Cowardly Democrats: We’ll Give Planned Parenthood Money For Super Important Things Like Obamacare, But We Won’t Watch Those Nasty Videos

[guest post by Dana]

How concerned is this administration about the barbaric treatment and suffering of babies in Planned Parenthood’s butcheries? Need you ask? Perhaps the better question would be, how much does this administration support the barbaric treatment and suffering of babies in Planned Parenthood’s butcheries? Answer: a whole lot.

The Obama administration announced more than $1 million in grants Wednesday to Planned Parenthood, banking on the women’s health care provider to help sell Obamacare to patients and defying congressional Republicans battling to end all public funding for the organization.

Planned Parenthood chapters in Iowa, Missouri and Montana were among 100 recipients of “navigator” grants, which pay nonprofit groups to provide in-person help to people trying to sign up for coverage under Medicare or the health insurance exchanges set up under Obamacare.

Republicans blasted the funding, saying it was a particular affront at a time when Planned Parenthood is facing intense questions over its practices involving the handling and sale of fetal tissue. A series of videos released by the Center for Medical Progress appear to show Planned Parenthood officials haggling over prices and discussing abortion techniques designed to preserve the most fetal tissue possible.

Democrats, from the president down, remain frightened of the awful truth. While they continue to huff and puff with faux indignation and accuse the Center for Medical Progress and Republicans of deceptive and malicious attacks harming women’s access to healthcare, they reveal themselves as small, spineless creatures. What else to call those who condemn, in the strongest of terms, that which they haven’t yet seen because they are too afraid of what it might reveal, and not just about Planned Parenthood, but about their own hearts as well?

  1. Hello.

  2. if they’re announcing new grant monies for planned parenthood do they really seem all that frightened to you?

at the end of the day there’s tons of people what go to planned parenthood all the time

my friend k went to the burbank one

it was kind’ve above a greek restaurant i’d go to sometimes

i can’t remember if it lined up exactly

it was one of those congested socal strip malls with a lot going on

but k, he had something wrong with his stuff and they fixed it

and then he got a job at American Apparel

  3. I’m not talking about being frightened of what the Republicans might think about them giving PP money, or even what the public thinks. Clearly, they don’t give a damn. Even moreso, they’ll gladly give anyone supporting the defunding of PP and efforts to protect life the middle finger. They don’t care. However, I’m talking about individual fear with regard to the heart and soul. I think there is, at some deeper level, a fear to allow the truth in, or at least to see that which might challenge their long-held beliefs, and fear in possibly having that dismantled or at the least, disrupted.

    Dana (86e864)

  4. well i hope they defund it

    defund that darn planned parenthood

and then i hope they put their new-found defunding powers to use on some stuff what will really make a difference

  5. There is a sea change ing on in the country about abortion. I am poor-choice but I think we will see a lot of support for a 20 week limit on abortion. That is the law in Europe.

  6. Auto correct is the devil. “A sea change” and “Pro-choice “

  7. Dana – Happyfeet doesn’t give a shlt what they do, because freedom. And fetal tissue research. It is not a position he reasoned himself into, so the facts will never dissuade him.

Obama is giving Team R, and especially Mitch Mc, a very public middle finger. What does Planned Parenthood provide that isn’t in ObamaCare?

  8. As Mark Steyn pointed out:

In fact, as I pointed out on the air, they [Planned Parenthood] perform a third of a million abortions a year, which is as many as France, Germany and Canada combined.

And, putting aside whether one is “pro-life” or “pro-choice”, the nature of the abortions in those other countries is different: again, as I told Sean, in France abortion is legal up to 12 weeks; Italy, 13 weeks; Norway, 18 weeks, but it requires the approval of a government commission. Nowhere else in the western world takes 39-week-old “fetuses”, delivers them sufficiently to preserve the commercially valuable parts and then crushes the non-sellable parts in order to preserve a technical denial of infanticide. That is a uniquely American evil, and Americans should be utterly ashamed of it. American liberals ought to understand that in far more left-wing societies (Scandinavia, the Netherlands, France) they do not do this – because it’s not a left/right thing, it’s a good/bad thing, and Planned Parenthood’s abortion-industrial complex is on the wrong side of that divide.

