Hillary Clinton Emailed Classified Information To Chelsea Clinton And Then Tried To Cover Her Tracks

Filed under: General — Dana @ 5:44 pm

[guest post by Dana]

Remember when Hillary Clinton breezily told us this:

From one of the thousand of emails recovered by the FBI, we learn today that on at least one occasion, not only did Hillary Clinton send classified information to her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, but she also deleted the email in an effort to cover her tracks. One might reasonably assume that as a private citizen and non-government employee, Chelsea Clinton has never had a security clearance that would allow her to be privy to governmental classified emails:

The Dec. 20, 2009 email chain, entitled “Update,” started with a message from Michael Froman, who served as a deputy assistant to President Obama and deputy national security adviser for international economic affairs.

The email, which is redacted because it contains information classified as “Confidential,” was sent to Jake Sullivan, Clinton’s foreign policy adivser at the State Department, and several Obama aides. Sullivan sent it to Hillary Clinton who then forwarded it to Chelsea, who emailed under the pseudonym “Diane Reynolds.

All of the text in the body portion of the classified emails is redacted because it contains foreign government information.

The State Department labeled the email a “near dupilcate,” indicating that it was mostly similar to other emails that the agency has released from the trove of emails that Clinton turned over in Dec. 2014.

Clinton did not delete other responses she made to others on the email thread.

Hillary Clinton appears to have very little problem spilling the beans to her daughter via email. Remember that time she emailed Chelsea the truth about what happened that night in Benghazi, but lied to us?

There is absolutely no reason to believe that if Hillary Clinton is elected president, Chelsea Clinton, along with Bill Clinton, would not be privy to issues of national security. Three for the price of one!

  3. Was this Chelsea email “wiped with a cloth” from Hillary’s server and not given to the FBI in the first investigation?

  6. Exciting, though, isn’t it? Like an old radio show:

“How will Kent escape from the cannibals? Who is the mysterious little man with the blow-gun? Will Professor Lamphert discover the chemical which can unpetrify a human being? Listen tomorrow, same station, same hour.”

  8. It’s interesting, Dana. I honestly feel that this election is a put up job. Only against Trump could she have a shot. Because, truth be told, many decent people are so afraid of Trump that they will vote for this dishonest graft artist.

In my conversations with people, I make them answer the question: how would they feel if a Republican candidate did *precisely* the things HRC has done? I have them look me in the eye.

    And they look down.

No, I think that the media and the DNC have worked very hard on this particular equation. It’s made to stir up the Left so that no matter what HRC does, she’ll get votes.

    And then I heard this:

  11. The truth is that Clinton doesn’t care. She doesn’t respect the classification levels or the fact that they impose limits on her.

The best example is an email exchange between her and Podesta in 2013, where she was passing on information about some development with some issue in the Middle East, and she added some tidbit of information that was likely classified and known by her as a result of her time as SOS.

Podesta emailed back something to the effect of “that’s very interesting, but likely not a subject we should be discussing on an unsecure email”.

Podesta as a former Pres. Chief of Staff knew right away that what she was discussing was a no-no.

But Clinton simply doesn’t care. Its something she wanted to pass on, and no rules apply to her so she passed it on.

Rules are limits for others to follow.

  12. That she believes the rules don’t apply to her indicates that she has never had to face any consequences for rules she has broken. So how does a woman hit her late 60’s and not be impacted by the natural constraints of laws and consequences? I don’t think she, like her husband, is a master manipulator and charmer who was able to snake his way through any snare with ease. And she didn’t have a lot of power for a long time. Just her diabolical lies that got her what she wanted? A ruthlessness that her husband didn’t have? It’s puzzling.

  15. They also found emails about Bill and Hillary Clinton’s multiple visits to Jeffrey Epstein’s “Sex Island”. Also some speculation that both Weiner and his estranged wife are cooperating with the government. At this point, nothing would surprise me.

  27. New concrete example out tonight about Clinton disregarding rules.

In 2009 she signed an agreement before being named Sec. of State wherein she pledged than any donation by a foreign government to the Clinton Foundation would be submitted to the State Dept. for review prior to the money being accepted.

In 2011, Qatar wanted to give the Foundation a $1 million donation in honor of Bill Clinton’s 65th birthday, and requested a meeting with him.

It was only today that the Foundation acknowledged that it had received the money. The State Dept has no record of the donation ever having been submitted for review as she pledged in the agreement.

As recently as a month ago the Foundation refused to confirm that it had received the donation — the issue of whether it had been made was revealed in a Podesta email dumped by Wikileaks.

The Foundation is still refusing to address whether Bill Clinton met with the Emir or not as requested. They also refused to confirm or deny other donations from Qatar to the Foundation.

It was in that same time frame that Qatar and Russia were involved in millions of dollars worth of bribes to various officials in soccer federations around the world to have the 2018 and 2022 World Cups held in Russia and Qatar, respectively.

  28. The much better-looking Dana wrote:

There is absolutely no reason to believe that if Hillary Clinton is elected president, Chelsea Clinton, along with Bill Clinton, will (not) be privy to issues of national security.

People who have access to classified material are supposed to be trained on how to handle classified material; apparently the lovely Mrs Clinton never was, or didn’t care.

If Mrs Clinton was e-mailing classified information to Mrs Mezvinsky, why would we think that she kept it from her husband. Marc Mezvinsky co-founded and managed Eaglevale Partners, a Manhattan-based hedge fund, and succeeded in losing 90% of its value, and thus 90% of its investors money. One wonders if his lovely wife would share such information with her husband — himself the son of a convicted embezzler — if it might help him with his financial dealings.
