Video of play in question. The only player in the one yard in front area is the Alabama teammate

Hey dumbasses, if you're going to comment on the "horrid" and "jaw-droppingly bad" calls, do yourselves a favor and hit up the rule book

Rule 6-4-1: "a. It is an interference foul if, before the receiver touches the ball, a Team A player enters the area defined by the width of the receiver’s shoulders and extending one yard in front of him. When in question it is a foul."

Farley was right there in front of him, so it was a foul. What part of that rule don't you stupid fucks understand?

Dana in Pennsylvania,

Thank you for setting me straight. I will now be more deft at distinguishing the Danas.

JD – Agree the calls were not good. If they had no relevance why bring them up?

Because it is the national championship game. And they were bad calls. And if you do t think that a 3 and out and then having a turnover taken away had no effect at all

And his draft stock dropped because he kept getting arrested and kicked off teams.

Yeah, that. And his stock towards the NFL I don't recall ever being high. He had an average arm with good wheels.

Regardless, his transition from Pac10 to SEC does not support your claim.

Congrats, Alabama. I hope the SEC wins every national title from now until the end of time and we structure the playoff system to award National Champ to SEC winner a d the rest can fight it out amongst themselves for the best of the horrible.

norcal got it wrong:

I was guessing you attended aTm or Florida. From Kentucky to southern California, huh? What a transition.

Actually, there are two Danas who comment here: the much prettier Dana lives in Southern California, while I live in Pennsylvania. You get all of the descriptions in my handle to differentiate between us.

That said, I was born in Oakland, but mostly grew up in Kentucky, after a brief stint in Maine.
