Bob Clark – The Final Interview

I opened up this week’s L.A. Weekly tonight and got a chill down my spine. Unbeknownst to me, this week’s edition features the final interview with director Bob Clark who (along with his son) was killed last week by an (illegal alien) drunk driver.

The interview was conducted just 4 days before his death and was actually being put to press right around the time of his fatal accident. (The LA Weekly website has put up an extra page concerning Clark’s death that is not found in this week’s printed edition.)

The person speaking with Clark in the interview? None other than director Quentin Tarantino – who sings Clark’s praises. (I completely forgot that Clark had directed the kick-ass B-flick Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things.)

Given Taratino’s own praise for him, this interview clearly would have kicked Clark’s career back up into high gear had he lived.

What a waste…

  1. Didn’t you support Arnold, who supports “regularization” for illegals, many of whom have a propensity for driving drunk?

  2. You have a troll, que cute. The entire point is, as you say Patterico, when you didn’t invite the crashers, you couldn’t care less what their other problems are or at what “rate” they have them. You just want them OUT. I whole-heartedly agree. And to just think of all the processing and paperwork and issues that would immediately go away with them, I almost weep with sheer relief. Please, let’s get started already.

  3. Oh, hey, Petit Whatever:

Who are you accusing of supporting Arnold? Justin, who wrote this post?

Because it sure as hell wasn’t me.

  4. I’m taking a stand against the purported leadership (as well as their affiliates) of the BFL (Justine…or is it Justin? I cannot make that distinction from here), who personally declared themselves “Moderate” and Arnold supporters to me, much to the detriment of the People of the Great State of California. You prominently link these artists of barratry, so I have little doubt they post here.

When Mayday comes and the boycotts and ensuing anarchy come about, I certainly hope for the sake of your children and their future that you take a stand against the invasion, occupation and colonization by the mexicans. Oh wait, I forgot! You’ve already been colonized, so it’s time to admit it.

Every single mexican business will be closed on May 1st, and most of the CRP fed us bullshit about Arnold being an American–not once, but twice. Where were you?

Where is the National Guard like Reagan utilized during his own leftist uprising in 1969? The mexicans (who have no legal right to be here) will march with impunity, and you have nothing to say.

Lying is how the party chooses its leadership, and you are their messenger as long as you represent yourself as a conservative republican and surround yourself with the BFL.

I fail to see what the moderate republicans (e.g. Arnold supporters) have achieved in the past five years–other than making California’s bond rating better than Thailand. The invasion continues unabated. You link to the BFL, so you are culpable and fair game, counselor.

  5. Also, analyzing kangaroo court transcripts of Ramos and Compean does not alleviate the pressure to prosecute when D.F. called Bush and demanded they be prosecuted. I like DRJ’s style, but the irrelevant puff testimony analysis cannot refute the fact that those two were only prosecuted at the request of a foreign government. If you think it’s easy to maintain consistent testimony under cross-examination, let’s put you on trial.

I question your judgment as a prosecutor when you ignore the political and propaganda push by the mexican goverment to convict these two (and Gilmer Hernandez). The government has already admitted to lying to the court to get their conviction.

Arnold wants to give these people licenses as they crash head-on into our brightest people and kill them. I don’t see anyone doing enough other than banging keystrokes here.

  6. PB,

You know what would sound a lot less unreasonable than your comment number 4? A lot of things, actually, but “Sorry, thought you supported Arnold. My mistake” would be a good start.
