Liveblogging from the Toad the Wet Sprocket Concert
In keeping with my penchant for live-blogging rock concerts, I should mention that I’m here front-row center at the Toad the Wet Sprocket concert in Santa Ana. Mrs. P. and I are hard-core concertgoers, generally arriving well before the door opens to secure the best place to stand. We’ll be on our feet for the next several hours, but having a good seat for the reunion of this amazing band is worth it.
Then it’s home to sleep for a couple of hours before my daughter and I jet off to Atlanta to meet my new nephew John Michael.
Posting will be lighter for a couple of weeks.
UPDATE: The concert was excellent. You can still catch them in L.A. on Monday.
This the concert you mentioned when we discussed Phillips before? You’re welcome. 😉 Enjoy the big egotist … Chris Thile comes here next week, but he’s more “hosting” events at a bluegrassish fest than he is playing, so don’t know if I’ll wade through the crowd to try to see him.
