Free Advice to Liberal Organizations: If Someone Comes in Claiming to be Trafficking Underage Girls, DON’T HELP THEM

Filed under: General — Aaron Worthing @ 8:26 am

[Guest post by Aaron Worthing; if you have tips, please send them here.]

Update: GMTA. Glenn Reynolds offers remarkably similar advice and asks a relevant question: “Do pimps really come in for advice so often that this doesn’t set off any alarms?”

After James O’Keefe and Breitbart aired videos where O’Keefe went undercover as a pimp trafficking underage girls, I thought to myself, “well, that won’t work ever again.”

Man, was I wrong:

Live action, a conservative, pro-life activist group went into Planned Parenthood and, well the video, albeit edited, speaks for itself.  He tells her that these are underage girls in the sex worker business and that he thinks he caught VD from one of them, but he is not sure which one.  And they continue to help him.

You have to think somewhere the people in charge of Planned Parenthood are beating their heads against their desks as they watch this.  It is stunning, almost painful to watch, and almost hilarious in the sheer “fail!” of it, too.

Now to be fair to Planned Parenthood, there are claims they reported this couple to the police at some point.  And I would like to see the unedited video and transcript.  But seriously, unless the missing piece is, “Ma’am, I am rehearsing for a play I am in, where I play a pimp trying to get help with my business.  Can you read these lines for me”—unless there is a deception that radical, at the very least the woman in this video has indicted herself.  Maybe not criminally, but morally.

And Planned Parenthood should be very careful before they issue any denials.  One of the most brilliant elements of the O’Keefe video is that every time Acorn issued a denial, they issued a new video contradicting it.

Hat tip: Hot Air.

  1. Planned Parenthood was morally indicted many, many years ago.

    Icy Texan (958677)

  2. Haven’t seen the video yet – just the opening frame – but it’s a nice touch, using the Planned Parenthood logo in the transcript of the sting. It’s like anti-branding.

    Brian (6d0317)

  3. It blows my mind that Planned Parenthood isn’t shunned by society the way the KKK is.

I would rather starve under an overpass than work for them.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  4. Go back at read the full TPM article. PP also says that each clinic reported the allegations to the police:

“The Planned Parenthood spokeswoman said that individual clinics called local law enforcement. When the national organization noticed the pattern, she said, they wrote to Holder. She said that there’s been some contact between the group and the FBI but declined to elaborate.”

    Jim (631851)

  5. Hmmm . . . a group that advocates the killing of minority children (albeit, in the womb)?

Tell me again Dustin. What’s the difference between Planned Parenthood and the KKK?

    Icy Texan (958677)

  6. Is there a difference? The KKK was packed with Democrats in its heyday too.

    Jamie (caec7d)

  7. The bad attitude about parents clearly shown in this video is very odd for an organization that has parenthood in its name.

    Amphipolis (e01538)

  8. 3…2…1…Shrieks of just another rogue employee begin.

Funny how so many of these organizations are fully staffed by rogue employees.

  9. I’d like to know which clinic she was referring underage girls to. Was it by any chance in Philadelphia?

    Amphipolis (e01538)

  10. Convicted criminal and dildo boat enthusiast James O’Keefe exposes moral corruption wherever it may exists.

    AJB (3375b6)

  11. AJB, so you didn’t pay any real attention did you? And you had to come here and prove that you did not pay any attention, just in case there was doubt?

    SPQR (26be8b)

  12. Yes, O’Keefe does expose moral and legal corruption. So far not a single one of his allegations has been debunked, no matter how hard his enemies have tried. Nor has he been caught doing anything immoral. The misdemeanor he was convicted of would apply equally to every investigative reporter.

    Milhouse (e7588c)

  13. O’Keefe falsified a badge or ID to gain access to the Senator’s office and to the government office building, Milhouse.

    Jim (631851)

  14. Also, since when do conservatives give a crap about human trafficking victims? They’re usually “illegal” immigrants, right?

Human trafficking victims often deported before they testify

US: Victims of Trafficking Held in ICE Detention

Sex trafficking victims’ lives in visa limbo

If you want to help human trafficking victims, you can start by treating them as people who need help instead of as criminals.

