Where’s the Closure?!?!

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 6:34 am

This schlub wants people to sign a petition asking David Chase to tell viewers whether Tony Soprano is dead.

I like this comment:

While you’re at it, Mo, can you organize a petition to Quentin Tarantino? We have a right to know what was in Marcellus Wallace’s briefcase in Pulp Fiction. Thanks.

Thank goodness the show’s ending wasn’t at the mercy of focus groups.

  1. Congress should have Chase testify under oath what happened. Congress gets involved with game shows and baseball. This is at least as important.

  2. like schrodinger’s cat, tony soprano’s wave function features a superposition of states; he’s dead and alive at the same time until someone observes him and collapses the superposition into one state or the other. you go to new jersey and take a look and post back to us.

  3. It’s very simple. Tony, like Schrödinger’s cat, is half dead and half alive. Can’t we just leave him that way?

  5. Forget all that. We still don’t know who it was who was responsible for putting the bomp in the bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp after all these years, and this guy’s worried about a TV show from 2 weeks ago?

  6. I’d get behind the second one. But I’m pretty sure it’s ‘absolutely nothing! It was acting!’

  7. The answer to the Pulp Fiction question:

Marcellus’ Soul. He made a deal with the devil who pulled his soul from the back of his neck-hence the bandaid.

It seems someone into the occult knew the lore of making a deal with the devil and pointed out how it fit. I’d like to know how he got his soul back.
