Democrats Get Fact-Checked
When Bernie Sanders says the US has more income inequality than any other country, when actually it’s #42 on that list, is he lying, or is he ignorant? When Hillary says she “hoped” the TPP would be the “gold standard” for such agreements, when actually she said it *was*, is she lying, or is her memory failing her? People that old commonly do have memory problems, but these two always “err” in the direction that helps their case.
Hmmm. The fact-check he cites is here. I didn’t watch the debate, so I’m sure this “fact-check” left several howlers uncorrected. Any that you guys noticed?

Would it be too much to ask Sen. Sanders why he and his wife chose to honeymoon in the Soviet Union, what his impressions were of the communist country, and if he now regrets that decision? Can you imagine how the media would tsk-tsk if a Republican had honeymooned in Franco’s Spain or Pinochet’s Chile?
JVW (ba78f9) — 10/14/2015 @ 9:31 amI was flipping over from the baseball game during commercials, but at one point I did hear Martin O’Malley yammer on about how his allegedly outstanding mayoralty reduced crime in Baltimore by X percent. It would be interesting to compare the drop in crime in Baltimore to the overall drop in the crime rate in the 1990s and 200s, and compare them to cities like New York which had a significant drop in crime rate thanks largely to aggressive policing. One might also point out that Baltimore’s population dropped by 100,000 residents between 1990 and 2000, and O’Malley became mayor when Baltimore was at the lowest population since World War I. We should find out if O’Malley’s crime statistics are based upon total incidents or incidents per 100,000 citizens.
