Déjà vu: Yep, We have Another “Pimp at Planned Parenthood” Video

Filed under: General — Aaron Worthing @ 11:30 am

[Guest post by Aaron Worthing; if you have tips, please send them here.]

I predicted two things the last time one of these videos dropped.  First, there were more.  And there is at least one more:

And second, I predicted that the first one was the best.  And that is true, too.  While the behavior in this video is bad, the first one is much, much worse.

And of course it ends with the words, “To be continued…”

Exit question: who is the fastest man on Earth?  Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli running in front of a camera to announce an investigation. (Note: that is a joke and a prediction; he hasn’t announced anything yet.)

Hat-tip: Hot air.

  1. Hey, that dude doesn’t look like a pimp!

Call Eric Boehlert and Brad Friedman, stat.

  2. AW…
The old story is that the most dangerous spot in DC is between a TV camera and Chuck Schumer.

  3. 3rd prediction: if efforts to ignore its existence fail, then there will be an investigation into the people who made the video, by members of the press. Their character – their funding – organizations they have belonged to – any possible statements they’ve made in the past as far back as grade school that might seem inflammatory – relatives or friends of these people who might be embarrassing – or relatives or classmates who might be willing to say bad things about them.

    Gesundheit (cfa313)

  4. Sorry, guys. I don’t see what’s wrong in this video.

    Jim (87e69d)

  5. This will never appear within the pages of the NYT!

    AD-RtR/OS! (b8ab92)

  6. Live Action knew what to do; gete several of these, from different locations.

So, did “Kimberly” call the cops? If she did, same as before, she’s exonerated; she can easily claim that she kept it that way so the police get involved when the pimp comes back.

If she didn’t, well would anybody see a pattern here?

How many rogue employees does it take before they’re not rogues anymore, but standard staff?

    The unsurprised Dana (3e4784)

  7. He was not dressed as a pimp, therefore, profit!

    JD (d4bbf1)

  8. “If she didn’t, well would anybody see a pattern here?”

The unsurprised Dana – Of course there would be no pattern, silly. Just as with ACORN, it would represent a large number of low level employees, in separate offices, violating well established policy and the law, or something. In ACORN’s case, many of these low level employees have been convicted or prosecuted for vote or voter registration fraud.

There is absolutely, positively, no way for a corporation to protect itself against such actions by low level employees through training or supervision and it is by no means an indictment of the organization’s culture or the tone of leadership from the top with respect to compliance with laws. Definitely not, no sir.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  9. I think I could write PP’s press releases!

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  10. And second, I predicted that the first one was the best.

You’re right, and I stand corrected.

Regardless, I’m glad to see brave activism on the right. This kind of thing is going to become more and more common.

  12. Just to remind everyone that the “pimp” and Lila may have violated the law:

    Virginia
    Child Abuse and Neglect
Penalties for Failure to Report and False Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect
    False Reporting
    Ann. Code § 63.2-1513(A)

Any person age 14 or older who makes or causes to be made a report of child abuse or neglect that he or she knows to be false shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

Any person age 14 or older who has been previously convicted under this subsection and who is subsequently convicted of making a false report of child abuse or neglect shall be guilty of a Class 6 felony.

  13. It might be worth noting that the worker immediately went to her supervisors after the hoaxers left and alerted them to the potential underage prostitution.

But as St. Ronnie Reagan once said: “facts are stupid things.”

    AJB (3375b6)

  14. That a health care worker at a Planned Parenthood would be offering clear, concise and evidence-based information on testing and treatment of infections, contraception and abortion is kinda the antithesis of shocking, really, because in case Lila missed it, these are the services that sexual and reproductive health clinics provide.

The fact that a health worker would be doing so in a manner that earns the trust of the client is not only normal, but a central ethic of health care and medicine.

The fact that she didn’t say: “Hey traffickers, sit yourselves down and have a cup of coffee while I go call the police,” but instead ended the visit and reported to her supervisors also is exactly the protocol she is supposed to follow.

    Link.

The only “crime” Planned Parenthood is guilty of is providing health care to women deemed “unworthy sluts” by right-wingers.

