Fourth-Hand Hearsay: Perry Running
A Houston Chronicle blog says:
Conservative radio talk show host and best-selling author Laura Ingraham got tongues wagging in Texas today when she declared that Rick Perry is running for president in 2012.
Ingraham was doing an interview with conservative Indiana congressman Mike Pence when she let loose with her Perry “scoop.”
According to the conservative blog Ace of Spades HQ, Ingraham revealed that “she knows someone very connected to Perry, and that guy says he’s in.”
If a Houston Chronicle blog says that Ace of Spades says that Laura Ingraham says that some dude says that Rick Perry says he’s running . . . then brother, that’s good enough for me.
Because I want it to be so.
HAHA
I love AOS HQ, but this is a ridiculous basis for speculation. Anyway, I want it to be so as well.
We need more choices. The field is only strong in comparison to the 2008 democrat field, and I do not personally think that was a reasonable standard to compare against.
I don’t even know if I’d vote for Perry. If he can handle debates and a tough press in other states, I think I will.
Dustin (c16eca) — 5/26/2011 @ 12:51 amthat would be one more then
happyfeet (3c92a1) — 5/26/2011 @ 12:52 amPerry is an interesting guy. I think he tries too hard to put distance between himself and Bush, but I can understand why he thinks he needs to do that.
Terrye (9d8507) — 5/26/2011 @ 3:53 amI know, that you know, that I know, that you know, that I know…ad infinatum
Bob Reed (5f2db5) — 5/26/2011 @ 4:32 amPerry can’t be in the race, it isn’t possible. Our cultural, intellectual, and moral masters in MSM haven’t signaled their permission yet.

ropelight (eea158) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:06 amhai feetsPalin/Perry 2012
i think they wont fight over the nom though.
wheeler's cat (c3bd99) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:14 amthey are buds.
And I think Palin might want to be the VP again. Its less work and it would position her for 2016, when it will be easier to beat the new dem candidate.
wheeler's cat (c3bd99) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:16 amyes they are buds but at least it wouldn’t be a surprise like when Fred took everybody’s monies then dropped out and endorsed Meghan’s coward daddy
that was very sick and whorish it was impossible to take Fred seriously ever again, and so nobody never did
happyfeet (3c92a1) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:20 amFeets just can’t quit him the Fred.
Icy Texan (3f01f5) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:34 amMeh. I like Fred. It’s a tough call, but I would vote Romney over Mccain, then and now. I would vote Mccain over many, though, to include Huck and Obama for sure.
It’s sad that it came to that in 2008 and I hope it doesn’t in 2012, but it’s not Fred’s fault that it did. I kinda think it was unfair that people thought Fred didn’t really want to win just because he acted more conventionally than other politicians. Running around the states and explaining your positions on things is basically all I ask of a candidate to convince me he’s serious.
Dustin (c16eca) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:38 amI thought Fred wanted to win I gave him my monies and the very next day he quitted!
And then he endorsed the most least-Fred candidate he could find – princess lindsey-loving a cap n trade whore with a fetish for government regulation. And then he kept sending me emails like he thought he was still relevant. I had to hit delete delete delete delete for many moons before it dawned on him that nobody cared anymore about his stupid phony quitty Fred thinkings.
happyfeet (3c92a1) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:45 amDon’t you think the person at the top of the ticket would want to run for re-election??
Patterico (135ea8) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:46 amhahaha. Sorry. hahahahaha, though.
Dustin (c16eca) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:48 amsorry that was supposed to be *a* princess lindsey-loving cap n trade whore but the words aren’t in the right places
Anyway I don’t have any idea what to expect from a Perry campaign I think he has more credibility then Pawlenty though. Pawlenty is a phony baloney pandering squack I think.
happyfeet (3c92a1) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:49 amMr. P I think the point is if Palin’s on the ticket again there’s no reason to expect different results than last go round. People forget that Palin has the uncanny ability to energize bumble’s base way way way more than bumble and all his dirty socialist media combined.
happyfeet (3c92a1) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:51 amDude! tell us how you really feel 😉
Seriously though, what is a squack?
Bob Reed (5f2db5) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:58 amHerman Cain…
With reservations regarding his lack of foreign policy experience, which, he can solve that by taking John Bolton for VP 🙂
Bob Reed (5f2db5) — 5/26/2011 @ 6:59 amMr. Bob a squack’s kind of a you know one when you see one thing I think – there’s no field guide – mostly they’re the ones what are very very vocal in their panderings without having a record to back any of it up – like when quitty Palin talks about leadership or when cap n trade Pawlenty talks about limited government

ian cormac (72470d) — 5/26/2011 @ 7:05 amIsn’t Perry a big amnesty fan?
Mitch (890cbf) — 5/26/2011 @ 9:23 amPerry has nice immigrations thinkings he balances lots of interests and Texas comes from the injun word for “amigo” did you know that?
It’s a true fact Texans are a very welcoming generous and friendly people.
Remember how they opened their arms to the Katrina refugees? Yup they did and those people are way more welfarey and crimey than your average immigrant legal or illegal.
happyfeet (a55ba0) — 5/26/2011 @ 9:52 amThere might be more truth to the rumor than you think:

Rorschach (c5574d) — 5/26/2011 @ 11:50 amYes Perry has been rather wobbly on the whole immigration thing. He definitely has his faults…
Rorschach (c5574d) — 5/26/2011 @ 11:51 amIf you can find a better candidate than Rick Perry: vote for him!
And also, let me know so I can vote for him too.
Dustin (c16eca) — 5/26/2011 @ 12:01 pmWhy wouldn’t the double-blog hearsay about Ingraham’s anonymous acquaintance be admitted as evidence?
Heck, they manufactured the whole global warming scam, including the Kyoto Treaty potentially costing some nations hundreds of billions or more, on less believable evidence.
