Laura Ingraham was just interviewing a staff sergeant in Iraq and asked him if he ever gets scared.
“Absolutely,” he said, calmly but without hesitation.
“What do you do when you get scared?” she asked.
“Can I say what I really do?” he asked.
“Yes.”
“I pray,” he said.
I wonder why he felt the need to ask permission to say that.
