I have always believed Yosemite to be the most beautiful place on earth. Your pics are causing me to rethink.
But Yosemite is still closer and more accessible!
What a great experience for you. Thanks for the great photos!
ManlyDad (d62cf6) — 9/26/2007 @ 6:23 amI happened to be in Lauterbrunnen this summer also, although I was staying in Grindelwald nearby. All of our group was madly snapping pictures just like yours until we realized that in Switzerland, every valley is as beautiful as this one. An amazing place!
Jay (8894aa) — 9/26/2007 @ 10:52 amP.S. I hope you got a chance to take the hike from Mannlichen to Kleine-Scheidegg
I recall Dennis Prager saying once it is more important to aquire memories than stuff. In other words drive an old clunker car if need be and spend the money on travel. I’m convinced he was right and seeing these pictures makes me realize I’ve got to stop waiting and hoping and get out and see the world.

Patterico (2a8eaa) — 9/26/2007 @ 4:55 pmI’ve got a similar picture. You must have been on the steps up Trummelbach Falls.
What a place!