    AJB (3375b6)

  15. Planned Parenthood sometimes screws up but when you for reals need an abortion lots of times they’re the bestest safest and most cost-effective choice.

But it would be better if there was more competition to keep them on their toes.

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  16. AJB seems to think that dildo boat enthusiasm is a bad thing.

    Brian (6d0317)

  17. AJB translation: Squirrel!

    SPQR (26be8b)

  18. AJB

sure, the way to stop the victims of human traffic is NOT to stop the trafficking of humans. Okay.

    Aaron Worthing (e7d72e)

  19. “well, that won’t work ever again.”

Never misunderestimate the stupidity of the Left.

    AD-RtR/OS! (b8ab92)

  20. This is astounding. No wonder there have been 50 million abortions since 1973.

    DRJ (fdd243)

  21. Planned Parenthood sometimes screws up but when you for reals need an abortion lots of times they’re the bestest safest and most cost-effective choice.

How many high school girls who get knocked up need abortions in time to fit into their prom dresses?

    Michael Ejercito (64388b)

  22. There goes Aaron Worthing again, with his simplistic bourgeois logic.

It’s reminiscent of Chief Justice Roberts, the black-robed lunkhead who opined: “The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.”

    Brian (6d0317)

  23. I have no idea really Mr. Ejercito but what I’ve noticed is that Planned Parenthood gets a really hard time on the internets but they’re providing a service people apparently want and a lot of the criticism I read doesn’t seem constructive in spirit or tone.

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  24. AJB’s convenient “victims” of human trafficking are conspirators in a fraud against the American People and Government, and are therefore, per se, criminals – not victims.

    AD-RtR/OS! (b8ab92)

  25. Mr. Worthing’s v sage advice excepted of course.

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  26. happyfeet: Planned Parenthood sometimes screws up?

I do agree that this problem recurs, but I think it is a good bit beyond a screw-up.

Minimize, blame shift, distract, repeat. Same old avoidance pattern. There will be no change here today.

    Amphipolis (e01538)

  27. Tell me again Dustin. What’s the difference between Planned Parenthood and the KKK?

    Comment by Icy Texan —

That’s easy. The KKK didn’t kill nearly as many black people.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  28. But it would be better if there was more competition to keep them on their toes.

    Comment by happyfeet

Taking this seriously, ask yourself: why don’t bright, hard working, upstanding people start abortion clinics? Why is this field full of moral degenerates?

Because abortion is evil. It is a service in great demand, but it’s evil. The kind of person who is going to sell it, instead of donuts or eyeglasses, sucks. Simple as that.

You’re also going to find that strip club owners and the guys who sell spam advertising are not on the same moral level as Latin professors and veterinarians.

So your problem is not just one of quantity, but fundamental quality. You’re not going to run into any reputable chop shops or abortionists. Ever.

  30. The NFL is cracking down on underage prostitution at the Superbowl (there is? During Halftime?)

But seriously, a guy from Hawaii who went to Miami last year to pimp a teenager got only 20 years – with his appendage still attached (My wife offered to do it if I failed in the task)

20 years, out in five for sex slavery of children

how the hell did that happen..

You can get life for kidnapping and abusing a child but only 20 years for slavery sex exploitation?

OK, then there ought to be an actual police report, in Perth Amboy, NJ, or perhaps with the FBI, dated the 13th, 14th, maybe even as late as the 17th of January of this year. If it’s there, then the woman in the film is exonerated: she just played along to get more information, maybe even help the police in setting up a sting to catch this pimp.

    If it’s not there . . . .

There are only two possibilities here, and Panned Plarenthood’s defense is extremely simple: show us the police reports, and they are in the clear.

Which is why I stated that such a police report would have to be dated soon after the tape was made.

The tape is dated Thursday, 13 January 2011; I suggested that the 17th would be the last possible date, only because there was a weekend in that time frame.

