Bill Clinton And Loretta Lynch: We Promise To Never Meet Again During F.B.I. Investigations That Involve Us

Filed under: General — Dana @ 6:35 pm

[guest post by Dana]

It’s a lazy Saturday afternoon, so why not throw up a few of the more interesting tidbits of the day.

First, let me point out, as expected, the MSM has provided the public with pathetic excuses reasonable explanations as to why a “really social guy” like Bill Clinton would meet with the Attorney General during an official F.B.I. investigation into his wife’s use of a home server and the Clinton Foundation, in which he is a key player.

And, in case you missed it, Bill Clinton, through his spokesman, said that if he had a do-over, he would not meet with Lynch because of how others might view it. Loretta Lynch also assured the public that if she had to do it again, she would not meet with that “really social guy” because she understands how their innocent meeting has cast a shadow over the investigation. And Hillary Clinton has echoed both Bill and Lynch: “Obviously, no one wants to see any untoward conclusions drawn, and they said they would not do it again.” So, nothing to see, no impropriety, no conflict of interest, and certainly no violation of the Dept. of Justice Ethics Regulations. So get off your judgey high horses, people, because they have obviously learned their lesson.

Amusingly, after giving a voluntary interview with the F.B.I. this morning, we learn that Hillary Clinton gets her news just like our current president. It’s a Democrat thing:

Untitled2

Also, there are whispers that things are proceeding as planned going to be coming up roses for Hillary:

Untitled

And look who simply couldn’t resist:

Untitled3

Tomorrow morning, the talking heads will provide us with their insightful clarity into this latest Democratic scandal unfortunate misunderstanding.

  13. Kind of interesting that Patterico was reporting just yesterday that Hillary! had not yet been interviewed by the FBI, yet now we are somehow led to believe that the decision not to indict her has already been made. And they wonder why so many of us think the fix is in.

  17. That meeting had to have been arranged – by Bill Clinton, not necessarily and probably not Loretta Lynch. He could have arranged it. He didn’t have to tell her. In fact that might have bene the point. If he tried to scchedule ameeting, it would be easily turned down. If he ran into her at some event, her meeting him might not tell him anything. It had to be a sudden opportunity, but she might be very impolite not to meet him, and would, unless there was some ethical reason not to.

Finding out whether or not there was an open and shut ethical bar to their meeting might have been exactly what he was after. This would either be that she’s about to indicted, or that that he himself is a potential target of a RICO investigation.

The fact that Hillary’s interview with the FBI took place today fits with this theory. The interview is a step the FBI would take (unless it was refused) before deciding whether to recommend an indictment. Had she been close to an indictment, the interview would have bene called off by Hillary. Now that she’s not so close, she can do it, and still know there’ll be no indictment before it gets too close to the election to indict, according to Justice Department written guidelines.

Her schedule was public. He arrived at the airport early. Well, if he wanted to meet her, he would have to be there a bit early because he wouldn’t know exactly when she would land and he wouldn’t want to miss her. They met on an airplane that was parked next to hers that was neither his nor hers. Somebody must have started the air conditioning in that plane before. (Clinton would want to inconvenience her the least – of course, in this theory, he must have known where exactly the plane would touch down, but he might have known this because maybe he could find out the security arrangements or maybe they were standard because there would be a limosine waiting for her which he might also have known would not yet arrive. This is maybe getting too complicated because I don’t know all the facts. The explanation as to how he knew where her plane would be parked would be very simple.)

The story as to why he was in Phoenix is that he was there to play golf. But it’s not the most natural place to play golf now. It was something like 108 degrees Fahrenheit in Phoenix that day. Golf could be a good excuse for a trip to Phoenix, though, and could be scheduled pretty quickly..

  18. Once you assume that this meeting was not an accident, then there’s something very telling about this meeting which we may not realize, because it’s so obvious to us.

It means there’s something very serious that Bill Clinton knows that’s worthy of indictment, whether or not the investigation is at that stage.

As Rush Limbaugh put it on June 30th:

    http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2016/06/30/what_i_think_bill_told_loretta

…Why would Bill Clinton be thinking that it’s even remotely possible his wife would be indicted, necessitating this conversation with her?

CALLER: Well, sometimes the truth runneth over. I don’t know —

RUSH: No. I’ll tell you why. I’ll answer my own pregunta. If Bill Clinton is thinking it’s a possibility, then there’s more than smoke here. I realize all of this is hypothetical, we don’t know, we’re all guessing here, but we are using intelligence guided by experience. Bill Clinton’s a known quantity. Hillary Clinton’s a known quantity. We know how they look at the judiciary. We know how they look at power. We know how they’ve used it in the past. We know that the last thing in the world anybody wants or expects is Mrs. Clinton to be indicted, but if Clinton thinks that it’s possible, then there has to be a reason for it.

