Bill Clinton Accuses Former Marine Of Having A “Poisoned Mind” Because He Doesn’t Buy Hillary Clinton’s Lies About Benghazi

Filed under: General — Dana @ 9:53 am

[guest post by Dana]

During a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton in South Carolina, Bill Clinton was on stage when a former Marine confronted him about Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi cover-up:

U/I MAN: …I did eight years of active duty service, two tours in Iraq. From a platoon of thirty-one, I had seven that were killed, six wounded beyond return, we got hit hard. And I know there’s a lot of military… probably people in crowd with military service members… I’m anxious to get to the VA, I’m not sure so I wanted to…

CLINTON: I am.

U/I MAN: Hopefully, you can get to it, but I know that we’ve had…

CLINTON: I’m not talking about the VA…

U/I MAN: But we have loved ones that we want to hear about and we care about, and I’ve met with many of these Gold Stars parents and families so I’ve…

CLINTON: Are you done with your speech?

U/I MAN: I’ve seen them mourn, and the thing is we had four lives in Benghazi that were killed and your wife tried to cover it up. Going over those lives, those four lives, those four American lives, if someone lost their son, their grandchild, their brother…

CLINTON: Are you a Marine?

U/I MAN: Let me talk. Yes, I was a Marine. I was in an infantry unit out in California, I was a Marine drill instructor out here at Parris Island…

CLINTON: Are you finished, sarge…

U/I MAN: I think that every recruit, regardless of race, religion, color, okay…

CLINTON: Okay, now can I answer?

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES

CLINTON: Okay, now can I answer?

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES

CLINTON: I heard your speech. I heard your speech. Now listen to me.

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES

CLINTON: I’m not your commander-in-chief anymore but if I were I’d tell you to be more polite and sit down.

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES

U/I MAN: I won’t take it. I will just raise my voice.

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES. SECURITY TAKES U/I MAN BY ARM.

U/I MAN: I’m a citizen. But the bottom line is that (unintelligble).

CLINTON: Don’t throw him out. I you shut up and listen to my answer I’ll answer you.

U/I MAN IS EJECTED

CLINTON: Can I tell you something. That is what is wrong. His mind has been poisoned by lies and he won’t listen.

According to Clinton, the problem isn’t that Hillary Clinton lied to the surviving families of 4 Americans killed in Benghazi when she blamed their deaths on an internet video. No, that’s not what’s wrong. What’s really wrong is that only a poisoned mind would disbelieve and challenge the narrative that the White House and Hillary Clinton’s State Dept. have pushed since Day One. But sadly, that “poisoned mind” is unable to get the help needed to be free from such contamination because the VA under the Obama administration is in such disarray that the afflicted might actually die waiting to get the help he so desperately needs!

Red State also provides the transcript of the female protester who continued the confrontation after the former Marine was ejected. She too was thrown out of the assembly:

U/I WOMAN: Hillary lied over four coffins. Four coffins. So all the families are liars? Are they liars? I want to know, I want to know.

CLINTON: Give me a chance, lady.

U/I WOMAN: Well answer. Did she lie? Did she lie?

CLINTON: No.

U/I WOMAN: She didn’t lie? The families are lying?

CLINTON: Will you listen to me?

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES

CLINTON: Are you going to listen to my answer?

U/I WOMAN: I am.

CLINTON: Are you afraid?

U/I WOMAN: No, I’m not afraid because I know you’re going to lie.

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES

SECURITY TAKES U/I WOMAN BY ARM.

U/I WOMAN: She lied over four coffins. Over our military men.

DEMOCRAT MOB NOISES. U/I WOMAN EJECTED.

Just like his wife, Clinton accuses the surviving family members of of lying.

And then, oddly, the former president wants to know if the challenger is afraid. What, does he believe she can’t handle the truth? The Clinton truth??

On a side note, I read where Bill Clinton appeared surprised at being confronted about Benghazi. Surely the campaign realizes that this issue is one of Hillary’s biggest vulnerabilities given that this particular scandal, more than the others, pulls at the emotional heartstrings of an America sympathetic to four families having been shamefully lied to over the caskets holding their loved ones. If this is how the campaign handles a Benghazi confrontation at a rally, how on earth will the presumptive nominee handle a direct confrontation and challenge about it during a debate with the GOP nominee? Assuming, of course, that the GOP nominee will go at her full-throttle about Benghazi.

