no not at all someday i *might* twitter but i’m locked out of my facebook cause i can’t remember happyfeet’s birfday, which, that’s fine I never used facebook

the thing about twitter is I feel rude cause if someone twitters me I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t twitter back ever cause of how unaesthetic it all gets so quickly

Heh. There was a great PowerPoint, or maybe a video, of Obama throwing out the first pitch at the All Star game, vs. George Bush throwing that pitch at Yankee Stadium after 9/11. It was not pretty.

The dad doesn’t know how to throw, but thinks he does, and he’s passing-on his “skill” to his son.

However, Dad knows how to pick a durable car (the VW,) and so at the very least, he’ll be able to pass down something good (the VW, again) to his son.

There is no basis for that story about Obama. It seems to originate as part of a supposed explanation of why a murder in Chicago was not investigated properly.

The family was sold on the “reason.” That had the effect of either causing them to give up hope, or going after the wrong target, and possibly putting them into the hands of the wrong lawyers.

This is not at all like the stories of Bill Clinton raping, or trying to rape, an occasional woman or two, which are quite solidly based.

I believe the intent of the vw commercial is to show the father intentionally teaching his boy to throw badly so that he does not hit the VW behind him. I.e. the VW is more important to him than his son being able to throw properly. Whatever.
