Silly Debbie: Let’s Show Everyone We’re Afraid Of Scott Walker
[guest post by Dana]
Nobody self-humiliates more than the ninnies on the front lines of the War on Women. Offending women everywhere.
“Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand,” said Wasserman Schultz, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I know that is stark. I know that is direct, but that is reality.”
“What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back,” she added. “It is not going to happen on our watch.”
Stop shaming the gender!
–Dana
Update: In a fun little bit of irony, I found this:
In a fundraising email to her ‘peeps,’ Wasserman Schultz says that Republicans impeachment strategy “is the height of crass” and “partisan cynicism.”
Wasserman Schultz adds that the GOP knows that Obama “hasn’t committed high crimes and misdemeanors,” and this is just a ploy by them to “distract voters from their radical agenda.”
Speaking of Walker, did you see this:
http://legalinsurrection.com/2014/09/exposed-how-prosecutors-targeted-scott-walker-and-conservatives/
And I left a note to you, Dana, on last night’s thread.
MD in Philly (f9371b) — 9/3/2014 @ 8:37 pmThe thing to do with Debbie Poodleman Shultz is to give her all the leash she yelps for, as she has a tendency to hang herself.
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 9/3/2014 @ 9:01 pmshe’s obviously been spending too much time at Brazzers.com, but then again, with her looks & personality, it’s likely the only sex life she has.
redc1c4 (abd49e) — 9/3/2014 @ 9:23 pmPS: do NOT go to Brazzers.com unless you really want hardcore (and i do mean HARDCORE) pron of the basest source.
which is why it *isn’t* a link in either poast
redc1c4 (abd49e) — 9/3/2014 @ 9:24 pmThe sad thing is this type of nonsense works with a segment of the low info woman voter. As for DWS, will somebody remind her that Radical Islam will gladly show her what a real War On Women looks like.
Funeral Guy (afbf7b) — 9/3/2014 @ 9:37 pmAt least Todd Akin made sense.
Kevin M (b357ee) — 9/3/2014 @ 10:02 pmThey are right to fear him. So are the GOP contenders. He’s everything Chris Christie pretends to be when it comes to standing up to special interests. He’s got the political skills and the executive experience.
Dustin (7f67e8) — 9/3/2014 @ 10:24 pmThe gender warriors get mad if you call a woman by an epithet that is traditionally reserved for females, and they also complain if you use one that is often targeted to effeminate men. So, in the interests of total gender equality, I am going to use a term for DWS that is traditionally used to describe men like Hairy Reed, just to show that I am a very progressive and open-minded moden guy:
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is an asshole.
JVW (638245) — 9/3/2014 @ 10:27 pm7. Walker would be a temptation, but Cruz is more likely, FWIW.
gary gulrud (46ca75) — 9/3/2014 @ 11:14 pmMy recollection is that Debbie told the troops not to worry and promised that Dems nationwide would be running on the wonderfulness of Obamacare in 2014. Looks like their plan B strategy was not very well thought out.

redc1c4 (abd49e) — 9/3/2014 @ 11:55 pmI pity the poor bastard that married her.
mg (31009b) — 9/4/2014 @ 1:17 amShe accused him of back handing women based on what? Imagine if she were a Rep, how the media would react to such idiocy.
JD (dc108d) — 9/4/2014 @ 4:40 amShe is a woman, so there’s only so much sense you can expect from her. She is more likely to fool men, some men (maybe better say “males”), than other women. They know their own breed.
nk (dbc370) — 9/4/2014 @ 5:43 amOne of the problems in our current political system—and it has happened before of course, but I think social media makes worse—is the “echo chamber effect.”
If you only talk to people like yourself, your disdain for others with whom you disagree increases. Exponentially. You don’t see the Others as as intelligent and well-meaning people, then you don’t see them as good, and eventually you see them as not just wrong, but Evil.
And Evil people get what they deserve.
Add to this the narcissism that is prevalent in our culture, and the cycle is more swift and severe.
“If I am a Good person, then people who disagree with me must be Bad. The only reason for disagreeing with me is venal, petty, and mean-spirited…and Evil.”
The name calling, pettiness, and dishonesty loses its label of “incivility,” and increases like a positive feedback loop.
The result will be people like DWS.
Heck, who knows what she believes anymore? Right now, she is like a VW microbus covered with political bumper stickers.
Simon Jester (d57fb0) — 9/4/2014 @ 5:51 amThank goodness for Happyfeet – this place will never be an echo chamber. But more of a place to bang your head against a wall.
so be sure to buy Happyfeet brand cement. It’s harder than truth.

Debbie made these statements in MIAMI. Not Milwaukee or Madison but in

So what does that tell you? They are afraid of Scott Walker generating
National popularity thru his success against the unions as a Governor.
And also his winning on so many fronts their consequent attack on his
Governorship and his supporters.
They’re afraid of this man for a good reason; He fights.