While Bill and Hill may believe that 11 hours of testimony equals a case closed, a lot of Americans strenuously disagree.

  3. Adj Dana has a perfect photo and story on his site. The Trumpbull praised China cracking down on democracy protesters. And the Clintons both lie about Benghazi and throw people out when they’re confronted. None of those 3 individuals are fit to receive anything I haul in my 53 foot refrigerated trailer. And yet, the idiocracy we find ourelves in seems intent on nominating 2 of them for the next President.

I have seen it written that democratic societies have a life-span of roughly 200 years. That being the case, we have been living on borrowed time for quite some time now. And it’s about to end. As has also been said, the only way the US could fall — just like Rome — is from within. And that has been done and is being done. The Democrats are already gone, as far as the intent of our Founders and Framers, and the Republicans are nearly so. And will be if Trump gets the nomination. Our country will have collapsed. And with it, the opportunity for freedom anywhere in the world.

  4. electing Mr. Trump is without question the number one best thing you can do if you want to unite right and left together in a stance what is enthusiastically vigilant about encroachments on the right to free speech specifically and the exercise of civil rights generally

this is obvious to anyone who is willing to do the analysis

  7. John, since for the first century plus of our existence we were a Federal Republic, and only transitioned to a “democracy” under the guidance and leadership of our Progressive Betters after the turn of the 20th-Century, we really do have a bit of time left.
I’m optimistic that we shall be able to self-correct, just as I’m confident we’ll defeat Islamism; and in fact, the two may be connected as they both will require us to “get our head straight”.

  8. I have never understood the obsession with Benghazi. That the administration’s Libya policy led to our ambassador getting killed was basically a random twist of fate (bad luck in other words). If the ambassador and the others hadn’t died this would have been better for them and their families but our Libya policy would still have predictably led to the ongoing disaster.

    James B. Shearer (0f56fb)

  9. It was a twist of luck that Benghazi was under-secured, according to our own regulations at the time.
It was a twist of luck that Benghazi was under-secured, despite the people on the ground demanding and begging for better security.
It was a twist of luck that Hillary lied through her teeth the entire time.
It was a twist of luck that nobody in the administration was able to answer the 3am call to send nearby American forces in to defend our Consulate.
It was a twist of luck that an organized plan to attack our Consulate occurred on September 11. Who would have guessed?
It was a twist of luck that the Mohammedan in the White House and the depraved liar in the State House would ignore the overwhelming evidence and warnings that something was cooking over there.

No, the best possible answer, the least damaging possible answer is Obama, Hillary, and the rest of the crowd acted in Depraved Indifference. That’s the best possible answer. Other possible answers are much worse. Twist of luck? Not even in the realm of possibilities.

  13. John, an attack by militants armed with mortars, RPGs, and automatic weapons is not a random twist of fate. A random twist of fate would be a water heater explosion in a nearby restaurant, with the tank descending upon the Ambassador’s car while he was still in it. Benghazi was a foretaste of what we can expect when we let people like Hillary! or her boss run our foreign policy, which you acknowledge. The “obsession” is simply a recognition that where there is smoke, there is fire. The mass migration into Europe by angry young men posing as refuges is the next course of this bitter feast. It will get worse, and it will not end well.

Russia has deployed aircraft and advanced anti-aircraft missiles to Armenia in a direct challenge to Turkey. Russia has historically sought control of the Dardanelles, and Putin may regard the current situation as the best opportunity Russia has had in over two centuries. A man-child in the WH, focused on a policy of weakness and vacillation, with western Europe emasculated, may be all the incentive he needs.

Events could prove Benghazi of minor significance from a casualty standpoint. But it was the opening bell in the next conflict. To ignore it and discount its significance is silly.

  24. Please excuse my error, John. My #14 was meant as a response to James’ #9. I see that you and I both wondered what James was getting at. The treatment of the Benghazi affair by the administration and the LHMFM is symptomatic of the rot that has penetrated deep into our country. And lying to the grieved relatives of our slain in hopes of recruiting them unwittingly into a conspiracy to hide the administration’s complicity in the slaughter is despicable however you want to parse it. It is Shakespearian in its depravity.