  9. If the Democrats did not think this is a winning strategy, they would not be doing it.

  10. i agree with the 20-22 week compromise

    but fanatics never compromise

  11. We know know that Obama is pro-infanticide, one of the few things he did not vote “present” for in Ill.
We know what he thinks of people who decline to pay homage to his greatness and enlightenment.
I do not expect any public figure with a D after their name to give two hoots, they’ve already sold their souls.

Put it does highlight the fecklessness of Congressional repub leadership and the complicity of much of the public.

  12. The cutoff periods are arbitrary. Abortion is indiscriminate killing. Pro-choice doctrine is a denial of human evolution. The physical process, not the “secular” faith.

  13. I suspect if they were to watch the videos it would crack open a door they prefer remain solidly shut.

    Dana (86e864)

  14. Pro-choice “religious” doctrine is designed to protect individuals from suffering cognitive dissonance when their logic is not internally, externally, and mutually consistent. It’s a doctrine that permits users to avoid reconciling personal, group, and natural conflicts. The latest application of pro-choice doctrine is evident not only in the selective-child policy, and the related barbarity, but also the [selective] congruence mandate of “equal” upheld by The Supreme Court and President. They can select their principles at will in order to avoid mental distress. It’s effective and enables them to “reconcile” diametrically opposed positions, including the human rights violations of indiscriminate killing, harvesting, and trafficking by Planned Parenthood and abortion industry.

    n.n (60df76)

  15. We know know that Obama is pro-infanticide,

That was apparent in the negative way he dealt with, as state legislator, a law to forbid late-term abortions in Illinois. So combining that with all the disgusting feedback coming out about PP in the past few weeks — and which he most certainly is fully aware of — and his now wanting to further inflame the situation by giving that organization even more money, makes him truly the most despicable, contemptible person to ever occupy the White House.

If women insist on having late-term abortions no matter what, too bad Obama’s mother wasn’t among them back in 1961.

    Mark (dc566c)

  16. “defying congressional Republicans battling to end all public funding for the organization.”

Really? I was kind of under the impression that the GOP had pretty much already surrendered. On this an just about everything else. Instead of the Grand Old Party maybe we should just call them the GUP – the Give Up Party.

    Stephen Macklin (a75731)

  17. What the Republicans need to point out is that, under the Obysmalcare law, everyone has to have health insurance, and everyone’s health insurance has to cover contraception, with zero required co-payments, so there’s no need for Planned Parenthood to receive subsidies; everyone has to have the insurance to pay for their “services.”

    Perhaps so,
but I think you underestimate the wickedness of the hardened human heart.
Pilate tried to release Jesus, but the crowd grew more and more agitated, demanding that he be crucified, even taking an oath, “Let his blood be on us and our children”.

Once the sinful human heart has been aligned with the malevolence of evil itself, it is very ugly and is on the path to becoming something so ugly it can no longer be recognized as human.

  19. Once the sinful human heart has been aligned with the malevolence of evil itself, it is very ugly and is on the path to becoming something so ugly it can no longer be recognized as human.

Absolutely. That quote not only applies to those who commit the human butchery acts, but those who support the acts and excuse them as “science”. Those people are not even human anymore. And yes, I am directly referring to the infantile barbarous inhuman one on here defending the indefensible.

  20. The Democrats know the truth. Like our own resident Moloch worshiper, they just don’t care.

  23. The left revels arrogantly in the knowledge that Boehner, McConnell, and the rest of.the elitist GOP “leadership” will do nothing to stop leftist malfeasance.

Just remember the next time you go into a voting booth that any vote for a democrat is a vote of agreement in the murder of humans in the fetal life cycle. Voting for any democrat, or any RINO like Boehner or McConnell for that matter, is equivalent to you holding the scalpel, suction device, or syringe of chemicals that the butchers of PP use to kill a fetal human.

    That’s the bottom line.

    Pete (0e517b)

  24. thank you for the bottom line Dr. Pete

    happyfeet (831175)

  25. Pete:

It is legitimate to judge a class of people on principle, and individuals on their demonstrated corruption. The Democrats are uniformly condemned by their religious/moral pro-choice doctrine that denigrates individual dignity and debases human life. Republicans and others must indeed be judged by their individual behaviors.

  26. if america invaded a country and conquered it and started doing to the women there what planned parenthood does to women here it would be called and atrocity…it would be called a war crime…it would be called crimes against humanity…there would be trials in europe
