Sec Clinton’s Concussion

I am sure that it is just a coincidence that she now claims to be unable to testify. Like last time when it was so very crucial for her to be wherever she was, East Timor or Australia or Greenland. If she is injured, I wish her well in her recovery. I question the timing. ;-)

  1. you can tell she thinks the rules don’t apply to her

it’s insight into what kind of president she’s gonna be

  2. She never went to the hospital. How phony is this?

    Can you say “cover up?”

  3. Hillary has always been a prime candidate for the annual “Baghdad Bob” award; but has been until now outclassed by Potus and Jay Carney.

  4. obviously we cannot trust someone with conclusion type injuries to be president. So I think she is now disqualified

  6. If she didn’t get checked on by a doctor, it may or may not be a concussion. Anyone stupid enough to have an injury like this and not be seen by a physician/faking an injury like this to avoid testifying has no business being leader of the free world anyway. Can she not be subpoenaed?

  7. I have to wash my hair.

  8. Since her testimony would be about as valid as her concussion, what’s the difference?

  9. Apparently this has happened before with Hillary: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6890519/ns/politics/t/hillary-clinton-faints-during-speech-buffalo/#.UNCc8G-5OSo via Daily Beast

Reports are that she did seek treatment. However, given the Petraeus cheating scandal a week before he is to testify and her suddenly having a fainting spell of the sort that happened before is odd. Perhaps it is true. But, I still want Benghazi answers. However, this administration has seemed hellbent on dragging this further until people forget about it.

It could be worst, I suppose. She could claim the concussion has caused her memory loss, of course, of the memories surrounding the Benghazi attack.

  10. Let me just add my voice to those wondering whether Hill is just too fat, clumsy and old for anything but retirement.

  11. If Congress attempts to schedule testimony from Clinton at a daily pace, would the members be arrested for attempted murder, for the multiple accidents that would thus befall Hillary?

  12. I think her concussion resulted from too much wine-tasting in Australia.
Does it do the country any good to have a Falling-down Drunk as SecState?

  13. She is just running out the clock until she hands over the reins to Kerry. Once she is not the Secretary, she can avoid testifying for good.

  14. I question the timing

So does the New York Post, in an editorial.

    Hillary Clinton’s head fake

    In part:

“I have the measles and the mumps
A gash, a rash and purple bumps,”

Clinton’s story beggars belief: While traveling in Europe, she contracted a stomach virus . . . which made her dehydrated . . . which made her faint at home . . . which caused her to fall and hit her head . . . which gave her a nasty concussion.

It could be she really does want to avoid testifying. She’d have to reveal things about other people.

Not so….Congress has the power of the subpoena.

  18. Never mind the 3AM phone call, this woman isn’t answering the phone at 10AM or even at 3PM !

  19. Not true. She is just calling in sick.

  20. Hillary got bonked on the bean,
But a doctor never was seen
    Just leave her alone
    She broke no bone
In her head, now don’t be so mean.

  21. Hillary just needs a long nap,
‘Cause her head got a hard tap
    She works a lot
And at least she did not
Blow chunks in a PM’s lap.

  22. She’ll be using this excuse next.

  23. She didn’t seem to remember much at the Whitewater testimony she gave, after putting it off as long as possible. With a supposed concussion, she definitely won’t be able to remember anything.

I read yesterday she saw 2 female doctors from Georgetown University Hospital. I wonder if they did a CAT scan or MRI? Kind of doubt it.

    PatAZ (ef04a3)

  24. Maybe she has mini-strokes when she’s stressed. TBI is not something to play with.

    htom (412a17)

  25. An inconvenient thought….

How do we know that Hillary, instead of a concussion, has not suffered a stroke?
Her appearance, after all, has really suffered lately.

    askeptic (b8ab92)

  26. She is NOT going to become POTUS in 2016. Got it?

  27. The timing is very suspicious:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – An independent inquiry into the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans on September 11, sharply criticized the State Department for a lack of seasoned security personnel and for relying on untested local militias to protect the compound, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.

The newspaper cited congressional and State Department officials for the report.

The committee investigating the incident, known as an Accountability Review Board and mandated by U.S. law, conducted its study in secret and presented its report to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday.

    DRJ (a83b8b)

  28. They (State) had a contract with Blackwater that they walked on when it turned out that to protect people actually required shooting at their assailants, in Baghdad’s Nisour Square.
What kind of people do we hire at State?
Who do they think they work for?
    (Yeah, I know….rhetorical)