    BobStewartatHome (e34c16)

  25. The Clintons now have a generation which did not experience “the vast right-wing conspiracy” and “it depends on what the meaning of is is”. “Poisoned mind” is the new version of those.

  26. 14…To ignore it and discount its significance is silly.

It’s not significant in the big picture. The decision to overthrow Qadaffi was a mistake which has had a bunch of bad consequences of which the death of the ambassador was just one. Paying a little more attention to the ambassador’s security might have saved 4 lives but it would have made no difference to the larger ongoing disaster which the Clinton/Obama policy created.

For me it has to do with the insult to my intelligence. Beginning with the idea this is just about our Libya policy. It’s a lot more than that; it’s the administration’s entire foreign policy. Getting past the administration’s lies surrounding the entire events of 9/11/12 are the key to exposing that policy. So let’s Start with the administration’s lies about Cairo.

    https://pjmedia.com/blog/jihadis-threaten-to-burn-u-s-embassy-in-cairo

By Raymond Ibrahim September 10, 2012

Jihadi groups in Egypt, including Islamic Jihad, the Sunni Group, and Al Gamaa Al Islamiyya have issued a statement threatening to burn the U.S. Embassy in Cairo to the ground.

…”The group, which consists of many members from al-Qaeda, called [especially] for the quick release of the jihadi [mujahid] sheikh, Omar Abdul Rahman [the “Blind Sheikh”], whom they described as a scholar and jihadi who sacrificed his life for the Egyptian Umma, who was ignored by the Mubarak regime, and [President] Morsi is refusing to intervene on his behalf and release him, despite promising that he would. The Islamic Group has threatened to burn the U.S. Embassy in Cairo with those in it, and taking hostage those who remain [alive], unless the Blind Sheikh is immediately released.”

The administration’s lies about Cairo, before we even get to Benghazi later in the same day, were so numerous they’re like the layers of an onion. Let’s peel it layer by layer. First, these terrorist groups (I know off the top of my head that Al Gamaa Al Islamiyya is on the State Department list and others of these groups surely are as well) had been publicly threatening for months to attack the US embassy in Cairo. Note the date on the report; September 10(it was actually published in the Cairo paper a day or so ahead of when Raymond Ibrahim transliterated it and posted it). This was posted the day before the US embassy was stormed. But this wasn’t the first public announcement these groups made. So, how many lies do we have here?

This will not be an exhaustive list.

    – GITMO is not a recruiting tool, as the Traitor-in-Chief wants everyone to believe. It’s the fact we have prisoners at all, anywhere, the jihadis are P.O.d about. In other words, the fact that we’re resisting their jihad that angers them. The Blind Sheikh was convicted in a federal court and is serving a life sentence in federal prison.
    – The riot (the administration lies about that, too; it was not a protest) in Cairo was not about a video that they “had nothing to do with.” But we see why they had to lie about that. Because it would have, among other lies, destroyed their lie that the “recruiting tool” was GITMO and holding detainees indefinitely without charges. Islamic supremacists don’t care if we send their jihadis to court and properly convict them or not. We’re the filthy Kuffar. We shouldn’t have Muslim prisoners at all.
    – DoS has an intel apparatus. The Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR). It’s their job to monitor threats to State Dept. facilities abroad. You know, it isn’t just Raymond Ibrahim who is capable of doing foreign press translations. If terrorist groups threaten to burn down an embassy, it’s their job to know about it. Especially when one of the leading voices calling for the destruction is the brother of Ayman al Zawahiri, the “emir” of AQ. So, they had to know for weeks in advance that there was a threat THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH A VIDEO to the embassy in Cairo. Because every friggin’ resident of Cairo knew.

Which leads us to this piece of evidence.

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/09/10/readout-president-s-meeting-senior-administration-officials-our-prepared

    The White House
    Office of the Press Secretary

    For Immediate Release
    September 10, 2012

Readout of the President’s Meeting with Senior Administration Officials on Our Preparedness and Security Posture on the Eleventh Anniversary of September 11th

…During the briefing today, the President and the Principals discussed specific measures we are taking in the Homeland to prevent 9/11 related attacks as well as the steps taken to protect U.S. persons and facilities abroad, as well as force protection. The President reiterated that Departments and agencies must do everything possible to protect the American people, both at home and abroad.

So, it wasn’t just the jihadis issuing press releases in the days before the assault on both our diplomatic facilities in Cairo and Benghazi. The WH was issuing press releases, too, saying they were totes on top of everything.

