Carlos Danger On His Relationship With 15-Year Old Girl: I Have No One To Blame But Myself

Filed under: General — Dana @ 9:09 am

[guest post by Dana]

Here is Anthony Weiner’s (D) statement upon it being revealed that he has been involved in an online relationship with a 15-year old girl. He did not deny exchanging ‘flirtatious’ messages with the teen…:

‘I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgement about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent.

‘I am filled with regret and heartbroken for those I have hurt.

‘While I have provided the Daily Mail with information showing that I have likely been the subject of a hoax, I have no one to blame but me for putting myself in this position.

‘I am sorry.’

You can read their texting/sexting messages at the link, if you are so inclined.

  2. I just saw that and came straight here. 🙂 First thought: not this * again.

I wonder, however, if Daily Mail is as gullible as Tommy Christopher. Weiner is the skeev he ever was, no doubt at all. And no doubt he carried on a correspondence like the one described. That said, we’ve seen the concocted personas of troubled teen concerned father gambit before, and I didn’t see anything to make be believe without reservation that this was not another pass by characters made especially for the internet.

  3. In other words, this daughter dad combo could be as fake as the other ones were, however real Weiner took her to be. I don’t think it probably mattered much to Weiner.

  4. sounds to me like he’s learned his lesson

  5. Did Carlos Danger have a father while growing up?

    How about an Uncle?

There’s a reason wolves kill their young.

  6. Carlos Dangler… makes me wonder if he didn’t have his toddler son right next to him during these “sessions”

  9. It seems like Anthony Weiner deleted his Twitter account, but not his Facebook account, which he also used a few years ago, although we knew more about what was on Twitter.

The article says it started on January 23, 2016, when she contacted him through Twitter. They moved to soemthing called TK. They also used Confide, which deletes messages after one viewing, but the girl says she took pictures of some in February and March. Anthony Weiner keeps up to date.

It had apparently stopped, but he found her on Facebook the day after Huma Abedin announced they had separated, and started again. (Previously they had communicated only through direct messages in Twitter, TK and Confide, but not Facebook.)

Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner didn’t actually separate so much. A caption in the Daily Mail article says that Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin are still living in the same apartment, but they left separately this morning. Huma left, carrying a shopping bag and abig purse, to go fly with Hillary Clinton to campaign in Orlando, Florida (but I thought Hillary was staying in Chappaqua to prepare for the debate) while Athony Weiner just went out for a walk. He is still taking care of his son. He was with him in the park on Tuesday.

  10. Oh, hi SarahW and MayBee,

It’s funny that it’s Carlos Danger that brings out the estrogen! (Of which we are in very, very short supply of around here…)

Anyway, I find it interesting that both Huma and Hillary married men made of the same cloth. A craven weakness of the flesh that is indulged no matter the risks and dire consequences. Does that point to a common flaw in both women as well, that they would each choose men of such weak character to commit to? I think so.

  11. The letters from the teenager are not paragraphed well, so that could be an indication of her age or ratgher exeperience.

I see in one letter that she sent Weiner written third hand – she may have started to write it as one kind of piece and then changed it to anoher – there is the quote:

“I approached him at out post-campaign party and asked Do you know I’m a single mom?’

It takes a little bit of reading carefully to realize that it’s a quote from Jessica Provenz that appeared in the Daily Intelligencer dated 08 Sept 2016, which is from New York magazine online.

She says she catfished him. She earlier sent him a letter which she pretended was a copy of a letter she sent to her teacher (it was addressed to an e-mail address she had just created and coied to him) in which she seems both to have praised herself and to have claimed (to he imaginary teacher) that their chats were never inappropriate.

She seems tp be claiming to have written a book.

She says Anthony Weiner needs to retire and she needs to retire from this, also.

    Sammy Finkelman (dec35d)

  12. Interesting, he teenagere says:

We fall in love with things, and we let it kill us. You don’t have to do that. You’re married to sexting and your wife is married to Clinton. If HRC jumped off a bridge, your wife would be chasing after her, clutching Hillary’s purse, and jumping with her

This is inaccurare. I don’t think Hillary has ever been seen with a purse.

Well, she has been seen with one, but it’s more like a bag. I found two stories quickly. One about a purse that cost $3,500 and another about ordering her Secret Service agent to carry it.

  15. Our political elite certainly is exceptional. Yesterday, one of our trolls thought Eisenhower and Patton were examples of people who failed the [baseless] innuendo test. No mention of JFK, LBJ, or Willie who all passed the well documented libertine test, numerous times. What could possibly account for this myopia?