    AJB (3375b6)

  15. William Yelverton is a cowardly lying dishonest sock puppeting racist hilljack what buggers underage non-consensual goats while pLaying the skin flute and is scared of brown people that can spell and has the morals of an alley cat in heat. That is all. FU

    JD (822109)

  16. AJB, when you put “unworthy sluts” in quotes, were you planning to attribute that quote to anyone in particular, or is your formatting random?

In any case, I’m outrageously outraged about the whole thing.

    carlitos (09dd72)

  17. What exactly are these sluts worth of and where are they?

    Birdbath (8501d4)

  18. Have any of these filmmakers stated their goal? It doesn’t seem to me that these sting operations are going to do much. Pro-abortion folks will write it off as outliers, which likely they are. It seems like it’s designed to appeal to anti-abortion people as they hint that ‘something fishy’ is going on in abortion clinics. Fire up the base.

Really, do we want potentially syphilitic illegal alien 13-year old hookers to be turned away from free clinics?

Just trying to understand the goal; it’s eluding me.

    carlitos (09dd72)

  19. Well, AJB, if the lady at the second clinic called the cops, then as was noted in the first thread, there’s a police report, with a date on it, proving it. Let’s see it.

Note Planned Parenthood’s reply, from the link you gave:

After the encounter, the staff member immediately notified her supervisor, who subsequently notified members of Planned Parenthood’s national security team, who are working with the FBI, which is investigating these visits.

Even if that’s true — and I have my doubts — Planned Parenthood wasn’t reporting a possible case of child sexual slavery, but trying to investigate whether they had been scammed. Licensed health care professionals must report all indicated cases of child abuse to the police; they do not have a choice!

The Dana who wants to see the documentation (132cf8)

  20. No, we don’t want syphilitic illegal alien 13-year old hookers to go without treatment. But we would like “businessmen” to realize business will not go well if their underaged employees are either infecting clients or taken out of employment by social services when they are taken for care.

Yes, sometimes a healthcare professional is in a hard situation, wondering if reporting a situation will simply make things worse. But if one went by that as the usual MO, one would just be feeding into making the situation worse for the individual and all those coming after.

The goal, I imagine, is to expose de facto accomplices to sex slavery of underage children.

I thought the person in the first tape had already been fired, which would have been unnecessary and inappropriate if the proper authroities had been notified. And in this second situation, was the FBI the point of first contact with law enforcement, and why? I suppose sex trafficking of minors might be assumed to involve interstate conspiracy, but it is not immediately clear to me. Dana, after you see the docs let me know what you find out.

And AJB, by your definition I’m likely a “right-winger” and I have taken care of people like this without referring to them as unworthy, let alone more crude language you employ. To provide “workwoman’s comp” care for children like this is to participate in their victimization.

  21. “Just to remind everyone that the “pimp” and Lila may have violated the law:”

Just to remind everyone, Jim is desperately trying to shift attention away from Planned Parenthood and its apparent willingness to aid and abet illegal immigrant child sex slave trafficking.

    Nice try, Jim.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  22. Then “Jim” should be able to document the police report generated as a result of this.

    JD (d4bbf1)

  23. Jim – Do you support illegal immigrant child sex slave trafficking? Why do you object to the videos?

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  24. The goal, I imagine, is to expose de facto accomplices to sex slavery of underage children.

If that’s the primary goal, kudos. I remain skeptical, as child rape is a theme in many conspiracy theories.

    carlitos (09dd72)

  25. And I would also like to see a contemporaneous police report for each of these.

    carlitos (09dd72)

  26. If they were for real, Carlitos, don’t think they would have produced them, even before these videos were released?

    JD (d4bbf1)

  27. Hey JD – I do. I don’t believe that any of these jokers filed a police report. Honestly, I think that these individuals are mostly bad actors, and moreover I don’t think that their organizational culture is in good moral standing, either.

I just resent being manipulated with useless bullshit stories like these, which seems to have the simple goal of ‘manipulate the news cycle and outrage conservatives’ – seems like more of a fund-raising goal than a consciousness-raising one. I could be wrong. Happy to be proven so, in fact.

    carlitos (09dd72)

  28. JD, I don’t have access to police reports, but PP reports that their local affiliates did notify the local police.

    Jim (ad29d8)

  29. I think my response might be stuck in the filter.

    carlitos (09dd72)

  30. In re-reading, my #26 does not read in the way I intended. I was just trying to note that there is not likely a contemporaneous police report.