Really? Really? You want me to believe that? With all the tipper information information being broadcast in public a drunken chimpanzee could have cobbled up a reaction force for the Cairo contingency.

And if it could have reacted to Cairo, it sure as h3ll wouldn’t have been a big deal to shift it’s focus to Benghazi. Libya is about as close to a NATO base as you can get without actually joining NATO.

So, that press release was just another administration lie.

One of the key pieces of evidence for me, which I won’t link to but can later since too many links put comments into moderation, was the Ben Rhodes email about the talking points. He stated the talking points should emphasize that the atrocity in Benghazi was over an internet video the administration had nothing to do with, and was not the result of a broader policy failure.

Naturally that means the truth is exactly 180 dg opposite. It was entirely due to a broader policy failure and had nothing to do with the lie about that video.

Which is why I’m not going to go into the specifics of how and why I knew within 24 hours the administration was spewing cubic yards of lies about Benghazi, or present all my evidence. My “obsession” with Benghazi really has almost nothing to do with Benghazi. It’s that broader policy failure I want to know about. I can see the broad strokes, but I want specifics. I want to know in detail just how Obama is betraying this country.

And the road to that starts from Benghazi.

    Steve57 (5891a6)

  28. 28 … It’s that broader policy failure I want to know about. …

So concentrate on that and don’t bogged down in arguments about tiny details in the events surrounding the ambassador’s death. The problem of course is that a lot of republicans were (and are) complicit in the larger policy failure and all the delusions about the nature of countries like Libya which led to it.

    James B. Shearer (0f56fb)

  29. I love Shearer’s concern trolling.

    JD (6ce716)

  30. seeing as libya is the jayvee’s second major franchise, it’s understandable how he yells ‘squirrel’ of course, the policy ties directly to sid’s ‘homebrewed’ intelligence network on one end, and huma’s islamist ties on the other,

    narciso (732bc0)

  31. Trump, quite cleverly, spun the day’s news cycle to be all about him, again. Meanwhile, Cruz said “We expect to do well in Texas.” Political translation: ‘OMG, I’m going to lose my home state of Texas to a New Yorker.’

    DCSCA (a343d5)

  32. Benghazi is the keystone. Not the entire edifice. From Benghazi you can get to Cairo, and from Cairo you can get to the broader policy failure.

But, yes, the problem is many of the Republicans were fully on board with the broader policy failure. Recall that McCain and Graham went to Egypt to plead for Morsi’s release after the Egyptian military, and most Egyptians, had enough of the Muslim Brotherhood. I don’t hold any hope for this investigation. True, they get bogged down in all the wrong things. They ask all the wrong questions. That spectacle they put on with Clinton had to be planned as practically a campaign commercial for her. I initially held out hope, and thought Trey Gowdy was a straight shooter who really intended to get to the bottom of this. But I’ve evolved. It’s just another dog and pony show. They have no intention of getting to the bottom of anything. No more than that farce of an ARB.

Of course, this administration is fully in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood. And it’s the Muslim Brotherhood that is the architect of the broader policy failure. Huma Abedin is just the most public tip of the iceberg.

The same people who are boresighted on who Donald Trump retweets get their panties in a bunch when you point out the obvious MB agents that are thick as thieves with this administration.

It’s effin’ ridiculous. The MB can lay out exactly how it operates, i.e. that it advances its agenda by using people who are not officially members of the brotherhood itself but who are affiliated with the brotherhood, in the case of Alhassani and Abedin affiliated via membership in MB front groups such as the MSA and through ISNA mosques. It can lay out it’s grand strategy for overthowing the U.S. in documents verified as genuine and accepted as evidence in U.S. federal courts:

    http://www.clarionproject.org/Muslim_Brotherhood_Explanatory_Memorandum#

The following is the official document from a 1991 meeting which outlines the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategic goals for North America. The document was entered as evidence in the 2008 Holyland Terror Funding Trial. Federal investigators found the document in the home of Ismael Elbarasse, a founder of the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, during a 2004 search. Elbarasse was a member of the Palestine Committee, which the Muslim Brotherhood had created to support Hamas in the United States.

The original document in Arabic follows the English translation.

