The Kevlar President

Reagan was the Teflon President, where all attacks just slid off.  Is Obama the Kevlar President, where all attacks just hit his solid MSM armor and rebound?  Just a thought.

  2. Good one! His supporters certainly want him to be bulletproof, and like all Presidents he will be until something goes wrong that he can’t blame on anyone else. Obama is very good at PR and he’s selected experienced politicians to work for him. He also knows how to throw people under the bus, so he’ll avoid criticism for awhile.

FWIW I have a feeling Panetta is in at CIA to help Obama find a PC way to keep most of the Bush anti-terror policies without alienating liberals. We’ll hear more about pragmatism and trusting Obama’s moral judgment when it comes to fighting the war on terror, or Obama will opt for the Clinton-initiated rendition program, or both.

  3. When I heard about Panetta at CIA, I immediately thought that Bush had missed a good posting for Karl Rove. Or Roger Ailes.
