It’s The Only Solution: Put Men In Prison For The Sake Of World Peace And Happiness

So listen, guys, you already know by now that in some corners, the heterosexual male is largely on a par with mud, right? Sure, you may be essential to the continuation of the human race, but that’s just an unfortunate glitch in the system.

In an interview at RadFem, “outspoken journalist, tireless radical feminist activist, political lesbian,” and prison advocate, Julie Bindel, offers her thoughts on the ongoing vexing problem of heterosexual males:

Will heterosexuality survive women’s liberation?

It won’t, not unless men get their act together, have their power taken from them and behave themselves. I mean, I would actually put them all in some kind of camp where they can all drive around in quad bikes, or bicycles, or white vans. I would give them a choice of vehicles to drive around with, give them no porn, they wouldn’t be able to fight – we would have wardens, of course! Women who want to see their sons or male loved ones would be able to go and visit, or take them out like a library book, and then bring them back.

I hope heterosexuality doesn’t survive, actually. I would like to see a truce on heterosexuality. I would like an amnesty on heterosexuality until we have sorted ourselves out. Because under patriarchy it’s shit.

And I am sick of hearing from individual women that their men are all right. Those men have been shored up by the advantages of patriarchy and they are complacent, they are not stopping other men from being shit.

I would love to see a women’s liberation that results in women turning away from men and saying: “when you come back as human beings, then we might look again.”

Bindel also wants to see the entire construct of gender dismantled and hopes that at some point in the future, gender goes the way of the Flat Earth theory – laughable “that we actually believed it was a tangible thing.”

With that, Vanderbilt University is also concerned about the pervasive problem of being male and the importance of getting them while they’re young. As such, Healthy Masculinities Week 2015 will confront that disgusting reminder of all things male: masculinity. The forum will look at masculinity through various lenses of American society, including the gay and bisexual community and fraternities.

The first event as part of the “Healthy Masculinities Week” is called, “The Macho Paradox: Why some men hurt and how all men can help.” The title is a reference to a book by Jackson Katz, who is a self-proclaimed “anti-sexist activist” and the speaker for the event.

Other events as part of “Healthy Masculinities Week” include “Maintaining ‘Bro’ Status: Fraternity men discuss masculinity and mental health,” “Masc 4 Masc: Policing masculinity in the gay and bi communities,” “Masculinity XXL? The portrayal of manhood in Magic Mike,” and a screening and discussion of the film, “The Mask You Live In.”

The advertisement for “Healthy Masculinities Week,” which was emailed to members of the student body, includes a portrayal man with a thought bubble, thinking, “Don’t cry,” “Have sex,” “Major in business,” “Play sports,” and “Man up.” Allegedly, these are examples of unhealthy masculinity.

Men, face it, you are simply unacceptable the way you are. You have no understanding of how your heterosexual masculinity threatens world peace and happiness. It’s painfully clear that you need policing. After all, women will never be the happy creatures they deserve to be until you have been sufficiently beaten down, shamed and repressed, enough so that you ultimately end up denying the natural disposition and hard-wiring of your gender and finally resemble, well, women. And then, we can all be miserable together.
