  6. “Dad”: did you watch the whole video? They have an instant reply where they freeze the frame. The ball is out of the player’s hands and .1 second shows on the clock.

  10. The displayed clock is not official. Check the backboard behind the player for the red light that signals the end of the game. The red light is on when the clock shows 0.1 seconds. That doesn’t mean the shot was bad, and I’m not going to watch it closely enough to evaluate, but it’s certainly closer than the displayed clock makes it seem.

  12. The fact that he first makes the play to steal the ball then shoots certainly does make it stand out among many other long buzzer beaters.

    The Jerry West link was nice, along with the top 10 plays by Maravich that I then saw.