    …Page 7:

“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers…”

We know for a fact that the MSA is the MB’s foundational element of it’s infrastructure in the U.S. All the other unindicted coconspirators in the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial grow out of the MSA. And while not every Yousseff schmo who joins the MSA becomes an MB operative, we are not talking your average MSA member when we are talking about Alhassani or Abedin. I don’t know Alhassani’s pedigree quite as well as Abedin’s, who was born into the brotherhood as it were. But Alhassani was on the board of directors of the MSA at GWU. The MSA has an indoctrination and vetting program. To advance to that kind of leadership position you have to be fully onboard with the MB’s program. The MSA’s anthem is a restatement of the MB’s credo:

    Allah is our objective

    The Prophet is our leader

    The Quran is our law

    Jihad is our way

Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope

One central mission of the MSA is to indoctrinate students to understand that they are not Americans. They are Muslims, and their loyalty is to the Ummah. Not to America. Recall that Obama’s bestest buddy among national leaders is Recep Erdogan, who stated flatly that expecting Muslims to assimilate into Western society is a crime against humanity. Which, conveniently enough, is the mission of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs. Essentially the foreign affairs arm of the Saudi government’s Ministry of Religous affairs, the goal of the IMMA is to prevent Muslims living in non-Muslim majority countries from assimilating. They are to remain a separate and distinct, unassimilable population.

Again, just look at current events in Europe. The vast majority of the “refugees” currently conquering Europe are not at all shy about saying they are not there to become Germans or Swedes. Rather than being willing to adapt to their new countries, they expect those countries to change to suit them.

I’m getting a little far afield, I know, but I’ll get back to the Obama admin’s MB ties in a second. It’s pathetic how European countries are publishing pamphlets with cartoons that are supposed to teach the “refugees” not to rape the blonde chicks or crap in the public swimming pools or rip of the blonde chicks’ bikinis.

They know that stuff isn’t ok. In their own countries they’d get killed if they do that. We were recently treated to a spectacle in Sweden where judge halted the deportation of a Somali who had committed multiple rapes. Why? Because if the Swedish government sent him back to Somalia he would be killed. Because he had raped Somali women, and in Muslim countries that is the kind of thing that sets a family, clan, and tribe out for blood. So, bizarrely, a rapist’s rapes get him asylum in a country where he can rape without worrying if he’ll be killed or even imprisoned for very long.

But to get back to MB agents such as Alhassani and Abedin, we need to know just how far this administration has cooperated with them to betray the country. Again, the investigation would have to start with with Benghazi but it doesn’t end there.

I think the only way we’ll find out if there’s a Cruz presidency. As Donald Trump, the establishment candidate who is eager to cut deals with Pelosi, Reid, and Schumer, if fond of pointing out, none of the Senators who work with him like him. I have an intuition the sentiment is mutual. He could launch an internal investigation to find out how far this rot has spread. I have no doubt it spreads beyond the Obama investigation, undoubtedly it includes McCain and Graham as well. Gowdy and his Benghazi committee aren’t going to get to the bottom of anything because he and the others on his committee (not just the Democrats) don’t want to.

Benghazi is a big deal all by itself, James Shearer. Crimes must have been committed, as we are looking at dereliction on a massive scale at the very least. But it isn’t the biggest fish to fry. We are talking about betrayal on a galactic scale.

All the pieces of the puzzle are strewn across the floor right in front of us. All the facts are hiding in plain sight. We just need to put the puzzle together.

Of course, even acknowledging that there are puzzle pieces littering the floor gets you howls about racism, bigotry, Islamophobia, blah, blah, blah, from the left. Who are betraying the country.

    Steve57 (5891a6)

  33. While this administraion is denying Jews security clearances simply for having family in Israel, and therefore are suspected of “divided loyalties” (until this administration gets embarrassed and reverses itself)…

US Jewish dentist wins appeal against military

US army slammed after turning away Jewish dentist for having family in Israel
US Defense Department: Navy security clearance does not discriminate against Jews

Dentist had initially been denied clearance because of his weekly phone contact with his mother and brother in Israel…

    http://www.jpost.com/Diaspora/American-Jewish-group-urges-US-army-to-stop-denying-security-clearances-due-to-Israel-ties-437795

…The practice, which the AJC describes as disturbing and discriminatory, resurfaced last week when a retired dentist from Brooklyn, Dr. Gershon Pincus, who had initially received a recommendation approving the necessary clearance to work at a naval clinic in Saratoga Springs, New York, was denied his clearance because his mother and siblings live in Israel.

