Patterico’s Pontifications

Hmmmmmmmmmm

So Nick Berg gave his e-mail address and password to a random guy on a bus, who later gave it to Zacarias Moussaoui. (This according to CNN — although I first saw the story on Wizbang.)

Then a couple years later, he is executed by Al Qaeda terrorists.

Coincidence?

(CNN link via the Commissar.)

UPDATE: I just saw on Special Report with Brit Hume that Berg (a Jew) was apparently carrying anti-Semitic materials with him when he was detained. The plot thickens.

  1. I keep muttering about this. Japanese hostages billed because they were antiwar. Outrage over Berg, who looks to be not much different. It’s a weird thread I’m following through this tapesty and I can’t quite get to the conclusion. Today’s theory is that we have to protect everyone from the terrorists even the antiwar types. Glad to know that Bish will continue to keep Michael Berg safe despite Michael blaming Bush for his son’s death.

  2. Re: the update.

I believe the proper response is in this well known internet acronym: OMFGWTF.

  3. Whole thing is just too damn creepy.

Too many coincidences that have as much chance randomly happening as my winning PowerBall.
