Menendez And The Young Dominican Girl He Is Following on Twitter
Jim Treacher: Why is Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) following a very young-looking Dominican girl on Twitter? (The post has pictures of the girl with Menendez.)
To answer his question: there could be a number of reasons. It could be innocent: a girl who met the politician through a school program. (I seem to remember Anthony Weiner following a high school girl he met through a school program.)
Or it could be not so innocent. (I seem to remember Anthony Weiner exchanging DMs with that girl and using a phrase he used in sex talk with adult women. And then different stories being told about the number of DMs they had exchanged.)
It seems to me that the final shoe has not yet dropped here.

UPDATE: To be clear: there is no reason to suspect the girl has done anything wrong by posing with Menendez. But there is reason to wonder whether *his* posing with her and following her is creepy.

And apparently is committing Medicare fraud.
And if found guilty would be the third major donor the US Senator’s campaign to go to prison since the November election.

JD kinda sorta made my point. Mark Foley didn’t commit any identifiable crime. He’s gone. Menendez may not ever be prosecuted. The Caribbean’s a pretty big place and whoever traffics in these girls can traffic them out of the Dominican Republic or worse.
Just saying, sometimes ridicule is all you’re left with. I don’t see how you can ridicule someone for committing an offensive act without referencing the offense.
I really don’t see how, out of all the things that you could get P.O.’d about, the joke would be thing that would trip your trigger. And maybe we see it differently, but I saw it aimed at Menendez. As it should be.
