Happy Thanksgiving
Remember: every day should be a day to give thanks for what you have.
On Thanksgiving, you can give special thanks for the fact that you aren’t a turkey. Because that would suck.

Yes, I do give thanks, every day, that I am not a liberal Democrat.
Dana R. Pico (a071ac) — 11/24/2005 @ 6:10 pmWhen Dems celebrate Thanksgiving, who’s getting thanked?
Black Jack (ee9fe2) — 11/25/2005 @ 8:01 amWhy, Jack, I thought you already knew: the government, of course, and they wish to expand it so that they may thank it even more.

My grandfather said you could always tell a Democrat: Put your hand in your pocket, and if someone else already has his hand in there, it’s a Democrat.
Black Jack (ee9fe2) — 11/25/2005 @ 3:30 pmI’m married, with children, Jack, so my pockets are already empty.
Dana R. Pico (3e4784) — 11/26/2005 @ 4:37 amA belated Thanksgiving comment — besides not being turkeys, we have so much to be thankful for! 🙂 On our minds and in our prayers lately are friends we have who are deployed in Iraq. Our family found a way to show our appreciation to these men and others currently serving overseas and away from their family and friends: We spent part of the Thanksgiving weekend helping out with Operation Gratitude‘s efforts to send holiday care packages to servicemen and women. It was a great experience for all of us and we want to help again soon. I hope more LA-area folks will get involved with this all-volunteer, non-profit, Encino-based organization: http://www.opgratitude.com
