Another Victim
Remember that immigrant whose child rape charges were dismissed for lack of a translator in an obscure West African language? It turns out that his alleged victims included, not just a seven-year-old girl, but also a one and one-half year-old girl.
I said 3 days ago it was not fair. I still think so.
Rodney A Stanton (cc0200) — 7/24/2007 @ 5:46 pmI hope the Judge and defense attorneys are proud of themselves.
JD (26b504) — 7/24/2007 @ 6:03 pmI hope to GOD you can re-file charges against him. Nail him to the wall!
Scott Jacobs (a1de9d) — 7/24/2007 @ 7:32 pmI am horrified and sickened by this news. In situations as this, I am not convinced I would even bat an eye if someone like this received the death penalty. Why I might even wish the charges allowed for such a consequence.
Dana (7384b7) — 7/24/2007 @ 7:49 pmOh no…
Raping a 1 1/2 year old?
I’m pretty sure that whatever time he’d end up with in prison would be worse than any death he could ever suffer…
Scott Jacobs (a1de9d) — 7/24/2007 @ 8:12 pmMaybe this guy is related to someone important and there are diplomatic/foreign relations concerns involved in this matter. That’s the only thing I can think of that begins to explain this thing.
j curtis (ecc9cc) — 7/24/2007 @ 8:14 pmI wonder how this would be handled in Singapore?
Another Drew (8018ee) — 7/24/2007 @ 8:37 pmAnd his mother has also had sexual abuse charges against her pending. This is incredible–were they deaf, dumb and blind as to this criminal organization?
Patricia (824fa1) — 7/24/2007 @ 8:42 pmHis father, also in the USA, has been accused of abusing the same children. Via chain immigration, the entire clan/tribe can come to the USA to abuse/rape young girls – Celebrate diversity and multiculturalism!
Perfect Sense (b6ec8c) — 7/24/2007 @ 9:07 pmDo they elect judges back there?
Circuit Court Judge Katherine D. Savage
Oh, wait, they don’t really.
Perhaps that 15-year term with no election is part of the problem? Yes, appellate justices should have long terms, but you’re supposed to have a clue about them before they get in. Here, you almost never do, and there are so many of them…..
Kevin Murphy (0b2493) — 7/24/2007 @ 11:00 pm#9, unbelievable. Well, sadly, quite believable.
Maybe this will be what breaks the back of support for open borders.

Scott Jacobs (90eabe) — 7/25/2007 @ 8:16 amOh, I believe that he should have been released — into the custody of the parents of his victims.
Dana (3e4784) — 7/25/2007 @ 8:19 am#7 – With about 15% tips…
Scott, that makes absolutely no sense. For your edification, Singapore is infamous for the offenses that are punished by caning. In this case, I wouldn’t be surprised if he would have got the death penalty (which is actually carried out there – the ACLU objected once, so they threatened to hang them).
Another Drew (8018ee) — 7/25/2007 @ 8:04 pmFrankly i hope the judge and defense lawyer get locked up for the rest of their lives and fed on bread and water
