The companion piece to the Cosgrove call: the director of the “Loose Change” 9/11 conspiracy video chuckling over Flight 93.

  1. This is so sad on so many levels. The smugness of the film-maker nearly made me barf. I’ve watched with interest as the left has devolved further into madeness. It’s a shame that in some circles this is considered legitimate debate. Sheesh.

  2. People like Avery are one of the reasons I hate living in New York. If the good folks in Oneonta weren’t spinally challenged, they’d have run Avery and his family out of town by now.

The fact that muslims can openly extol the virtues of their terrorist heroes on the streets of NYC – which happened just last month – is proof that far too many New Yorkers are bona fide cowards.

  3. The trend to dismiss any serious discussion of this world war we find ourselves in marks the left as monumentally unserious. Maybe if they watch this they will get the idea.

  4. The disgusting thing, Mike, is to read some of the first several comments under the YouTube video.

As a great man once said, “Evil is real and must be opposed.”

  5. Victor Davis Hanson of National Review Online has a great article out called “The Brink of Madness” about the parallels between today and 1938.

It’s chilling, accurate, and worth reading. Here it is.

  6. As a fireman who lost 343 of his brothers almost 5 years ago, I am so disgusted by what is happening to this country in the last 2-3 years I can’t even describe it. Especially all the lame arguments about how it wasn’t hot enough to melt the steel. The steel gussets that hold the rafters together in your house fail with only 5 minutes of direct flame impingement. The steel didn’t “melt”, it warped, twisted and sagged until the weight of the concretes and steel above the fire florrs collapsed onto them. The resulting shock and weight continued the pancaking until the final results.

As for the big conspiricy that the government…and more importantly George Bush had, this is the best. You have to ask the Liberals to get their stories straight. They have spent the last 6 years going on about what an idiot Bush is, and he’s a chimp, a moron, couldn’t tie his own shoes…yet he masterminded the biggest conspiricy and cover-up to mass murder in the history of the planet? Oh please.

This is the Left-wIng of the country folks. These are the ones that want to re-gain power in November, and win the Presidency in 2008. I only hope everyone remembers this come November and votes accordingly…as well as vote in record number. Only then will we keep from handing this country over, lock, stock and barrel to the very people that want us annihilated.

  7. The question in November is not whether this is 1938 but whether we are France or Britain. I’ve read a lot of Chuchill’s writing and biographies of him. The Manchester books are outstanding. It’s a shame that he didn’t live long enough to finish the third volume but we have Churchill’s memoirs for that period. Another excellent book is Five Days in May, 1940 by John Lukacs. He is an esteemed historian and this is probably the most important book about the first year of the Second World War I’ve read. It is about the first five days after Churchill became Prime MInister.

He was not popular with Conservatives and most preferred Halifax as PM. Halifax was a defeatest and this was the closest the British came to surrender. Churchill does not discuss this period in his History and the Halifax family have “filleted” those pages from Lord Halifax’s diary. Lukacs has reconstructed what happened from accounts of others and it is riveting, especially in light of what is going on in the Democratic Party.

Bush is no Churchill but the Democrats are full of Halifaxes. Churchill got most of his support from the common people in 1940. The elites in Britain actually preferred Hitler and were dismissive of things like patriotism and national pride. They feared Communism and that was enough to make them prefer Fascism. The vulnerability of Churchill as he took on the Germans is not something found in most histories. You have to look to see the parallels with today.

  8. Gold is currently trading at $644 an ounce, which works out to $20.6 million per ton. $160 BILLION worth of gold (the amount the “Loose Change” creator claims was buried under the WTC) would therefore weigh 7,767 TONS. And that’s the 2006 price of gold. Gold was a lot cheaper in ’01, thus the weight of $160 billion worth was a lot higher. Does the tiny little detail of how these conspirators transported well over 7,00 TONS of gold in the wake of the WTC cleanup even addressed?

  9. You could transport that much gold easily with the heavy trucks and equipment they had on site. What you couldn’t, do, however is transport that much gold without the thousands of decent good people working to clean up the World Trade Center at long term risk to their health’s noticing.

The Lose Change guy is nuts… I hope. Otherwise, he’s evil as sin.
