See Dubya Blogging at Hot Air
Things are slow here at Chez Patterico as I mingle with family members (some of whom have no Internet access!), and slowwwwly try to work up a Dog Trainer Year in Review post . . . on a Treo.
(Yeah, it’s slow going. It may not appear on December 31st this year. Fair warning.)
In the meantime, keep reading my favorite blog Hot Air, where my pal See Dubya is getting some deserved exposure as a guest poster.
Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to become cannon fodder.
David Ehrenstein (f45bb3) — 12/26/2006 @ 1:54 pmDavid, you’re repeating yourself. When China does it, we call it intellectual piracy. As I pointed out at Cathy’s World, this is not news. Non-citizens have been able to earn citizenship early for decades by enlisting. You have to be a citizen to be an officer.
Mike K (6d4fc3) — 12/26/2006 @ 3:43 pmCathy and Patterico aren’t joined at the hip, Mike.
And what non-citizens have been able to do “for decades” has nothing to do with it. Dubbya needs cannon fodder and it would appear he’s not at all picky as to where he gets it.
Hey — this is a neat solution to the “illeal alien” problem, no? Give that Beaner a gun and send him to Iraq!