If he’s out there thinking she could be indicted and it’s crazy close enough, that he’s gotta go talk to the AG about it, then there’s probably a whole bunch of reasons or validity for indicting her, which would be tantamount to being included in your theory. If Clinton’s running around thinking, “She didn’t do nothing wrong. Hell, she hasn’t done nothing anybody else hasn’t done. This is crazy. This is all ginned up by the vast right-wing conspiracy,” he would be thinking Loretta Lynch is thinking the same thing, there’s no way there’s ever gonna be an indictment, but he’s gonna go talk to her, thinking that there could be an indictment that must mean that his wife’s done something that could justify an indictment. That’s what I’m saying.

    Sammy Finkelman (09e4a9)

  19. she’s an incredibly large chunk of justice, even for a chronically engorged slutstate like failmerica

  20. Here is the quote from J. Christian Adams on tha Rush Limbaugh show where he mentions the writen guideline in the Justice Department not to indict (a candidate?) too close to an election: (something most people do not seem to be aware of)

    http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2016/07/01/j_christian_adams_tells_us_why_lynch_met_with_clinton_and_what_it_means

RUSH: Right. Well, where do you expect this to go now? As a seasoned veteran of DOJ and now running your election legal foundation, where do you expect this to go? What’s the endgame here with this story?

CALLER: [sic the caller is Adams] There’s two irreconcilable American values. One, we don’t criminalize politics. That’s what Third World nations do. And you don’t indict people because, you know, there’s some political differences. On the other hand, nobody’s above —

RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, wait. You mean in a campaign or something, our civilized way, we would not bring proceedings because that would taint the purity of the campaign, the election? Is that what you mean?

ADAMS: Yeah. And that’s actually a Justice Department value. They don’t want to influence an election by indicting before elections. That’s a written guideline. On the other hand, nobody’s above the law. You know, Hillary’s not above the law, and the king should not be above the law. And so we have these two irreconcilable American values clashing in this, and I don’t know which way it’s gonna go.

Hill, I heard you’ll be indicted
    Heard you’ll be indicted
    This time they’re really sure
    And this is the end
They say they really mean it
This time they got you dead to rights
Tied up and wrapped up good and tight

    Maybe it’s the best thing
Maybe it’s the best thing for you
But it’s the worst that could happen to us

  26. Did Loretta High-Tech Lynch and Billy B.J.Clinton …..CORKSCREW into Phoenix, under SNIPER fire.

  27. The fact that B.J.CLINTON did his usual abjectly BRAZEN behavior, and ARRANGED a meet up with the MF’ING ATTORNEY GENERAL of THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA 2-3 DAYS before his WIFE and CRIME FAMILY COHORT was to be INTERVIEWED by the F.B.I., tells us EVERYTHING we need to know. B.J. CLINTON ..,..OBVIOUSLY KNEW, that RODHAM had NEGOTIATED and ARRANGED the F.B.I. interview/interrogation. Rodham wasn’t called on Friday afternoon to see if she could fit the F.B.I. interview into hers and her 5 attorneys schedule. Rodham knew the appointment. B.J.BILLY knew the SCHEDULE. B.J. BILLY realized a 2ND BLUE DRESS was on the IMMEDIATE HORIZON, and made arrangements to be WHERE Loretta “High Tech” Lynch was going to be. The smell of FEAR and DESPERATION, the STENCH of the CLINTON CRIME FAMILY is in the air. Is this SUPPOSED to be a COINCIDENCE???? Rodham is to be INTERROGATED in a couple days, by the F.B.I., and BILLY B.J. takes a FLIGHT to EXACTLY WHERE the F.B.I. Boss Lady is at?? He waits in a PRIVATE JET on the TARMAC so he can have a WEE CHAT about his Grandchildren????? Who believes such CRAP?

  36. 17. SF: They met on an airplane that was parked next to hers that was neither his nor hers.

The third plane might be a completely false report:

    http://observer.com/2016/07/exclusive-security-source-details-bill-clinton-maneuver-to-meet-loretta-lynch/

I had that third plane from Rush Limbaugh, which he spoke about like it was acknowledged fact, and I assumed he had a good source for that. But it might have been a planted bit of disinformation. The simple explanation for that part of the story might be…that it’s untrue. I think that’s actually the case a lot of times with things Clinton. Parts of the story that don’t fit are..lies.

That third plane gave all kinds of trouble to the idea that Bill Clinton alone, contrived hat meeting, and Bill Clinton might have been interested in planting a piece of information that contradicted that idea, precisely because it is true and gives insight into his motives.

