Pro-Union Activist Threatens the Michigan Governor: ‘We’ll Be at Your Daughter’s Soccer Game’

A speaker at a protest against Michigan’s right-to-work legislation said that Republican governor Rick Snyder will “get no rest” from pro-union activists if Snyder signs the bill into law.

“Just know one thing, Rick Snyder: You sign that bill, you won’t get no rest,” said Rev. Charles Williams II at the Tuesday rally in Lansing, according to Michigan Capitol Confidential. “We’ll meet you on Geddes Road. We’ll be at your daughter’s soccer game. We’ll visit you at your church. We’ll be at your office.”

Governor Snyder lives on Geddes Road with his wife and children, his daughter plays soccer.

Dodged for another few months.

Memorandum for the record (2): Tingles and Sharpton have to pretend words like “he,” “we,” “urban,” Chicago,” and “golf” are racist codewords so that when liberals trash some poor old black guy’s hot dog cart while calling him a “n*gger” and an “Uncle Tom” they can still claim conservatives are worse. Because their dog whistles are blowing all the time.

And only Sharpton and Tingles can hear them.

I believe there is another example of this about a school-district in Contra Costa Co. that was noted in the news from the Bay Area last week.

An AG in Sacramento who was concerned about the taxpayer’s fiscal health would be investigating who sold this financing concept to these districts, and compromised their economic health.
But, we’ve got Kamala Harris instead.

Yep, because the two-faced, phony nature of so many liberals really does illustrate why the phrase “limousine liberalism” applies to much of the left, time and time again. By the way, Barack and Michelle, how are those wonderful private schools that you’ve been sending your daughters to–first in Chicago and now in DC?!

According to OpenSecrets.org, the Russian-born U.S. citizen donated $30,800 to the Democrat National Committee in October 2011. (He’s also donated $5,000 in total directly to Barack Obama’s campaign.)

There’s little question about it: Brin, like Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt, is an Obama supporter.

telegraph.co.uk, December 12: [Google chairman] Mr Schmidt’s comments risk inflaming the row over the amount of tax multinationals pay, after it emerged that Google funnelled $9.8bn (£6.07bn) of revenues from international subsidiaries into Bermuda last year in order to halve its tax bill.

A Californian pressure group called Consumer Watchdog wrote to the Senate’s Finance Committee demanding a hearing on Google’s “global tax avoidance strategies”.

Documents filed last month in the Netherlands show that Britain is Google’s second biggest market generating 11pc of its sales, or $4.1bn last year. But the company paid just £6m in corporation tax. Overall, Google paid a rate of 3.2pc on its overseas earnings, despite generating most of its revenues in high-tax jurdisdictions in Europe.

The company reportedly uses complex tax schemes called the Double Irish and Dutch Sandwich, which take large royalty payments from international subsidiaries and pay tax in low rate regimes. By channelling its revenues through Bermuda, Google avoided $2bn of global income levies last year.
