7. His two modes are aloof persona management and attempting to impress ‘anonymous’. He thinks this makes him look cool.

   Neal’s ranting and bragging and finger pointing paranoia have never struck me as skillful, but he seems to occupy the same wavelength as a few other mentally ill psychopaths. They eat this stuff up. Weiner being framed (into confessing!), Neal and Brett being important in some spy fantasy way to the cause of the day… Oh, and the funniest part: where Neal points to those who quote Neal on his claims and laughs at how stupid it would be to believe it.

   But I don’t think this is a joke. Neal’s an associate of a domestic terrorist who set real bombs that hurt real people. This circle threatens a lot of people, just for having the wrong opinion or shining the light of truth on the wrong scumbag. I recall Ron threatening physical violence at Kimberlin’s critic while referencing a Kimberlin legal defense (the hypnotism angle).

   I recall the day after Breitbart passed that Neal was essentially saying that the stress of Neal’s kooky conspiracy theories stressed Breitbart to death. The mentally ill eat this stuff up.
