Hillary Is Feeling Pretty Optimistic About Her Future

Filed under: General — Dana @ 6:11 pm

[guest post by Dana]

Clearly, none of Hillary’s endless scandals have her the least bit concerned about her electability or her future:

“I hope that at the end of my two terms as president, I will have overseen an even bigger peacetime expansion of the economy than my husband did,” Clinton said, according to Time.

“He had the biggest peacetime expansion in our history.”

Hillary: I deserve this. And more!

  1. Personally, if I were Hillary, I would make a concerted effort to always avoid referring to Bill and his biggest expansion in history… But that’s just me.

  2. They always forget to mention most of the decent decisions were forced upon him by a Republican congress. It grew despite him, not because of.

  3. Why wouldn’t she? Republicans are nazi racists like the donald. Polls do not show the 2,000,000 more minority kids that will have turned 18 and will register for 2016 election and they have ids! or the 400.000 old white fart republicans who will have died! Mrs President get used to it!

  4. I am reading Tom Clancy’s novel “The Sum of All Fears” to get ready. His characters of the President and the National Security Advisor were pretty obviously modeled on the Clintons. I think the scenario of a terrorist nuclear explosion is more likely than it has ever been in our history. I read this years ago and it seems quite up to date with Hillary running.

  5. Hillary! Clinton shouldn’t be running for dogcatcher, let alone POTUS. She’s a malevolent, mendacious, duplicitous, power-mad old shrew.

    Colonel Haiku (2601c0)

  6. She should be running. For her life! Amirite?

    Gazzer (be559b)

  7. I disagree, Colonel. Hillary would make a great dogcatcher. After all, it takes one to know one.

  8. yes, while looking left and then right and then left and then right and then left and then right…

  9. My heart fills with joy every time I read a post like #3 above by Perry. The complete unhinged insanity of the rant, coupled with the blatant statistical lies and name calling can only mean one thing: The entire democrat party is looking at an epic FAIL, and I love it. They are becoming unhinged and quite obviously insane. It’s so sweet to watch what Obama has done to the leftists, yes indeed, sweet! Poor ole Perry. Sitting down there in his big house in his lily white gated community in Lewes Del casting hate at every turn. What a sad, sad creature full of hate and loneliness. Since we’re supposed to be getting rid of The Bard, Perry is “full of sound and fury signifying nothing!”. Bye, bye losers.

  13. If Hillary wins, it will be the first time since Grant that a party has won the next election after a failure.

  14. Bill’s expansion was followed by a large collapse while he was still in office. The Nasdaq was at 5000 in March of 2000 and before Clinton left office is was less than half of that.

    Kevin M (25bbee)

  15. I would like to see someone sue to keep Hillary off their state’s ballot based on her being disqualified under the Emoluments Clause. She took “gifts” from foreign powers while Secretary of State. It is not a specious claim and it would be fun watching her defend it. Maybe in Florida.

    Kevin M (25bbee)

  16. Dear Hillary: why do you suppose all those Republicans are running?

  18. If Grammy wins a second term, what will she be? Like 90 or so? At least Bill should be gone about that time. He already looks like that creepy uncle that hugs your graduating daughter a bit too long.

  19. My heart fills with joy every time I read a post like #3 above by Perry.

I always wonder what people similar to him are like behind closed doors, what their true nature is all about when no one is looking.

I think of all the two-faced, crummy, hypocritical folks of the left — of areas dominated by such humans (eg, America’s violent-, crime-plagued urban areas — of sleazy Democrats like Bill and Hillary and grifters like the Obamas, and I can’t help but want to hold my nose.

  21. I wonder how many people who reflect the negative sentiments described below have enough sense to connect the dots made up of an ailing society on one hand and an unhinged liberal ideology on the other? Or the socio-political dynamics that generally characterize every screwed-up nation or city out there? If pessimists throughout this nation give so much as a second of serious consideration to a sleazeball like Hillary Clinton, and yet also believe the US is headed in the wrong direction, they really need to pull their heads out of the quicksand.

usnews.com, June 17: Americans have little confidence in most of their major institutions including Congress, the presidency, the Supreme Court, banks and organized religion, according to the latest Gallup poll.

“Americans’ confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one,” a Gallup spokesman said in a news release. Only the military, in which 72 percent of Americans express confidence, up from a historical average of 68 percent, and small business, with 67 percent confidence, up from 63, are currently rated higher than their historical norms. This is based on the percentage expressing “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in these institutions, the Gallup spokesman said.