That plane would have had to be available to him, and air conditioned already, and he would have had to be able to get it parked next to her plane, without being able to park his own there..

    Sammy Finkelman (09e4a9)

  37. According to this source, whose credentials were checked and confirmed by the Observer with sources inside both the FBI and the United States Secret Service, the attorney general was caught completely off guard by the meeting and the source dismisses suggestions that have been raised alleging that she waited there to see Bill Clinton or accommodated his request to see him. In fact, it seems from this source that it was Bill Clinton who was maneuvering for face time with the attorney general, because his plane had been scheduled to leave before hers arrived. That he had delayed his departure we knew already.

. They [their planes] were 75 yards apart. We have a procedure we do to clear [space for] a motorcade. As we were ready to receive her, I saw the other motorcade coming in—we were like, ‘great timing.’ ”

The source was being sarcastic in saying “great timing,” indicating that it would have been better logistically for Clinton’s plane to take off before Lynch’s arrived, to avoid the congestion of two motorcades on the tarmac at once. The source indicated that Clinton’s people at the airport didn’t know what was taking Clinton’s motorcade so long to arrive and speculated that the delay was engineered specifically so that Clinton would not have left before Lynch arrived.

    Sammy Finkelman (09e4a9)

  38. Recall that as the Clintonistas left the White House in 2001, after the bitterly disputed 2000 election, they pried off the “W” key from all of the computer keyboards throughout the White House.

The FBI interview was precisely the right length to be minimally credible. It will be spun as “We only needed to confirm that she didn’t have bad intentions on a few particularly unfortunate email-related concerns. She didn’t. We asked several times. She finally pinky-swore. You can’t beat that. What do you want, thumbscrews? It was Miller time, there’s a coronation to attend at the convention and then the First! Woman! President! can Save! The! 57. @Colonol Haiku 47. 48. 49.On some questions, Xavier Becerra used carefully chosen words that his interviewer (I didn’t get her name) didn’t pick up the significance of, although for one he gave a clue; and on another question, he just filibustered and didn’t answer the question at all – not because the Democrats don’t have a prepared answer, because they do, and I know it, but because that educates people and raises all sorts of other, better questions, and if this was really folllowed up, we might get somewhere.

    1. Carefully chosen words:

    A) That the military could not have arrived in time.

This one he gave away actually by mentioning that the orders were, or would have been, to go, not to Benghazi, but to Tripoli.

Now, first if all, this direction to Tripoli, not Benghazi, needs some explanation. The idea of going to Tripoli was because of the possibility that the embassy there might be attacked. They were getting threats or disinformation that that would be next. Benghazi, most people in the U.S. government thought, was all over, and they kept on thinking that, again and again. over and over again, several different times during the night.

So that’s why the orders would have been to go to Tripoli – to protect the people there.

Xavier Becerra said the changing of the uniforms four times in Rota, Spain was already known in 2013, and that’s probably correct, but the Democrats never tried to call any attention to it. I know there’s a couple of things I learned that have not been repeated now.

And there’s another key thing Xavier Becerra left out. It is not that no help could have arrived. Had anyone been directed to go to Benghazi when the first attack happened, they would have arrived before the last attack happened – the one that killed two Americans – but he makes it sound like it was physically impossible – the U.S. military can’t be everywhere etc..

    B) Confusing information. Becerra doesn’t explain what it was, but it’s very significant, and could raise a lot of questions as to why some of it was believed, or acted upon. This deals with where the Ambssador was, whether Libyan forces were or should be asked to help, how easy it would be to get a plane and evacuate everybody from Benghazi safely, and whether Tripoli was going to be the next target. The interviewer did not pick up on this at all, did not probe, and did not realize there was a lot concealed with these carefully chosen words.

    C) The committee did not find anything wrong that the Accountability Review Board did not. Not mentioned: a) The ACB was limited to a topic that Hillary Clinton chose: Why, in general, there wasn’t more security at the Benghazi villa that the Ambassador was staying in b) it consisted of members she chose, and c) there was nothing on the (surviving) record as to Hillary Clinton having made any decisions about security personally. The interviwee did not mention the non-punishment punishments some people got, and why that happened. Also not covered by the APB was who was responsible for the security plan in Benghazi, why it had all these flaws, and why the idea of abandoning the villa, and having any visitors like the Ambassador staying at the better protected CIA safe house instead, was rejected.

The reason it was rejected was that the location of the CIA safe house/secret annex was supposedly not known, but, the argument went, if the Ambassador used it, it might become known that this was an American establishment and all the other people there be put in danger. That was the position of the CIA even after the attack – that is, that the place had been detected by the attackers when the people who came to the publicly known place left – i.e., that they were followed that night. I don’t know if that’s still the posiiton of the CIA.

