Protestors rally in support of Oakland cop-killer

Filed under: Uncategorized — aunursa @ 4:51 am

In response to the shooting death of an unarmed civilian by a BART police officer on New Year’s Day, some 400 protestors in Oakland expressed their rage in a rally that turned violent.  Police reported at least 15 arrests following acts of arson, vandalism, and other violence.

Move forward 2 1/2 months.  Last Sunday a fugitive parolee killed two Oakland police officers who had pulled him over for a traffic citation, then shot to death two more cops while hiding in a nearby apartment before he was shot and killed by a SWAT team.

Many have wondered when those who were so furious at the BART police shooting would rally in response to this incident.  It seemed that the protestors had no sympathy when the victims belonged to law enforcement.

Well you can stop wondering.  About 60 people marched and rallied in Oakland yesterday — to support cop-killer Lovelle Mixon and condemn the Oakland police!  The San Francisco Chronicle reports that many protestors wore t-shirts with Mixon’s photo and chanted, “OPD, you can’t hide – we charge you with genocide!” Mixon’s cousin declared, “He needs sympathy too.  If he’s a criminal, everybody’s a criminal.”  Bear in mind that Mixon was suspected of committing several rapes, including one involving a 12 year-old girl.

Sure, if you are all the same as a guy that opens fire on cop performing a traffic stop, and if you rape 12 year olds…

    Me? Not a criminal…

  2. Any comment I would leave regarding the Oakland “protesters” mentioned above would be rude, crude and socially unacceptable.

  3. Ditto #2. I just have to wonder what the 12 year old thought about Mixon. Or her parents. Despicable is too nice a word.

  4. This is a character test for Obama. If he flunks or tries to duck it, he should be removed from office.

Look to my blog for the post.

Also Fmfnavydoc has linked a post from the Sandbox. Please take a look.

  5. The police should no longer respond to 911 calls in that area. Might make them realize how much they need the police. We all know this would never happen though. Wonder how the protesters would have felt if an innocent bystander had been killed.