…Since President Barack Obama took office, there have been 58 similar cases, in which Israeli ties were a significant factor in the decision to deny security clearance, the Wall Street Journal reported.

…how the h3ll do Alhassani and Abedin get security clearances? Michelle Bachmann and a few other conservative congresscritters sent a letter to Obama wanting an answer to that question. She and the others were denounced by the administration as racists and bigots who were trying to smear Abedin with “guilt by association.”

Let’s examine some of the multitudinous ways this is BS.

First, we’re not talking about a trial. Simply having foreign ties is enough to deny someone a clearance depending on the nature of those ties. It’s over the top to deny someone a clearance because they call their mother and siblings in Israel (unless you hate Israel as much as Prom Queen, I suppose). I almost lost my clearance when I became a defense contractor working on an Air Force contract. The Air Force had a conniption fit because I didn’t report all my foreign contacts in my SSBI.

Why hadn’t I reported them? Because I was stationed in Japan, that’s why. NCIS told me not to report them, because if ever sailor stationed in Japan reported all their foreign contacts they’d be so tied down with the paperwork they’d never have time to do anything else. NCIS told me which contacts I needed to report, and which ones I should just shut up about like my rugby teemmates and my bartender and/or waitress.

But when the responsibility for overseeing my clearance transferred from the USN to the USAF, AFOSI got its panties in a wad over the fact I hadn’t listed my rugby teammates, bartender, etc. They thought was trying to hide something. I got it straightened out eventually, but they were really upset about it for a while because, I suppose, they had never left Alabama or whatever and didn’t realize that when your country calls you to live in a foreign country for what turned into a cumulative total of 7 years you’re going too meet too many no-s*** foreigners to count let alone list.

But the problem isn’t just that they have far more questionable foreign ties than the ones that initially and ridiculously disqualified Dr. Pincus from getting a security clearance. It’s also the nature of those ties. With Abedin, at least, and her family ties in Saudi Arabia we aren’t talking average Saudis and rugby players. These people were and are leaders in some pretty vile Islamic supremacist organizations. Saleha Abedin, Huma’s mother, is a member of the MB’s lady’s auxiliary. Or was; since Saudi Arabia joined several other countries and designated the MB a terrorist organization (and last week the House Judiciary Committed passed a bill doing the same but I thoroughly expect the Traitor-in-Chief to veto it) Saleha may have let her subscription lapse.

Then there are both Alhassani and Abedin’s associations here in the US. Even without the well-deserved terrorist designation simply being a member of the MB (no more beating around the bush; the MSA and the other unindicted coconspirators are not independent of the MB) which is hostile to and seeks the overthrow of the US would be disqualifying. Further, Abedin was on the editorial board of the journal of the Saudi government’s IMMA which would make her an agent of a foreign power. Clearly an unregistered agent, which is many times more damning than the fact I didn’t report my rugby and bartender contacts in Japan (again because NCIS didn’t want to hear about them). And while on the editorial board of the JMMA she worked cheek by jowl with IMMA founder and leading Al Qaeda financier Abdullah Omar Naseef. Who is currently on the lam.

If I or any ordinary person had one tenth the ties to the Irish Republican Army and their front groups there’s no way we’d be getting a security clearance. For Tiger Beat to be giving these people security clearances and putting them in policy making/influencing positions is as bad as if Nixon, Ford, and Carter were hiring Vladimir Putin’s close relatives as national security advisers during the Cold War.

  34. It is as described in Lewis’ The Last Battle
lies so obvious they are believed

It is hard to believe we are being undermined by Islamists, just as it is hard to believe we are being taken over by Alinskyites.

As said before, when people turn from the truth of the Living God,
    and think themselves wise,
    they become fools.

We are a nation of fools, bickering largely over which fool we will follow into destruction,
with talking heads by the score thinking they are clever and important.

About the only people I have seen recently that make much sense is a group on Fox called “The Insiders”, Pat Caddell understands the people are po’ed and for good reason, that the Dems are a bunch of disingenuous hypocrites, and that it is all a mess.
They all agree that we have no idea what is going to shake out, no idea even how many people will be major contenders in the general, let alone who the will be.
