8. Depression medications have known to get the person taking it feeling well enough to kill themselves. Where without is they are to depressed to even kill themselves.

The depression medication information is important not only for the unfortunate reasons above, but also because some people feel “cured” and decide they no longer need them, or they do not like the (severe in many cases)side effects and chose to stop taking them abruptly which can lead to a rebound situation where they become far more depressed than they were before starting them. it can also lead to serious and possibly fatal withdrawal reactions. it is also possible that if she was abducted, she may not have access to her medications.

10. Marizela’s only 18 and possibly away from her home in NJ for the first time for an extended stay, and depression isn’t all that unusual in the Pacific North West. The almost constant rainy and overcast weather makes the coastal region wet, dank, and gloomy. It’s depressing.

    Now, the Puget Sound area is great place for lots of reasons, but go elsewhere if you the like sunshine, there’s just not much of it around.

    If Marizela’s been abducted, then it’s a different story, but if she’s run off, I’d check the cameras at the airport, specifically the ones at the departure gates for Honolulu.

11. An update at Michell Malkin’s site says Marizela had been suffering from depression and taking meds for sometime, and that she made debit card purchases at the Safeway market.

    Since she was afoot and thought to be on her way to the library, the type and volume of her purchases could indicate other possible destinations. I’d like to know what she bought.

    well, i noticed the implication of the anti-depressant medication and the seatle area has a certain reputation related to that, but i figured out of sensitivity to the family, i would bite my tongue on that issue.

    needless to say the situation looks pretty bad, but hopefully our concerns will turn out to be unfounded.

13. Aloha guy, a commenter at Michelle Malkin’s site says screen shots taken from video surveillance at the Safeway in the University District where Marizela was last seen show her walking away from the direction of the campus and towards a residential district.

    If so, it’s now even more imperative to examine Marizela’s list of purchases for clues to her immediate intentions. Malkin is asking for help, but so far possibly important information has not been released.