“Americans’ confidence in most major institutions has been down for many years as the nation has dealt with prolonged wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, a major recession and sluggish economic improvement, and partisan gridlock in Washington,” the Gallup spokesman said. “In fact, 2004 was the last year most institutions were at or above their historical average levels of confidence. Perhaps not coincidentally, 2004 was also the last year Americans’ satisfaction with the way things are going in the United States averaged better than 40 percent. Currently, 28 percent of Americans are satisfied with the state of the nation.”

  22. Rumor has it that Brian Williams is being relegated to a role at MSNBC.

The fact someone like that was not immediately terminated but instead may now be allowed to loiter around to his heart’s content, and, most crucially, would have been fired pronto if he had said something politically incorrect (ie, had been painfully honest), is why this nation is traveling down that road paved with “good” intentions.

    Mark (a11af2)

  23. The condition of this country in 5 years is going to be devastating. No matter what moron becomes president. The people of this once great nation are an embarrassment to the soldiers who have did their best to keep us safe. Citizens should have burned d.c. to the ground. We are a hell hole with the worst people of the world skipping across are borders whistling dixie.

  26. Proof that LIBTARDS are SOCIOPATHS.
As the 4 Americans in their coffins, are returned to Andrews. (not Dover), Rodham CACKLES and BULLSHIPS in true LIB/MARXIST style.. that…….”WE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT VIDEO”. It is truly STUNNING what a fuxing LIBTARD will do for power and control. ZERO MORALS, ZERO SHAME and ZERO CHARACTER. 4 DEAD AMERICANS….dead because she FUXED up and couldn’t care less. And she LIES ABOUT IT as they lie dead in a hangar at Andrews. WHAT KIND OF WORTHLESS F-WAD would back her????

  28. I always wonder what people similar to him are like behind closed doors, what their true nature is all about when no one is looking.

And that’s just it, Mark. people like Perry percolate hate. They seethe with vile envy, greed and lust over anything and everything that is had by others. He called Republicans and Trump Nazis. Only a moron doesn’t know Nazis were National Socialists. So only a moron would say something as dumbass as Republicans and Trump are Nazis when a two year old knows they’re capitalists. How dumb at projecting can one be?

I think of all the two-faced, crummy, hypocritical folks of the left — of areas dominated by such humans (eg, America’s violent-, crime-plagued urban areas — of sleazy Democrats like Bill and Hillary and grifters like the Obamas, and I can’t help but want to hold my nose.

Unffortunately , Mark, that’s what the once great Democrat party has devolved into. It’s become a sewer of special interests none of which is interested in the betterment of the United States. Can you name just one Democrat who stands up for Patriotism? God? Country? Family? Can you name one democrat who will tell people to get off the dole and go to work? Can you name one democrat, including Perry, who you would be comfortable with babysitting your daughter, teaching your son, running your business or knowing anything personal about you?

That’s what they’re like behind closed doors, Mark. That is their nature. Disgusting isn’t it?

  29. Clearly, none of Hillary’s endless scandals have her the least bit concerned about her electability or her future.

Why should her epic failures and constant scandals concern her? She has a “re-set” button.

  30. Biggest expansion in peacetime history…the jokes, they write themselves.

  31. As I believe I’ve mentioned before, Shrillary’s best chance is for Bill to be assassinated shortly before election day, garnering her a substantial sympathy vote. If I were Bill, I would be living in a bunker and employing a food taster.

    C. S. P. Schofield (a196fd)

  32. The change is we have roughly half of the electorate really believe they can get something for nothing. Not sure how you change that, but it gets no better if you allow illegals to tip the scale even more. And sadly the GOP for the msot part does not graps this.

And government at all levels and within all parties ultimately view itself as DOING SOMETHING. There is no constituency for the word NO.

    $18 trillion and counting.

    Bugg (bd9445)

  33. Using hyperbole to make a point, not insult,
my daughter’s pet rat, though long moldering in the grave,
could have overseen the economic expansion in the 90’s being the dictator having abolished Congress,
    even while being dead.
The computer industry expansion/explosion, no cold war, no significant (in size) hot wars, no climate change fears and less EPA dominance than now, not only her dead rat, but I, even I, could have overseen it, by going fishing more often than Obama golfs,
    by an order of magnitude.

But as far as the likelihood of Hillary becoming president…
as mark and others have pointed out before,
in some ways President Obama has not been the problem, it is a public willing to elect him, twice even, though there was no reason, other than affirmative action, for him to get anywhere near the White House,

so, no matter how unfit and unqualified for the job, I am not betting against her.
