New Hot Air Post: L.A. Times Gives Hillary a Big, Sloppy, Wet Kiss

I have said for years that Hillary is our next president. And people have always said the same thing: “Not with those negatives!”

But these people weren’t counting on the cooperation of the news media in helping Hillary out. Cooperation like we see in this morning’s puff piece on Hillary in the L.A. Times.

I have a new post about it at Hot Air, here.

  1. You’re right, of course.

At the same time, check out the LAT headline… Hillary did open up a 33-point lead over her nearest rival according to a recent poll. I heard Sean Hannity, well known Hillary booster, say that on Fox News website a few minutes ago.

So perhaps the headline at least is not only defensible, but true.

Frankly, I want the Republican nominee to win, but if a Democrat has to I am thanking my lucky stars it is not Barack Obama, super-foot-in-mouth moron.

  2. “Taking nothing for granted, the Clinton campaign has aggressively targeted women…. potential supporters…deals with such issues as breast cancer, equal pay for equal work and other topics of interest to female voters.”

This illustrates yet another reason Hillary will not get my vote – her selective and opportunistic sexism if very off-putting and it inevitably manifests itself in a condescending determination of what is of ‘interest to female voters’. While I am concerned about breast cancer, so is my husband. And aren’t both parents equally concerned about child care and exactly who it is they’ve entrusted their children to?

As a woman I would like to know why her list does not include the war in Iraq, Iran’s nuclear proliferation, national/border security, Israel and Palestine’s ‘peace’ talks and let’s throw in health insurance for good measure because really, women are more than capable of thinking seriously about these important issues facing all Americans.

  3. Could you please post your preexisting biases against the LA Times? Regardless of what you say is true, I think it a bit dishonest and shady of you to omit that history. Someone who comes to your post via Google or a link would be totally unaware of your previous history on this subject and might assume you just a neutral observer. In fact, I KNOW that was your main reason for omitting the history.

The substance of your post sounds all well and interesting, though I can’t be bothered to otherwise discuss it. Actually, now that I think of it, I could probably refute most of the points you make. Maybe someday I’ll make a post doing it, maybe I won’t. Posting a pedantic screed seems a bit more important to me at the moment.

  4. One of the most demonized politicians in America has begun to win a second look from skeptics.

Right. Poor Hillary. The boys are pulling her hair.

Hillary has never faced and will never be subject to the vicious beatings that Bush, Cheney, Gingrich and other Republican face from Hillary’s MSM pals.

  5. Rightwingers! I’m here to offer you what you know you really want, a great excuse to return to the America we all know and love. It’s the America that doesn’t torture, doesn’t treat Iraqis or any other foreigners as expendable, doesn’t disregard our Constitution, doesn’t divide us all into hate camps and doesn’t ruin America’s image in the world. Remember THAT America? You loved it and so do I. It’s an America worth resurrecting. All you have to do is LET GO of the lies they’ve been telling us, OPEN YOUR HEART to the good America stands for, allow COMPASSION to color your attitude for EVERYBODY, and understand that we all want a peaceful, fair, honest and yes, loving world. IT’S EASY to just take a little better care of each other, each day. You can decide for yourself today that it’s going to be a GOOD DAY and you’ll be kind to all people, and let that carry you. Let’s turn away from ignorance and make our own happiness. It’s FREE AND AVAILABLE to anyone, anytime! It doesn’t even require religion. It’s truly what we all want, so I’m inviting you to abandon the past and start anew in a way that will help you and eveyone else have a wonderful life. No fees, no dues, no cover charge, no reservations, walk-ins welcome!

    I disagree.

Every day Hillary reminds me that I would rather have Paris Hilton as POTUS than have another 8 years of the Clinton-Corleone mob.

  13. I have a prediction: I am 100% certain that Patterico will make a post about a puff piece for Hillary Clinton.

According to Patterico’s Guide for Predicting the Future, I am now Nostradamus-In-Chief.

I am also 100% certain that DRJ will make a post asking me to look at the logo on the top of the page.

    Woohoo! I AM ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!

Aw, look who just flew in from Neptune. Nice to meet you, trespassinthru. Judging from your post, you’ve just offered us an Osama-style “Come to Islam” deal.

Thanks, but no thanks, buddy. I, for one, am already full up on crazy and won’t be buying any more.

  15. Dude,

I’ve never asked anyone on the internet this question before but: “How old are you?”

    DRJ (d0ada6)

  16. DRJ, why do you have to ask? It’s obvious he’s 12.
