  1. The starting message…

    Welcome to the Constitutional Vanguard!

…sent on Mon, May 9, 2016 at 9:06 AM Pacific Daylight Time, is not archived here (yet)

I think being put into Promotions by GMail is only a problem for someone subscribing to this mailing list at a GMail address, or having the e-mail forwarded to a GMail address. (which is one way to get rid of spam)

This should only be a problem for a few people (and it’s also possible for them to fix it.) The e-mails can be found in any case by searching GMail for patterico. (I see that you used the same user name of Patterico but not the same domain name you usually do.)

  2. Sammy,

The link above is to that email. So yes, it is archived here. It’s the link in the page above.

  3. Respected Constitutional Vanguard host – might it be possible to have your IT-pixie work his or her magic to have the links above open a new window or tab rather than replacing the current one, please ?

This technique tends to make for a more browsing-friendly archive …

Just press down the Shift key when you click on a link.

I could do that. But I always found links constructed that way to be irritating. It seemed like a trick of sorts. If enough people agree with you, I can make the change. (I could even do the same on the blog. But I tend to believe in the concept of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” You never saw someone as mad about New Coke as I was!)