MD in Philly (f9371b) — 9/4/2014 @ 8:20 amWalker seems to have about the biggest credentials in those areas at the moment.
Well there may be one advantage to Sharia law. They’d put jerks like Debbie in a burkha and shut her up–one way or another. It would almost–but not quite–be worth.
Seriously speaking Debbie was designated by Pelosi to be a demented Democrat attack dog; once she was programmed, nobody could find the “off” switch on her.

Carlitos, you goof, DWS is NOT a woman you should feel the need to go all chivalrous and protective about. With only minor exceptions she’s getting splattered here not because she’s a woman, or because people hate women, but because she’s an idiot who deserves absolutely everything she’s getting. She is not entitled to any special pass because she happens to be a female. It’s not a War on Women here–it’s a war on Debbie Wasserman- Schultz. She’s contemptible and has proven to be a baldfaced liar time and time again. I am righteously pissed off and embarrassed that she consistently sets back the image of women as rational beings. As a society I think we should be able to comfortably criticize the head of the DNC even though she is a woman–especially when she’s the one who played the ridiculous gender card in the first place.

Oh, she knows Sammy, she knows. From the article that Dana linked:
“Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand,” said Wasserman Schultz, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I know that is stark. I know that is direct, but that is reality.”
And the very next day she tried to walk it back, so obviously the backlash has unnerved her. The article has been updated:

You are probably right, Sammy. She may know it’s nonsense. That riff on Walker sounded like the talking points of a junior juiceboxer. But Mrs. Wasserman Schultz is the chairman of the DNC and could (and should ) have said, “hell no, mofos, that’s ridiculous. I’m not going to say that in public.” But instead she rehearsed the lines and perfected her timing and then she *did* say those words in public. Now the words are all hers, for all time.

But it’s nothing like that. It’s a solid old-fashioned, manly Western. Brief glimpse of a lady’s behind, a couple of f-bombs, no more gore than strictly necessary. I’d let my daughter watch it. Maybe Ed Harris did some heavy editing? Or did Parker butch up for once? Has anybody read the book? Is it as beardless as the Spenser stories?

gary gulrud (46ca75) — 9/4/2014 @ 7:38 pmWomen have ruled men since Eve seduced Adam into disobeying God, felipe. It’s pointless to deny it; it’s just whistling past the graveyard.
nk (dbc370) — 9/4/2014 @ 7:41 pm“Stop shaming the gender!”
Dana – Off to reeducation camp you go!
Gender is just a social construct invented by the heteronormative patriarchal industrial society to oppress women.

but she quakes, like a little Dem
Sharks are smarter than we men are when it comes to tangling with them, is my opinion, Haiku.
nk (dbc370) — 9/4/2014 @ 9:20 pmBack in the Demotard primary in Wisconsin, for the pleasure of being DRUBBED by the Honorable Scott Walker..(a personal friend of mine), the Dane County (MADISON) County executive Kathleen Falktard, ran a commercial against Scott Walker. The dimbulb Lib, was running against Tom Barrett in a primary. Anyway, the radio commercial had OMINOUS DARK MUSIC and a BARITONE announcer that proclaimed….”SCOTT WALKER HAS UNLEASHED A WAR ON WYMYN”. I’ve said HERE and elsewhere for 7 years now, that The libtards have gone THE FULL COMMIE. They have CEASED to even PRETEND to be reasonable, objective, rational, or normal. The LIBTARD PARTY is a party of HATE and obsessive need to CONTROL. Scott Walker has unleashed NOTHING. The LIBTARD LEFT is just the party of GOEBBLES NOW.
Gus (70b624) — 9/4/2014 @ 9:44 pmLIE, LIE AND KEEP ON LYING BIG!!!
a man is not complete until he is married: then, he’s finished.
married men don’t live longer than single men, it just seems that way.
why do husbands die before their wives? because they can.
why do women close their eyes when they’re having sex with their male partner? they can’t stand to see him happy and enjoying himself.

daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 9/5/2014 @ 6:31 pmOnce you told a lie about a guy
then you told ’em all the time in your prime, didn’t you ?
People’d laugh, say “You made a gaffe, too clever by half”
You thought they were all kiddin’ you
You used to comb that hair
then you sat in that beauty shop chair
and you asked for “the works, whole kit ‘n caboodle”
ya found yer look: the Standard Poodle
now it’s always kibble for your next meal.
How does it feel
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 9/5/2014 @ 7:05 pmHow does it feel
To be without a bone
Like a complete unknown
with no detectable pulse
like Debbie Poodleman Schultz
how many cats, daley? this many… http://twitter.com/p_w_sterne/status/503257737799532544/photo/1
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 9/5/2014 @ 7:15 pmI think we laugh at stuff like this at our own peril. The Dems have shown they know how to push the right buttons to motivate the low info voters.
