Another thing that might work well for would be use as a media center PC, I’d think. I don’t know for sure if the video/mobo are up to snuff for that job but I’d guess they are. Realize how small it is, about the size of a man’s palm and maybe twice as thick as one.

That's the key thing. You can either add a solid-state hard drive (i.e., a REALLY really BIG thumbdrive) as suggested by luagha above, or you can stick a low-power laptop drive (perhaps even a used one from an old laptop) into it. In either case, it uses not a lot of power and can be stuck in out of the way places rather than being some big honkin' box going "HEY! HEY!!! YEA, YOOOOU!!! Look at me! LOOK. AT. ME!!" I've never had problems with that, but the number of people who want to hide away their PC and make it as invisible as possible is fairly large I've noticed. I'd also presume it might work well in limited-power environments like a cabin in the woods which has batteries loaded by solar panels, a windmill, or a generator, where you want to keep power consumption fairly low for obvious reasons.

You know, I’m pretty sure we pay the same for the product even if we use Pat’s widget. Amazon might give a bit to Pat, but we don’t actually pay anything extra. So we’re not paying the hosting fees. So the premise of the cranky rant from Occupy Rebellion is actually not fact-based.

It is a low-power, small, no-noise computer. Add a solid state drive (SSD) and an operating system, and you get something with no moving parts of any kind that generates very little heat but still computes and does work. But you’ll never have to clean it out or dust it and no moving parts means much less breakdown.

The comments have some things that people have used them for; like making it a music server for the house on the wireless network that uses less power in a day than the electric shaver uses in a minute.

Some people have used devices like this to link together into networked supercomputers. If the individual price is cheap enough, using stuff like this eliminates the problems of power draw and cooling because the power draw is so low.

The girl who impersonated Lennay Kekua apparently never, or almost never, appeared to anyone in person.

The simplest explanation would be she didn’t look at all like the picture of Lennay Kekua.

There does seem to be a real girl involved here, although she may not have been doing her own writing.