  45. I was referring to the former, but the latter is quite apropos as well.

  46. BTW, it looks like Rose and O’Keefe may have committed a misdemeanor in New York:

    New York
    Child Abuse and Neglect
Penalties for Failure to Report and False Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect
    False Reporting
    Penal Law § 240.50(4)

A person is guilty of falsely reporting an incident in the third degree when, knowing the information reported, conveyed, or circulated to be false or baseless, he or she reports, by word or action, an alleged occurrence or condition of child abuse or maltreatment that did not in fact occur or exist to:

The statewide central register of child abuse and maltreatment

Any person required to report cases of suspected child abuse or maltreatment, knowing that the person is required to report such cases, and with the intent that such an alleged occurrence be reported to the statewide central register.

Falsely reporting an incident in the third degree is a Class A misdemeanor.

    Jim (631851)

  47. Looks like it may also be a misdemeanor in two of the other states that were involved:

    Arizona
    False Reporting
    Rev. Stat. § 13-3620.01

A person acting with malice who knowingly and intentionally makes a false report of child abuse or neglect, or a person acting with malice who coerces another person to make a false report of child abuse or neglect, is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

A person who knowingly and intentionally makes a false report that another person made a false report is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

    Virginia
    Child Abuse and Neglect
Penalties for Failure to Report and False Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect
    False Reporting
    Ann. Code § 63.2-1513(A)

Any person age 14 or older who makes or causes to be made a report of child abuse or neglect that he or she knows to be false shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

Any person age 14 or older who has been previously convicted under this subsection and who is subsequently convicted of making a false report of child abuse or neglect shall be guilty of a Class 6 felony.

Trucks, buses, you name it were in the ditch. Somehow I made it. I feel for the guys driving that stretch tonight.

    BT (74cbec)

  58. I drove it this afternoon, BT. It was not pleasant, and it is getting way worse. It should be impassable by midnight, if we get the snow they are calling for. Portions of 75 were reported to have been closed overnight. Thank Allah for all of this beautiful algore, and that ice that is coming with it, again.

  60. Having been through a 22 – inch snow back in ’99, I already know that my car will be buried on a sidestreet, due to the snow and related humongous drifts left after Streets and San does their thing. However, still better than attempting to dig my entire alley out instead, which nearly killed me and my neighbors back then. What I’d give for a snowblower. At least we won’t have to watch Daley turn red in the face and fulminate about his awesomeness – he gone in less than three months.

Planned Parenthood has been stung before by Lila Rose hiding rape of an underage girl. And why the vitriol? Have you proved the “Wingnuts” are liars? Do you have any proof they have “extreme political views” which is the definition of a Wingnut.

    Tanny O'Haley (12193c)

  63. Dmac–I imagine all the mayoral hopefuls are quite glad this storm is hitting on Richie Daley’s watch. As you know, blizzards have not been kind to Chicago mayors’ reputations or re-election hopes in the past.

Last time we heard about reports and the like it turned out it was the left lying. And as soon as their lies were debunked, they just lied again.

This video is disturbing, and I need some hard evidence to overcome the impression I get.

Snow in Chicago started, stopped, and it’s starting again. And it’s windy! One of my window screens blew off and I couldn’t run downstairs fast enough to catch it before it disappeared down the street. Let the fun begin.

You are right, there should be no opportunity for them to lie. The reports, the names of the officers and their testimony that they took the reports, in other words, there should be full disclosure.

    Tanny O'Haley (12193c)

  70. To tell the truth, while this thing is indeed a monster, the endless screeching on the local TV is getting out of hand. Yes, it’s a huge blizzard; yes, it’s going to inconvenience everyone for awhile; yes, it’s going to get bitterly cold shortly after it’s stopped snowing. And guess what? You live in Chicago! There still hasn’t been anything like the late 70’s winters here: we had record snowfall and record cold temps, and neither let up for the entire winter seasons. Still remember trying to start my Pinto in order to get to school each morning – ever try to de – ice your carburetor with a lighter?

