That’s assuming that there will be a 2016.

It’s already past December 21, 2012, and there doesn’t seem to be any end of the world date coming up. And they can’t change the calendar that fast.

Of course maybe you mean that the world will be going on pretty much the way it is now. 100 years ago that wasn’t the case.
