A popular hunting shotgun could be banned under one of the bills moving through the state Capitol.
A pump or semi-automatic shotgun is the gun most hunters in Colorado use. It’s a gun state Sen. Greg Brophy, R-Wray, says could be banned under a bill that’s already passed the House and Gov. John Hickenlooper says he’ll sign.
“They’re coming after the standard shotgun,” Brophy told CBS4 Political Specialist Shaun Boyd.
How can you fire it through your front door if it’s banned??
David Gregory interviews Sperling, puts videotape in his face of Obama saying (in a debate) that he didn’t propose the sequester. Gregory says “that’s not accurate.” (Now they tell us!) Sperling is then asked whether the President was right or wrong.
I would be surprised if this wasn’t the case for many in the media, but it is especially funny when such a smug sanctimonious pompous holier-than-thou talking head gets exposed.
Said the girl: “I am usually a very shy person, and now I am more outgoing. I was able to teach those children about certain things like snakes that we have and the turtles that we have… I want to do something toward that, working with children when I get older.”
According to an audiotape of the hearing, Hewett replied: “If you’re bashful I got a snake sitting under my desk here.”
Said Hewett: “I purposely will not have female interns. My intern now is a male. I want to keep it like that. I’ve had female interns in the past that sit in my office all day. I thought it was totally weird and I didn’t want another. As a matter of fact, I went four, maybe six years without having an intern at all because of stuff like that. I have a male intern, the last two I’ve had were male.”
He added: “I don’t get to choose. That’s why I was so leery about staying away from interns. I don’t know what they’re going to give me. They may give me a female, but I don’t want a female intern. That may sound sexist but I really don’t. That way that keeps me good and that keeps everybody else good.”
War on women.
Can you imagine the outcry … Never mind.

UPDATE BY PATTERICO: Here’s the audio. I hate to say this, but . . . he may have been talking about an actual snake, in a very very clueless manner.
After all, she was talking about her participation at a science center, and she specifically mentioned that she shows snakes to children.
It’s still pretty odd, and I wouldn’t want this guy addressing my daughter, but . . . maybe it was innocently intended. Maybe.
” We can argue whether that’s true or not …”. That quote from Biden particularly amused me. He asserted his position as fact, and only later acknowledged that there is obvious disagreement with his baseless assertions. We can argue about whether that’s true, because it is not.
The YouTube video at the link is hysterical, it is a compilation of a few videos I actually linked to here, previously. Good stuff.
Though there are undoubtedly other examples of leftist stupidity out there, these two have megaphones. I cannot figure out which one is actually worse.

What would be Wayne LaPierre’s advice for a woman facing an angry husband who’s pointing a gun at her? What stops a mad good guy with a gun?

What’s on your menu? Just got off the phone with my health care provider asking them to explain why my premium jumped up. No good answer!

Tourè – good men don’t point loaded guns at their wife. Your vapid nonsense plays well on MSNBC, but outside that cesspool, not so much. People with one name, and have proven to be aggressively stupid, should not be trusted with any object sharper than a nerfball.
Brazile might be worse, because someone the MFM uses as a spokesperson for leftist causes, as well as predictably playing the race and gender cards indiscriminately, apparently she does not know that her health care provider has nothing to do with her health insurance premiums, nor why her beloved BarckyCare is jacking up premiums nationwide.
