Yikes
That whole “Playful Primate” thing has stuck for a while, but tonight I was surprised to see myself at #50 in the Ecosystem. Low-eeze, that seems high. I’m getting a nosebleed.
Won’t last.

If John Paul Stevens retires shortly after Alito is confirmed, you might hang in there . . .
Crank (5f5694) — 11/2/2005 @ 7:45 amFrom what I’ve read here so far, it’s well-deserved. Congrats!
reverse_vampyr (69ba00) — 11/2/2005 @ 10:46 amI checked the TTLB site, and it seems that the Harriet Miers nomination has been good to you! The graph indicates that you have tripled your average daily visits since October 4th, and the hogh-volume debates on your site have to have been one of the major reasons.
But, you’ve dropped — you’re down to 53rd place. Given that I’m in 3631st place, that’s still pretty impressive to me.
Dana R. Pico (8d0335) — 11/2/2005 @ 6:08 pmThe traffic spike is short-lived. When Alito’s nomination was announced, Lucianne Goldberg and Instapundit linked my analysis of the Casey dissent, and Real Clear Politics and some other sites followed. That day was good for about 16,000 visits, which pulled up the daily average significantly. When that day is no longer included in the average, you’ll see it go way down.
