government Quality Control.