    JD (d4bbf1)

  31. And I don’t think they were technically aiding and abetting, JD. Nice try.

    Jim (ad29d8)

  32. The Planned Parenthood spokeswoman said that individual clinics called local law enforcement. When the national organization noticed the pattern, she said, they wrote to Holder. She said that there’s been some contact between the group and the FBI but declined to elaborate.

    Jim (ad29d8)

  33. jim

don’t try to do law, you will hurt yourself.

it doesn’t constitute causing a false report. and even if it did, the first amendment would protect them anyway. freedom of the press and all that.

    Aaron Worthing (73a7ea)

  34. “Just trying to understand the goal; it’s eluding me.”

carlitos – Don’t they spell out their goals on their website and in Lila’s first post with the first video?

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  35. Hey daleyrocks,

I don’t see it. “keep the pressure on the abortion industry” doesn’t seem to be a goal to me. (my bold)

Live Action to Launch Major Investigations in 2011 with New Fundraising Campaign

    Contact: Amy Kim, media@liveaction.org, (323) 454-3304

LOS ANGELES–Live Action, the youth-led pro-life group responsible for exposing statutory rape cover-up, racism, and medical misinformation at Planned Parenthood, is preparing to launch several major investigations of the abortion industry next year. A donor fund has awarded Live Action a $125,000 matching gift, and Live Action is now starting a fundraising campaign to match the gift and fund the new investigations.

Since 2007, Rose has led teams of young people undercover into dozens of Planned Parenthood clinics across the country, documenting rampant sexual abuse cover-up, violation of parental consent and notification laws, and medical misinformation at the nation’s largest chain of abortion clinics. Live Action’s investigations have reached a direct audience of tens of millions of Americans, and Live Action was recently featured in the nationally-broadcast CNN documentary, “Right on the Edge.”

In the last year, Live Action’s youth team has also educated hundreds of thousands of college and high school students through educational presentations, social media and the national student magazine, The Advocate.

“Our previous investigations have revealed shocking video evidence against commercialized abortion and prompted legislators and law enforcement to hold Planned Parenthood accountable,” says Rose. “With recent unprecedented pro-life gains in state and local government, now is a critical time for the pro-life movement to keep the pressure on the abortion industry.”

    carlitos (09dd72)

  36. ETA – this was released with the first video. Maybe their goal is to stop the funding.

“This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Planned Parenthood intentionally breaks state and federal laws and covers up the abuse of the young girls it claims to serve,” said Lila Rose, President of Live Action. “Time and time again, Planned Parenthood has sent young girls back into the arms of their abusers. They don’t deserve a dime of the hundreds of millions they receive in federal funding from taxpayers. Congress must cease funding and the Department of Justice should investigate this corrupt organization immediately.”

    — Can they treat you?

    Icy Texan (757364)

  41. And this means what? she was just playing along until they left? Why play along at all?

The ONLY reason to play along is to keep them in the office.

What SHOULD be done in a case like that is to make up an excuse to leave the desk and go somewhere else. You tell a co-worker to call the f**king cops RIGH F**KING NOW. Say “I have an underage prostitute and her pimp at my desk. We need police here now.”

Then you go back to your desk, and you stall like no one has ever stalled before. You keep them in those seats until the cops arrive, because the notion that they have given you real names and addresses is retarded. Best chance to get them in police hands is to keep them there.

At least, that is what people with a working set of ethics would have done.

Hell, it’s even what I would have done.

  43. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand another comment goes into moderation…

    Scott Jacobs (d027b8)

  44. Aaron, let me explain why your comment is so stupid: Several of you have said that PP was required to report this to local authorities as a case of child abuse. So if the information that was given to PP was false (as it apparently was), that means that the false information caused the filing of a false report. Got it?

    Jim (ad29d8)

  45. Maybe “Jim” can point me to where he quoted me as saying they were aiding and abetting anyone. Hint, “Jim”. You cannot, because I did not. Liar.
