I’m doing a weekend roundup today, in part because I may have chased some of you off by telling you on Saturday that blogging was to be light this weekend. As it turned out, that was inaccurate, and I had quite a few posts after that:

• Michael Hiltzik is back at the L.A. Times, in his rumored post as a sports investigations writer.

• Do we have a new Internet sock puppet journalist? I have some interesting links regarding Mr. Jason “Karl Rove is about to be indicted” Leopold.

• The L.A. Times describes an anti-immigration reform activist as someone who is “ambivalent” about immigration reform. Will they correct it? We’ll follow up.

• Wonkette pokes racial fun at Michelle Malkin.

• The Saudis say they’ve removed all disparaging references to people of different religions. All true: except the part about Christians being swine and Jews being devil-worshipping apes.

• Democrats have hit a stumbling block in their campaign to portray corruption as a purely Republican problem.
