Terrorist Gunmen Kill American and Wound 12 in Israel; Terrorist Families Can Now Be Rewarded for Martyrdom by Iran

Filed under: General — JVW @ 2:51 pm

[guest post by JVW]

Do you think there might be some correlation between these stories?

January 16: International Sanctions Against Iran Lifted

February 25: Iran Promises to Pay Arab Families for Terror Attacks in Israel

March 8: American Veteran Killed as Palestinians Unleash Attacks in Israel

But don’t worry, folks: Joe Biden is there in Jerusalem right now visiting his “old friend” Benjamin Netanyahu and our Vice-President has condemned the attacks and condemned Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah Party for celebrating them on Twitter. Wouldn’t you love to know if Netanyahu took the opportunity to remind Biden that Israel knew all along that this would be the logical outcome of his boss’s capitulation outreach to the Mullahs?

But hey, beyond that hiccup our new warm relationship with Iran is going phenomenally well, isn’t it?

  1. Slight post-publication edit: I corrected the date of the attacks from March 9 (today) to March 8 (yesterday).

  2. I forget when, days ago, Iran announced it would be paying the families of Gazan and West Bank terrorists for their attacks.

So it can’t be said enough; Prom Queen is paying terrorists.

    Steve57 (4d34f4)

  3. After they pay the terrorists they bring them here and put them on the dole and other benefits then sign them up to vote.

  4. Stupid me. Duh!!

As JVW notes the Iranians said they were going to start paying in February. I recalled seeing the report because I didn’t think this administration’s serial and routine betrayals were any longer worth mentioning.

  7. I especially like the part where we’re actually paying Iran a hefty sum for the privilege of having our citizens murdered.

  8. The American was a West Point grad and a veteran with tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He was no longer associated with the military (other than some reserve requirements, perhaps) and was looking forward to a new career in business. His trip was associated with his grad school program.

The usual State Department twitter offensive will commence shortly, as soon as they can figure out how to spin this to inflict the greatest amount of damage their domestic enemies. Look for Kerry to enlist the victim’s family in propagating the administration’s lies.

There were several attacks throughout Israel, and the weapons of choice were a knives. Our liberal minders will no doubt be pleased at the lessening of violence as indicated by the weapon used to slaughter the victims. They’d probably be even happier if the deed had been done with a hammer, a la Pol Pot. This is progress in Obama’s world.

Curiously, Obama has given Iran nuclear weapons which will make consideration of the weapon used to slay individuals moot.

Of even greater puzzlement, Obama is said to have a 51% approval rating. I think Israel needs to reevaluate its dependence on the western world. The fantasy our elite leaders prefer to live in will soon be washed away in blood.

One is a bigot if one points out the 800lb gorilla in the room is that the Religion of Peace is no more than a blood cult and allowing them here is a death sentence to Americans. One can only hope it’s the loved ones of those who welcome these barbarians who end as their victims and not ours.

I’m always amused that people who don’t want moslems in America are bigots but moslems in America who blow up people because, well, because they’re American, are not bigots.

Why would killing the families of Islamic terrorists stop Islamic terrorism? They get-off on death and murder, they love that stuff. Islamic terrorism is a death cult (that is thier idealogy) that holds strongly to the ideas of the blood fued, but on steroids. It is not a big deal to sacrafice their kids, they do it all the time, ask the Israelies.

And how many families should we exterminate; hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, more? I just don’t think it is a well thought out strategy.

Rather than manufacture hundreds (thousands? not sure what you have in mind) of martyrs with many under the age of five, perhaps we should use our resources to kill the terrorists instead.

  30. Wanting to kill innocent children is evil.

    youre assuming theyre innocent:

“Report: 31,000 Islamic State Women Pregnant with Jihadi Babies”

The terrorists then use the resulting children in their efforts to spread terror and murder.
They place the children in front during public executions, including stonings, crucifixions, and beheading. The Islamic State then enrolls these children, some as young as six, into training camps. One video, titled “School of Jihad,” shows children learning how to behead and torture “infidels” and handle weapons.

  31. Firstly, children are a completely blank slate and so don’t have the cognitive abilities or the adult decision-making processes, so they can be manipulated because they are vulnerable to do all kinds of things,” said Malik. “The families play a key role in doing this as well. Mothers play a key role: they read story books on martyrdom to their children at night. The families are teaching them what is right and wrong. This purity angle is very interesting.”