    2. he just filibustered

This was on teh question as to why Hillary Clinton and others spoke about the video after they already knew it as terrorism.

The answer to that is that they unlearned it as a result of SOOPER SEKRIT information pouring in from the CIA plus some more public information as well. And that Hillary Clinton did not want to contradict or argue with the CIA. Even though she knew for a fact – not thought but knew that some of it was wrong – in particular, that theer had never been any demonstration preceding the attack in Benghazi.

The assumption it was a planned act of terror came – or at least became almost undisputed within the U.S. government – in large part because Ansar al Sharia claimed responsibility for it on Facebook. However, that claim of responsibility was later retracted (after the video story seemed to be taking off)

The media does not seem to have possession of the text of the original claim of responsibility.

    Sammy Finkelman (09e4a9)

  58. Sammeh, the media will continue burying this story and will collude with their Democrat party masters to spin, spin spin and spin some more.

Where is Noor Salman? More importantly, where is the media on her overnight disappearance in the wake of her husband’s terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub?
Three week ago today, the nation woke up to the news about the worst terrorist attack to hit U.S. soil since 9/11. The one woman who may hold answers (and who may also share responsibility for the attacks) is “missing” according to government officials and no one in the media is asking about her whereabouts. It was obvious given the facts of the case the media was going to bury this story as quickly as possible. But there is a woman missing who may be a co-conspirator and not one inquiring journalist asks about her whereabouts? What a sad state of affairs for that dying profession.”

Sure, lots of liberals will declare on their personal Facebook page that they “stand” with the victims of the Orlando Gay Nightclub Massacre, but their outrage doesn’t ACTUALLY extend to holding anyone responsible for enabling her to get away.
It’s kind of like the fruit loop liberals who are freaking about some spurious allegation against Trump that he committed sexual assault during the Clinton years.
We all know how serious the liberals are about sexual assault allegations against politicians!!!!! (LOL)

  69. I’m glad that Trump Supporter is reminding everyone of the pending child rape allegations against Donald Trump.

I never supported Bill Clinton. I never voted for him. I was 11 years old when he left office. My parents -liberals – slagged him off as a scoundrel.

So, I guess neither I nor my parents stooped to the levels you’re stooping to, Trump Supporter. Allegations are just allegations, yeah. But these particular allegations make sense, given Trump’s history of raping people and given his acknowledged friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, who even you dishonest shills acknowledge to be a sexual predator.

You guys want a potential child rapist to be president of the United States. Because something something Hillary. Hope you’re proud of yourselves.

I just googled “Barack Obamas Net Worth” and was informed it’s 12.2 million. And Google stated: “the math for this drastic increase in net worth will not quite add up if you consider an annual salary of $400,000.” In the last 10 years he went from $1.3 million to $12.2 million. HOW?

Mainly from book sales, which shot up temporarily after he became a leading 2008 Democratic presidential candidate, and then the nominee, and then president. In 2009 he grossed nearly $5.7 million from book sales, but in 2010 only $1.6 million, according to the following source, citing Forbes. It’s not Google, by the way, that wrote that the math does not add up, but the website http://celebritynetworth.club.

    http://heavy.com/news/2015/11/barack-obama-net-worth-height-age-twitter-wife-michelle-kids-sasha-malia-president-money-salary-pension-books-rich/

…His net worth is estimated to be in the millions, $12.2 million according to Celebrity Net Worth and $6 million according to Forbes….Much of Obama’s money comes from the books he writes, two of which were written before he was president. And his future post-presidency memoir? It’s expected to make $20 million, according to the Washington Post.

The proceeds of his 2010 book “Of Thee I Sing: A Letter To My Daughters,” went to a charity that gives scholarships for children of fallen and disabled soldiers.

Forbes had lowered its estimate from an earlier one, both because Obama appears to have spent some money and because the amounts were estimated from figures given in ranges in financial disclosure statements and some items dropped from one category to a lower one.

He gets a salary of $400,000 per year, but $1.5 Million is contributed toward his pension. (!) He went into the presidency, or had shortly – within a year or two after he became president – $3.4 million in Treasury bills (the most neutral and safe investment he can have, although that does align his interests nevertheless with some people and not with others) That money probably came mostly from book sales.

He also had about $300,000 in college funds for his daughters, as well as a 90,000 in a state of Illinois pension fund. He never saved money for many years, and by 2012 he still hadn’t paid off the mortgage on his Hyde Park house. He wasn’t getting very much in interest in Treasury bills and bonds, and the tax deduction is limited to the first $100,000 of value anyway and the house is worth something like $1,650,000.