  71. LiveAction has released the full videos: Part I and Part II.

Apparently 6 Planned Parenthood clinics were targeted, “including clinics in Washington, D.C., Indiana, New York, Virginia and one in Tucson and one in Scottsdale.” It sounds like the Arizona clinics filed police reports but told police the visits were a hoax.

but they also link a piece from the dirty socialist Associated Press what had this bit from the always creep Lila Rose…

Rose has said her goal is to unnerve Planned Parenthood employees and eventually put them out of business.

“We will work to de-fund them in every state wherever it is possible, to de-license them and to expose them,” she told the conservative Value Voters Summit in October.

“The other part of it, too, is to create controversy within the organization, keep them on their toes,” she said. “We need to help them feel that fear.”

No, she just believes that abortion is murder. It takes the life of a baby. She also seems to believe that Planned Parenthood is a corrupt organization which should be exposed and de-funded. I don’t see the problem with that or how that makes her “creepy” or not “particularly bright”. PP sounds like it decided to contact Holder’s Department of Social Justice after a pattern became evident, the week after the visits stopped.

If PP did nothing wrong, why did they contact the authorities? If they did do something wrong, are they trying to shift blame to the videographers and show what great warriors against illegal immigrant sex slavery they are right after doling out all that great advice to pimps? Just like the ACORN videos, does not compute or pass the smell test.

Phyllis Kinsler, chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey, added that the clinic employee’s behaviour, as portrayed on the video, “violates PPCNJ policies, as well as our core values of protecting the welfare of minors and complying with the law, and appropriate action is being taken.”

  118. Since EricPW cannot defend his charges of Palin being a fiscal liberal, he has decided to go obsessively all in on her changes to Alaska’s oil severance taxes. The fact that is back under debate in Alaska is not news. EricPW unquestioning follows the oil company line on the debate. From EricPW’s August 2008 article:

“In Alaska, the willingness of Republicans to tax the oil industry reflects unusual political developments.

Last year, as part of a major federal corruption investigation, an oil-services executive — former VECO Chairman Bill Allen — pleaded guilty to bribing some state legislators as he sought to limit the size of an oil-tax increase approved in 2006.

In the fall primary of 2006, Palin upset Republican incumbent Gov. Frank Murkowski, whom she criticized for giving too much of a break to the oil industry.

Then last year, Palin introduced a graduated tax pegged to increased oil prices. The state Legislature modified her proposal to increase the state’s take even further.

    Production falling

The bill’s proponents — a coalition of Democrats and maverick Republicans — argued that oil production was declining in Alaska, and that the lower tax rate under previous governors had done little to spur additional investment in the state’s oil industry.

Critics say the companies, who have lobbied to open the federal Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to exploration, have lagged badly in developing already available fields on state lands. Some estimates indicate those fields may contain billions of barrels of oil, mostly heavy crude that’s difficult to extract.

They argue that the state — which owns most of the land around Prudhoe Bay, North America’s largest oil field — needs to grab its fair share of proceeds from the declining output there.

“You don’t get to grow another oil barrel,” said French, the Anchorage lawmaker. “You sell that barrel once, and it’s gone forever.”

The Alaska tax is imposed on the net profit earned on each barrel of oil pumped from state-owned land, after deducting costs for production and transportation, which are currently estimated at just under $25 a barrel.

The tax is set at its highest rate in Prudhoe Bay, where the state takes 25 percent of the net profit of a barrel when its price is at or below $52.

The percentage then escalates as oil prices rise over that benchmark. Alaska gets about $49 of a $120 barrel, not counting other fees.

ConocoPhillips said that in total, once royalty payments and other taxes are added in, the state captures about 75 percent of the value of a barrel.

An accounting benefit eases the sting for oil companies. They get a huge deduction on their state taxes when calculating their federal taxes.

    Companies pull back

Still, oil-industry officials contend the tax already has affected investment decisions.

BP Alaska, which runs Prudhoe Bay, said earlier this year that it had delayed the development in the western region of the North Slope as a result of the tax. ConocoPhillips cited the same reason for scrapping a $300 million refinery project.

“What the tax has done is take away all the upside,” said Doug Suttles, president of BP Alaska. The U.K.-based oil company paid more than $500 million in taxes to Alaska last quarter — far more than it earned in profits from Alaskan oil, according to Suttles.

