Zombietime Covers the Peaceniks

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 7:02 am

Zombietime has another incisive and photo-filled post covering San Francisco peace rallies. Good stuff. (Via Ace.)

P.S. Zombietime is like what INDC Journal used to be, before Bill Ardolino got bored with blogging and started writing posts (like this one) that say: “I’ve got nothing.” (Yes, I’m pimping him for a reaction.)

  1. Didn’t the guys that are into scrotum inflating show up?

  2. Oh boy, pictures of whackos. This really elevates the debate. I know I carry my Karl Marx books with me everywhere I go and a huge placard that says that Bush is the anti-Christ.

Where’s a few pictures of Karmicommunist with a few shrunken heads in the background? And where are all of the swastika loving skinhead photos?

    What a cheap shot.

  3. Hey, Psy, lighten up my friend. It’s all in good fun. Really.

  4. One more note, Psy. Take a look at the second picture with the sign. Nothing I haven’t read posted by blu on this very site. Wouldn’t you agree?

Nothing new. Same crowd I saw when I went to Viet Nam in 1971, except some of them have grey hair now.

  5. I wouldn’t worry much about this kind of thing Harry, except I believe that this tactic does have a political effect on people unfortunately. On a certain level, most people looking at them say to themselves, “Oh, so these people are what democrats look like.”

  6. When Democrats embrace them (see, e.g., Cindy Sheehan), why aren’t people supposed to think that?

It would be like if, when California was considering Proposition 209, the pro-209 forces, instead of telling them to shut up and get out of our state, embraced David Duke and the KKK’s advocacy of the position.

When one group takes the “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” position, as the Democrats do appear to do on this issue, it shouldn’t then surprise them to be grouped with said friends.

I couldn’t agree more, whether that thought process is logic-based or not. The democrat party does itself no good either, when it ignores the Liebermans and seats Michael Moore next to Jimmy Carter at its convention.

Add that to Carter’s overseas and editorial comments, Gore’s overseas speeches, Feingold’s “censor or impeach Bush”, Reid, Pelosi, and the current scizophrenia (sp) regarding the NSA monitoring program, and one has to wonder who it is that rational people should conclude represents democrats?
