Oh, man, is this ever catnip for the working-class fans of Donald Trump. Pollster Sam Wang, PhD, the founder of the Princeton Election Consortium — an arrogant know-it-all Ivy-League Donald Trump hater — said before the election that if Donald Trump won over 240 electoral votes, he would eat a bug:

Today, the bill came due.

I think the best part is how smug the guy is, even in his own bug-eating segment. For example:

I think that the eating bugs thing is sensationalist, and it keeps us off of important policy issues, such as Supreme Court appointments. You know, Donald Trump had a great conversation with Obama, and he can make a grand gesture, like, say, “You know what? I’m representing all the people. I’m gonna show everyone who I am and what I’m made of, and I’m gonna name Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just eat the bug, professor.

  1. How do I know that was a real bug? Might have been a gummy bear shaped to resemble.

    We need Joe Rogan to oversee the festivities.

  12. I didn’t listen to the clip, but remain fascinated by the liberal scolding how the GOP winner should reach across the aisle, be the President of everyone, by governing from some point to the left of Obama.

    Trump has majorities right now for at least two years, and needs to use that while he’s got it.

  15. I’d like to see Trump move to defund sanctuary cities in 5-10% increments.
    Trump would have to get out in front of the left, because the left will defund the widows, orphans and schoolchildren first, but crushing the sanctuary city movement has to be done in order to restore the rule of law and secure the border.
    The defunding battlefield could be shaped by pushing illegals toward the sanctuary cities which would rapidly overwhelm social programs making even small funding cuts painful as hell.
