No Thanks . . . Our Cats Use the Litterbox

Filed under: Dog Trainer — Patterico @ 3:07 pm

Apropos my post about the declining circulation of newspapers:

Some guy just knocked on my door offering a free sample of the L.A. Times.

At least he didn’t just dump it on my doorstep. I don’t think he did, anyway.

  4. hmmm..I have a canary.I might find a use for that paper yet.Perhaps you should picket the paper on account of the thousands of trees killed each year
that go into making it.I wonder if they would cover the story?Odd how many E.L.F. types burn hummers..
maybe you can try to get them to clear the air of the L.A.Times crap.

  5. If you stepped in it and it got all over your shoe and it smelled bad, it was the INCREDIBLE SHRINKING LOS ANGELES TIMES.

  6. Our local rag, The Houston Chronicle, has tried to give their paper away at supermarkets.
I should add, to no avail.
Another trick they pull is to deliver an unsoliceted paper to your address, which also seems to be a circulation “booster.”
Their circulation is down, and I am certain they recoil at their paper’s nickname.
