Video: Words Matter

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 12:01 am

This is just brilliant.

It doesn’t do any good for all of us to see it. Go post it on Facebook. Link it on Twitter. Show it to your friends who are on the fence.

It sums up many, many failures of (and lies told by) the Obama administration in less than 14 minutes.

Watch it, link it, embed it, and spread the message.

This president has been a stunning failure.

Like Glenn Reynolds says: “Heeeeey, Rube!”

  7. We suck as a nation, to let this f-up be our president we must question the integrity of our fellow Americans. Fellow Americans are traitors. Lock and Load. Watch your back members of your family are about to stab you.

  10. The clips makes some valid points about Obama saying one thing and doing another, but cuts zero ice with moderates and undecideds because it makes no attempt to compare Obama’s record on walking the walk with Romney’s.
Isn’t Romney’s most glaring weakness that he says one thing, then does another? Isn’t he in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens, gay marriage, state-subsidized health care and efforts to halt global warming? Or is he against all those things he was for during the only time in his life he was given a chance to exercise political power?
If you want to turn moderate and undecided voters, you’re going to have to do some world-class ‘splainin about why we should trust Romney to do what he says he’s going to do, this time…

We all know about health care. What did Romney do on amnesty for illegal aliens, gay marriage and efforts to halt global warming when he was the MA Gov?

  12. “This president has been a stunning failure.”
Actually, that depends on whose eyes you look through.
for those who seek socialism, fascism, communism, a wekening of the US, a “transformational change” to all these things, he has been a stunning success…. and has shown his ability to lie to get things his way and also to have the press cover up his truisms (like bankrupting coal companies and getting govt. mandated healthcare).

  13. This is going to be an almost pure turn-out election. The lines are drawn, Romney’s our guy, warts and all, and we’re up against a ruthless charismatic ideologue with all the entrenched advantages of an incumbent Democrat President surrounded with the trappings of office and advanced and protected by most of the mainstream media establishment. That’s it, it’s us against them and the devil take the hindmost.

Let the Dems spend their resources chasing phantom voters. There may be a few so-called moderates waiting around to be courted, and there still may be a few undecideds who can’t quite make up their minds or who just might be unwilling to reveal their intentions, and it does make sense to make reasonable efforts to reach them. However, their numbers are quite small in comparison to the attention they receive.

It’s almost a universal fairy tale that elections are won and lost on the way moderates and undecideds break for one side or the other. That’s pure poppycock, elections are won because one side’s voters are enthusiastic enough to turn out and vote in greater proportions.

Efforts to appeal to moderates and undecideds should be limited to the reaffirmation of GOP values, not on sugar coating stark differences in order to appear sufficiently warm and fuzzy that unengaged or low-information voters might be seduced to our side. Tell them the truth, treat then like adults and let them come to us of their own accord, then welcome them as equals when they do.

  14. The truth of the matter is that whatever is said by this administration is only accurate if you assume that the meanings of the words used are 180-degrees from what you would find in Webster.

  17. I have a strong hunch that some Super-PAC will air an ad showing the destruction and mayhem in Cairo, and Benghazi, and asking the question:

Is this the foreign-policy that you want for the United States of America?

  19. Alas, I learned this evening that several relatives and acquaintances in (The People’s Republic of) Illinois are planning to vote for…Obama! When asked why, they said: “He’s done a good job. The problems were caused by Bush!”

My God, what planet are these people living on? Is there something in the water in Illinois that causes brain cells to atrophy? (If true, this would explain many things.)