Speaking of myopia, this is the Oxford example of usage:

“historians have been censured for their myopia in treating modern science as a western phenomenon”

Yes, yes. Herbal medicines, witch doctors, virgins in the volcano, islam, these are legacies that have served the third world so very well. And now our children are falling for the myths. But it takes a well coordinated effort to fool so many so much of the time.

How in Hell did Abedin think marrying Weiner would help her?

  19. Patterico tried to warn people.

Indeed. This is no surprise to people who were reading this blog in 2011.

I wonder what Gennette Cordova thinks of these latest revelations. She was very defensive of Der Weiner on the underage girl angle.

Weiner is just her beard so she can spend all of her time with her true love, HRC.

  25. Weiner is contemptible, but at this point I can’t help but feel compassion for him and wish that Huma or someone allegedly close to him would convince him to spend a year in a mental health facility away from social media, mobile phones, and the like. He quite obviously has deep-seated psychological problems, and it seems that only 24-care by trained professionals will give him a fighting chance to be a normal functioning human being.

On a side note, can you imagine what it would be like had this guy ended up the NYC mayor?

How in Hell did Abedin think marrying Weiner would help her </blockquote. the question is, how did Bill Clinton think it would help him
    and Hillary?

    Answer.

    1. Stablizes Anthony Weiner's sex life.

    2. Removes questions as to why they are not married from both Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner, and enables both of them to have a child so they look normal. Both need this politically. Weiner so he can run for something and Abedin mostly so it looks better for Hillary.

    3. Prevents Huma from getting involved with someone not close to Clinton, which might detract from her loyalty.

  37. I was remiss.

    http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Battle_of_Saragarhi

…At Saragarhi, the enemy made two determined attempts to rush the gate of the post and on both occasions the defenders repulsed the assault. While the enemy suffered heavy casualties, the ranks of the defenders too kept dwindling as the fire from the attackers took its toll and their ammunition stocks were depleting. Unmindful of his safety, Sepoy Gurmukh Singh kept signalling a minute-to-minute account of the battle from the signal tower in the post to Battalion HQs. The battle lasted the better part of the day. When repeated attacks failed, the enemy set fire to the surrounding bushes & shrubs and two of the tribesmen under cover of smoke, managed to close in with the post’s boundary wall in an area blind to the defender’s observation and rifle fire from the post holes. They succeeded in making a breach in the wall. This development could be seen from Fort Lockhart and was flashed to the post.

A few men from those defending the approaches to the gate were dispatched to deal with the breach in the wall. This diversion by the enemy and the defenders’ reaction resulted in weakening of the fire covering the gate. The enemy now rushed the gate as well as the breach. Thereafter, one of the fiercest hand-to-hand fights followed. One of the Havildar Singh’s men, who was seriously wounded and was profusely bleeding, had taken charge of the guardroom. He shot four of the enemy as they tried to approach his charge. All this time, Sepoy Gurmukh Singh continued flashing the details of the action at the post. Beside this the Commanding Officer of 36th Sikh and others at Lockhart Fort also saw his unique saga of heroism and valour unfold at Saragarhi. The battle had come too close for Sepoy Gurmukh Singh’s comfort, so he asked Battalion HQs for permission to shut down the heliograph and take up his rifle. Permission was flashed back. He dismounted his heliograph equipment, packed it in a leather bag, fixed bayonet on his rifle and joined the fight. From this vantage point in the tower he wrought havoc on the intruders in the post. He died fighting, but took 20 of the enemy with him…

  39. Saragarhi is the incredible story of 21 men of the 36th Sikh Regiment (currently the 4th Sikh Regiment) who gave up their lives in devotion to their duty. This battle, like many others fought by the Sikhs, highlights the heroic action by a small detachment of Sikh soldiers against heavy odds. This encounter took place on 12 September 1897 in the Tirah region of North-West Frontier Province (now in Pakistan, which then formed part of British India). In keeping with the tradition of the Sikh Army, they fought to the death rather than surrender….

  48. The “hoax” thing is interesting. The girl told her dad and a teacher about the online relationship with Weiner. He convinced her to write a letter to her teacher saying she made it up, and email him a copy.

But she never sent that letter.

So when the Daily Mail came knocking, Wiener says “here’s my letter, see it was a hoax”. But it wasn’t, and she could prove it.

See he’s not a totally helpless victim of his urges, he thought he had a get-out-of-jail-free card to use if he needed it.
