All of #GruberGate in Two Minutes
[guest post by Dana]
Gruber seems a bit chipper in the clips, doesn’t he? Maybe it’s the happiness that comes from finally being able to reveal to the world just how clever and smart one really is.

Hello.
Dana (8e74ce) — 11/18/2014 @ 9:14 pmPelosi was very clear and concise in that video. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t believe her after that. Oh, and if you didn’t notice, I just Grubered you.
John Hitchcock (e1335e) — 11/18/2014 @ 9:51 pmOne of the most trusted economists in the entire world, Reid? How about a virtual unknown until all this Grubering? And definitely not very trusted now that he has those tire prints on his suit coat.
John Hitchcock (e1335e) — 11/18/2014 @ 9:54 pmGruber is just a slob doing his work. He went to college, learned his job and listened to management to get ahead.
Some slobs fix cars or repair your roof or build skyscrapers or send their children to war to defend a great nation. Most slobs do things for the right reasons. They want to build something for future generations. They want their kids to not be slobs.
Then, you have slobs such as Gruber, Reid or Pelosi who have no idea they are slobs because they are elected or tenured or entitled.
I prefer working slobs to self-entitled elitist slobs.
Ag80 (eb6ffa) — 11/18/2014 @ 10:25 pmWhat do you mean, ‘finally being able to reveal’? The earliest video is from 2009. He wasted no time at all bragging about it, the thing hadn’t even passed the final congressional test yet.
Virtually all except the interview are from academic conferences. Gruber wasn’t even afraid of video, he knew only liberal academics would watch hours of boring conference streaming.
One fellow found one and actually watched it, and then searched for and watched the rest to find these things. ‘Doing the job American journalists won’t do.’
Estragon (ada867) — 11/18/2014 @ 11:52 pm“just how clever and smart one really is.”
Only assuming it is clever to shout to the world that he deceived all the Democratic voters including the MSM. No Conservatives were Grubered, net even RINOs. The MSM will have to admit that they were either stupid or they deceived their readers.
jorgen (6d8963) — 11/18/2014 @ 11:54 pmthis story appears to be worrying the usual suspects in the MFM
and that’s a good thing.
redc1c4 (cf3b04) — 11/19/2014 @ 1:17 amTop of the morning to you, Dana.
mg (31009b) — 11/19/2014 @ 3:01 amShut the democrats and govt. down for two years.
When will these brain dead zero Idea journalists stop tacking
Gate on the back of a name for every scandal that comes along?
It’s been 50 years now. Give it a rest. It just shows a complete
lack of intelligence to keep using the same formula over and over
for any type of scandal large or small.
(not in ref to you Dana)
jakee308 (d409c2) — 11/19/2014 @ 3:41 amMaybe Gruberquiddick ?
elissa (6f97fe) — 11/19/2014 @ 4:40 amThe Lawrence O’Donnell cameo was an especially nice touch. As was the smirky proud-to-be-an- insider Gruber divulging his recollection of a “relaxed” Obama taking a smoking break during their WH Obamacare meeting.
elissa (6f97fe) — 11/19/2014 @ 5:17 am#5 & #6,
Assume I was being very sarcastic with my comment. I think Gruber has been smugly pleased with himself all along. Even when he mentions the president going out for a smoke, he’s very pleased with himself. And even though he’s been exposed, been thrown under the bus, and his name is forever going to be linked with this, I seriously doubt if he has enough self-awareness to grasp that he is no longer the big deal he has always believed himself to be.
Dana (8e74ce) — 11/19/2014 @ 5:40 amhe got rich though off the obamacares
he probably gets his groceries from peapod now
rich bastard
happyfeet (a037ad) — 11/19/2014 @ 5:54 amSooner or later I should think MIT is going to have to say something or issue a public statement on the Gruber mess. If the university has already done so I have missed it. How can students and parents of students taught by Gruber not be storming the gates over this? How can its alums not be angry and embarrassed that Gruber has brought MIT’s integrity into disrepute? Despite its location in the people’s republic of Massachusetts, MIT is primarily a respected applied science, engineering and technology research school and has not been known for faculty partisanship or as a hotbed of political activism.
elissa (082b3b) — 11/19/2014 @ 6:00 am10. elissa (6f97fe) — 11/19/2014 @ 4:40 am
Not even that one is 50 years.
That happend at the time of first Apollo moon landing and the “soccer war” between El Salvador and Honduras. 45 years and 4 months ago.
The Watergate burglary was 42 years, 5 months, and 2 days ago. Well, 1 1/2 days.
Sammy Finkelman (a248bd) — 11/19/2014 @ 6:30 amGruber was directing his comments toward people who might be involved, or asked to be involved, in similar things themselves, or who at least might hear about it more personally. And trying to justify it so they wouldn’t despise him.
Sammy Finkelman (a248bd) — 11/19/2014 @ 6:32 amNot surprising, U of Rhode Island and U of Pennsylvania have taken down Gruber videos.
Dana (8e74ce) — 11/19/2014 @ 6:34 amelissa,
Imagine if Gruber had been a consultant to a Republican administration and done this. It would be students leading the charge to have him removed from his position. There would be petitions, walk-outs, etc. The outcry would be deafening.
Dana (8e74ce) — 11/19/2014 @ 6:43 amhe’s almost as rich as Elizabeth Warren even
all thanks to obamacare!
i bet he’s got a hypoallergenic dog like obama
rich people are very selective about such things
happyfeet (a037ad) — 11/19/2014 @ 6:54 amHey, happyfeet! I get my groceries through Peapod. That’s one hell of a great service especially for an old fart like me with COPD who doesn’t want to walk the isles of Giant like a zombie in my elastic sweat pants huffin’ and puffin’ on my inhaler. I give the guy a $5 tip and he puts it all upstairs on the kitchen table. Then if I ignore it long enough, Mrs. Hoagie gets pissed and puts it all away for me. See? It’s win-win.

