People are worrying about “qualifications”. The candidate simply needs to articulate positions on issues that people can understand and support; THAT’S IT!

Bill has this ability like no other. If we nominate him, we’d have a 45 state landslide.

He could not be more right about presenting the message.

I’ve tried to find an area on which I could compromise in order to win elections. Can’t find one. Immigration? Nope. Over-spending? Uh-uh. Foreign policy? No way.

We are absolutely right on all these and other vital issues. It must be the way that we’re presenting them.

If someone forms a Draft Whittle committee, sign me up.

Yes, nobody said it was perfect. It was a great achievement despite being run by the government, and its consequent ultimate failure. Now imagine if it had been done properly, by some Delos D Harriman.

What a paranoid fool you are jd, and ironic as well since I’ve rarely read anything of yours that amounts to a real discussion. So you try to ensure no one else can have one either I guess. Well you can’t control what other people think or do no matter how much you wish you could.

SF, have you ever fired a gun, or owned a gun, or taken any kind of gun training/safety class?

If you’re speaking at a podium, and you want to make a point, reaching to your holster, withdrawing the pistol therein, and holding it in your hand (as long as it’s not pointed at anyone – think of raising your right-hand and taking an oath, but having a pistol in it; or Charlton Heston at the NRA Convention when they presented him with that Pennsylvania/Kentucky Rifle, and he held it over his head and proclaimed “From my cold, dead hands!”), that is the image BW is thinking about.

And remember:
Effective gun-control is hitting what you’re aiming at.