  33. the terrorists have turned their families into enemy combatants

as long as the world continues to ignore or reject this it does so at its own peril and endangers us all

its about time to redefine the terms collateral damage and innocent civilians

does anybody really think for a single solitary second that the san bernardino terror couple wouldnt have raised their child to be a jihadist had they not done the terror attack they did

  34. #24: narciso, it is revealing that they are going to turn the poison-gas chemist over to the Kurds. Someone is paying attention over there. The Kurds have been looking for these guys for a couple of decades, and I don’t think they’ll neglect to take full advantage of this opportunity.

But this is such a departure from U. S. catch-and-release policy. I hope Kerry and the child-man in the White House don’t get wind of this before the exchange is made.

    BobStewartatHome (a52abe)

  35. you know I didn’t notice that detail, he was most likely involved in the Anfal, it’s sort of a seemless transition from the baathist regime to the insurgency to the islamic state, and it has roots going back to the Golden Square, three quarters of a century ago,

    narciso (732bc0)

  36. Biden appears to be doing all of the heavy lifting for the White House, because at this moment there is nothing on the White House website which would indicate that the President has said word one about the terror attacks or the death of an American serviceman, nor does the news seem to carry any reports of Obama having said anything about it. I wonder if he has the self-awareness to understand that his stupid and futile Iran policy is enabling these attacks. Probably not.

They don’t want some other countries to get the credit.

    Sammy Finkelman (68a4ee)

  38. Also, the Palestinian Authority is not going to act as a money laundry for Iran. They are acting as a money laundry for other countries, when they pay terrorists families (skimming some of the top as a fee, of course)

  41. #30, JD, an eye for an eye… predates modern political categories, so take a few deep breaths before you start throwing rocks. These terrorist animals are willing to die to kill Americans, and they know their families will be rewarded with cash payments.

Donald Trump didn’t kill anyone and he didn’t pay-off the families of murderous terrorists, yet when he suggests going after the direct financial beneficiaries of terrorism the weak sisters here get the vapors, swoon at the horror, and complain Trump’s intentions would stain their lily white skirts.

So, yes, I support Trump, the only candidate who’s got the guts to face up to the problem.

  42. I suppose you have to go to war with the commander in chief you have, not the commander in chief you want. If killing women and children is all a badgerheaded loony old Lothario is capable of, that’s what will happen.

  43. Hopefully the last time I will make this point,
If Trump’s past behavior and performance were consistent with his talk I would take him more seriously,
    But they aren’t.
In fact, on national TV in front of a crowd on an election night, he accuses his detractors with lying by lying and using fake props.
I didn’t like what Romney did, agree with Trump and others that he should have acted that way with Obama,
    But Trump’s response was pitiful,
He is an untrustworthy used jalopy salesman.
If one thinks there are no other good candidates, fine, that doesn’t make Trump one.

Maybe he should try, I dunno, going after the paymasters and shutting down the whole financial reward system, which might put a dent in terrorism, before slaughtering a two-year old on the off chance that will calm things down and make the terrorists stop.

Killing those families will provide all kinds of martyrs, which is the fuel Islamic terrorism burns. Imagine picture after picture of slaughtered kids killed by US troops, projected on media throughout the world. Not only will that bolster Islamic terrorism, but it will weaken the will of free people to fight this war. Once the American People see enough of these images, our will to fight will falter. We freaked out at Abu Ghraib, where not a single prisoner was physically harmed — and those victims were full grown men, soldiers. It does not take a wizard to see that this will help Islamic terrorism. These are not the right tactics for this war.

Perhaps we should concentrate our efforts and resources on effective tactics, gathering intel, marshaling allies, and killing terrorists; but no, instead, let’s use some of those resources and kill their families and see what happens — “genius” idea!

I do not want my children to pay the price for some stupid tactic that almost certainly will backfire. “Kill their families,” say the guys who get to sit on their asses and demand that my kid go to war and do that killing, and deal with the consequences. No thank you.

Even your candidate has abandoned you.

    Pons Asinorum (49e2e8)

  47. One would think JP, but Obama has bent-over so much for the Iranians, that they must see Obama as an ally of sorts.

They know they have nothing to fear as long as he is President.

    Pons Asinorum (49e2e8)

  48. I read that the American killed yesterday was an Eagle Scout, a West Point graduate, and a native of my Lubbock TX where I grew up. Any death is sad but this one hits me harder because of his admirable background and Panhandle ties.
