  1. Okay. That’s funny. Don’t care who you r.

  2. Moochelle doesn’t look very happy about the fact that a legal immigrant is taking her job. Why isn’t she smiling?
She must be a xenophobic racist.

  3. Probably put more effort into it and do it better too.

  5. Wait, isn’t admitting that anathema to people like you, Colonel?

  6. Takei had better watch out.

  7. Not at all, Leviticus. My wife is an American of Mexican heritage and our children have some of the same. People like you take advantage of immigrants, both legal and illegal. It’s your nature and your way of making a living.

    Colonel Haiku (2601c0)

  8. I have blood in the game. What do you have other than a mincing, saucy, insouciance?

    Colonel Haiku (2601c0)

  9. But she’s legal, dear. Or perhaps she’s saying only a minority or an immigrant, legal or illegal, would be so stupid as to accept a job loaded with bennies and bling but pays nothing?

The President-elect is from Queens. Where wise guys and their families know how to be properly compensated.

  10. Wait a minute, Colonel.

“….What do you have other than a mincing, saucy, insouciance?…”

    You shouldn’t insult Mr. Feet.

I bet some of your best friends are black too.

    Leviticus (467e24)

  13. @Leviticus:I bet some of your best friends are black too.

Would you say that to his wife about her opposition to illegal immigration?

Would you say that to my immigrant wife?

There are millions of legal immigrants in this country, who know exactly how expensive it is in time and money to comply with immigration law, who detest illegal immigration and its enablers.

You want to equate opposition to illegal immigration with racism, then you’re full SJW.

And I think you are too young to know what “some of my best friends are black” actually means. The racist speaker of that statement, on further questioning, turns out to have no black friends, only acquaintances that he does not socialize with.

  14. Trump’s first wife was an immigrant too. There are some jobs that Americans will not do.

  15. @nk:There are some jobs that Americans will not do.

You don’t intend to make a good point here, but you do. There’s not really any Americans who would refuse to be a model if they had the opportunity, but there’s a visa program for that anyway.

Likewise there has never been a “shortage” of STEM workers in my lifetime, yet we have a visa program for that anyway. A real shortage would have resulted in increased salaries, not decreased salaries and American STEM workers having to train their H-1B replacements.

    Gabriel Hanna (4f5ff1)

  16. My daughter’s mother was an O-1 visa, Gabriel. Before she was granted permanent residence by being certified by both Janet Reno and John Ashcroft as vital to the national interest of the United States. I do know a little bit about it.

    nk (dbc370)

  17. @nk:I do know a little bit about it.

    I never claimed you didn’t.

There is almost no one in this country actually opposed to legal immigration. It’s really all about numbers. I can never get anyone on the Right or Left, who supports open borders, to say how many in one year do they think would be too many. I’m afraid the answer is “no number would be too many”. And that’s simply not realistic.

    Gabriel Hanna (4f5ff1)

  18. But do keep that disingenuousness of yours on full throttle. With afterburner. The job Americans will not do is waking up next to Trump every morning.

    nk (dbc370)

  19. @nk:The job Americans will not do is waking up next to Trump every morning.

And I should care about that because… but since Melania Trump is a naturalized citizen, she is in fact an American.

Do you think that naturalized Americans should be treated as though still foreigners? Asking merely for information, it’s not an accusation.

    Gabriel Hanna (4f5ff1)

  20. Do you think that naturalized Americans should be treated as though still foreigners?

Damn it, you took my “advice” about your disingenuousness. What does that straw man of yours have to do with anything? Or is it a red herring? Non sequitor?

Do you think that early to bed and early to rise really makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise? Asking merely for information, it’s not an accusation.

  21. “I bet some of your best friends are black too.”

Yes, not best, but friends and colleagues. Friends are good. You should give it a shot.

  22. There are so many wonderfully useful investigations and stories that a competent and honest media MIGHT do if they were ever so inclined.

A place to start for some of them would be exploring the disconnects and lies in the sound bite narratives. And by that I mean looking at a few of the reasons for the reality that there apparently ARE some jobs that Americans CANT do, and contrasting that against the myth of “the jobs Americans WONT do”, and how that all plays into the larger public disconnects about legal and illegal “immigration”. There is a story to be written about the real unemployment rate –especially in many of the states that voted for Trump and within the black communities of large cities. Man, I bet there are some really interesting concepts and avenues to be explored there by anyone with the curiosity and courage and intellectual depth to do so. And, Over 43 million people in America on food stamps! Wow. How is this even possible? Thank goodness there is a SNAP program and we do not have people starving on the streets. But 43 million receiving SNAP assistance and many want us to keep blithely importing more entry level “workers” and asylum seekers from overseas and across our borders into an already terrible economy?

  23. The conflation of “immigrant” and “illegal alien” too. Which the SJWs are trying to enforce. And succeeding in the media, but hopefully only in the media.

  25. Greetings:

I was hoping that it would be that Michelle had found her law license. Or the reason why she had to find it.

  26. > People like you take advantage of immigrants, both legal and illegal. It’s your nature and your way of making a living.

Do you have any evidence that Leviticus’ way of making a living is taking advantage of immigrants?

*To me* that comes across as a personal attack with no basis in fact. Are there facts of which I am unaware?