narciso (ee1f88) — 11/19/2014 @ 10:46 amGuess what?
President Obama is going to make all of this Gruber stuff go away
when he announces his plan to legalize millions of illegals
and once they are here legally,
“we” will then fly their children free to the US
– http://dailycaller.com/2014/11/14/state-department-announces-new-refugee-program-for-central-american-children/
And then there will be Ferguson
Guber? Goober? Grubber?
MD in Philly (f9371b) — 11/19/2014 @ 11:15 amWho are you talking about?
Thursday night. Presidential address in prime time. Immigration.
elissa (1ca850) — 11/19/2014 @ 11:19 amelissa, do you think he thinks/knows that the Ferguson grand jury report is coming out Friday??
MD in Philly (f9371b) — 11/19/2014 @ 11:22 amI see a fin in the water, and he’s ramping up the skis:

narciso (ee1f88) — 11/19/2014 @ 11:32 am#14: Elissa, my donations have been both modest and designated for the mens volleyball team. And this year I did scrawl something about Gruber and suggested that the rot started in the 70’s. The students are still absolutely fabulous. The faculty decided in the late 60’s that the prominence that MIT achieved in WWII was an embarrassment and they’ve been sliding into disrepute ever since. They began chasing politically correct government funding and grew the campus. My impression is that there are a lot of overhead issues that fall largely on the engineering departments who are required to support a lot dead weight in the other disciplines. The contrast between Caltech and MIT (11,200 students) is very striking, and although Caltech has grown very much beyond it’s 1970s boundaries, it still is fairly small, 2200 students.
bobathome (5ccbd8) — 11/19/2014 @ 11:57 amRe: Ferguson
Why are they delaying the release of the grand jury report?
Do they expect the extremely cold weather to last forever?
Sammy Finkelman (d22d64) — 11/19/2014 @ 12:29 pm24. elissa (1ca850) — 11/19/2014 @ 11:19 am
That makes sense.
Earlier (last week) the date of November 21 was leaked.
Republican in Congress keep on or kept on saying they hoped he wouldn’t do it.
Sammy Finkelman (d22d64) — 11/19/2014 @ 12:31 pmsome more of Gruber and his relationship with Pres Barak,