Investment dollars are flowing instead to places that have a better return, like the massive deep-water projects offshore in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, where ConocoPhillips said the government take equals less than 50 percent of the barrel.

In July, BP announced it would begin developing the Liberty oil field, a $1.5 billion project expected to yield 100 million barrels of oil, located on federal lands in Alaska. If the project had been located in state lands on the North Slope, “I don’t think we’d have been able to make that investment,” Suttles said.

Alaska state officials say they still do plenty to court the oil industry, such as giving small, independent producers breaks on royalty payments. And the state tax bill includes a generous provision for deducting investments in new fields or other capital costs.

“We think that, hopefully, [the new tax system] will encourage firms to get on the Slope and produce more oil and gas,” said state petroleum economist Cherie Nienhuis.

    Prices spur global trend

Alaska’s decision to raise taxes is part of a global trend. Emboldened by high energy prices and the industry’s difficulty in finding giant new oil fields, oil-rich nations from Venezuela to Russia have been raising taxes and royalty payments in recent years.

Even the market-friendly United Kingdom, home to oil giants BP and Royal Dutch Shell, recently has sought to capture a bigger share of revenue from companies operating in the North Sea.

Despite the oil companies’ complaints, many say that as they vie for access to new oil and gas deposits, they have little choice but to accept deals they once might have spurned.

Many Alaskans are happy to have newfound leverage over oil companies in what they see as the state’s last big boom. But others see it as a tricky issue for the state.”

But I disagree about firing this woman at once. I just don’t know enough. When I first saw the Shirod video I thought she should be fired. Now I think firing her was a stupid mistake by her boss (Obama).

For instance, if this had been a real criminal I would *want* PP to humor them so that they’ll come back and call the police so that the police will be ready when they do.

If this were real you’d have a situation where underage girls are sick and need medical attention. She needs to get them in to see a doctor. She also needs to alert the authorities about what is happening so that they can arrest the pimp.

But I don’t know. I sure would like to know more, and see the total, unedited, video. I don’t really trust advocacy groups to present information in a fair and impartial way.

  157. Planned Parenthood fired the person in the video.

“We were profoundly shocked when we viewed the videotape released [Tuesday] morning, which depicted an employee of one of our health centers behaving in a repugnant manner that is inconsistent with our standards of care and is completely unacceptable,” Phyllis Kinsler, executive director of Planned Parenthood of Central Jersey, said in a statement released at 10:20 p.m, NJ.com reports.

“We have a zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior, and the employee in the video was immediately suspended from her duties [Tuesday] morning and was terminated [Tuesday] evening,” Kinsler said. “We are fully committed to delivering high-quality reproductive health care to the women of our communities, complying with all laws, and upholding the highest ethical standards.”

UPDATE: PLANNED PARENTHOOD EMPLOYEE FIRED OVER FAKE PIMP VID

  166. I just think the whole dealio is tacky and weird … and it doesn’t even make sense.

By helping Planned Parenthood stay on their toes Lila helps buttress support for safe legal abortion cause her outrageous over the top tacky behaviour always makes her stingy stingy stings look like freakish aberrant outliers and she just ends up preaching to her fetus-obsessed base.

    happyfeet (ab5779)

  167. Happyfeet, it makes it look like Planned Parenthood is extreme.

Remember, from Lila’s point of view, she is fighting a murderer. Her plan is extreme only if you don’t grant this point. People who think abortion is murder and don’t do anything about it probably make less sense.

I’m not understanding your POV that this helps create support for abortion of any kind. Don’t you wonder how many little girls have been pressured by men to go to Planned Parenthood?

If I were her, I would have toned down the stings, and progressively ramped them up. I’d release the tamest, and release more over a few weeks, as the entire project got more attention.

But she just went for broke, and so what? Here’s a bright young lady peacefully fighting something she finds horrible. She’s using free speech to maximum effect. I don’t see any reason to pretend she’s crazy.

If Panned Plarenthood fired Amy Woodruff, the Perth Amboy manager caught in the video, then it is obvious that the lovely Miss Woodruff did not report the incident to either the police, the FBI or the Panned Plarenthood main office. This action, by itself, tells you that the video is genuine.

The Dana with some common sense (3e4784)

  172. As Tanny linked: Perth Amboy has been fired, Planned Parenthood calls its behavior shocking, and I’m not hearing the names of these police officers that Perth supposedly contacted.

An Attorney General is hoping to investigate the criminal behavior of Planned Parenthood.

And Planned Parenthood is complaining that the videos were too “cynical”. Like I care.

I’m amused that the left saw this person show no character whatsoever, and still their self interested word for truth regarding police reports.

Lila and O’Keefe are merely pioneers. This kind of journalism is going to become far more common. The MSM embargoes serious journalism against ACORN or Planned Parenthood, and certainly won’t start their own, so the people are empowering themselves.

How long before we get a video of an undercover guy catching overt election fraud by democrats?

my guess is that typically the worst one is the first one.

    Aaron Worthing (e7d72e)

  184. dustin

but then again, that wasn’t entirely the case with acorn. i mean arguably it was worse when that dude started asking what the girl’s prices were to O’Keefe. you know, out of academic interest, right?

    Aaron Worthing (e7d72e)

  185. We are already seeing some places make it illegal to video police and government officials without permission. The growth of this kind of sting will probably result in laws to protect all politicians from hidden camera recording. Interesting when the public can’t record their own paid employees corruption.

    Machinist (74634b)

  186. Mr. Feets – I thought you were just misogynisticly objecting to Lila’s outfit even though she did not appear in the latest video.

What is the appropriate going to kill a fetus outfit these days?

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  187. oh yes I was talking about her past history of loony behaviour

    she’s so zany

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  188. Where is Yelverton now that he has been proven to have been wrong wrong wrong and a liar in his comments from yesterday? Where are yu coward?

    JD (d4bbf1)

  189. Not exactly loony behavior there, happyfeet. Her point is that abortion is an ugly thing, and to make it public would show people how horrible it is.

A little like vegans publicizing videos from slaughterhouses.

It’s an uncomfortable topic to think about, but it’s not loony.

    Some chump (4c6c0c)

  190. “she’s so zany”

Mr. Feets – That you support law breaking by government tit sucking nonprofit organizations in our socialist banana republic paradise and condemn those who expose it is a good thing to know.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  191. wha??? I already said I think Lila does abortion a favor with her antics.

But people should follow the rules I think and Planned Parenthood needs to straighten up and fly right by golly.

And yes I think the family planning budget should be zeroed out – which is different than what Pence wants.

Title X of the Public Health Service Act provides federal funding for family planning and related health services. Pence’s bill would not cut any of that funding – just prohibit the expenditure of federal monies from Title X to pay for abortions.*

It’s mystifying and pathetic that this bill doesn’t cut spending – what does this Pence douchebag think the 2010 elections were about? It wasn’t a referendum on abortion it was a referendum on spending.

It’s like this dorkus wasn’t even paying attention.

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  192. How did we get from the topic of the post to Pence?

    Some chump (4c6c0c)

  193. “But people should follow the rules I think and Planned Parenthood needs to straighten up and fly right by golly.”

Mr. Feets – Wha? Lila Rose slut person pointing this out has a mental disorder is crazy? Wha?

What was your actual point, a fashion criticism?

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  194. Well if the money isn’t spent for that purpose, that’s good right.

    narciso (e888ae)

  195. Mr. daley my argument was of an ad hominem variety and it was two-pronged: it consisted of a somewhat but not entirely baseless attack on Lila Rose’s mental faculties as well as a more generalized characterization of her as a dimbulb wackadoodle.

That is my argument and absolutely no evidence has been adduced so far to sway my thinkings in this matter in the slightest.

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  196. two-pronged: it consisted of a somewhat but not entirely baseless attack on Lila Rose’s mental faculties as well as a more generalized characterization of her as a dimbulb wackadoodle.

How are those two different prongs?

It’s clear you don’t like Lila Rose (happyfeet not liking a conservative woman quel suprise!). But she’s not stupid, and she’s not crazy, despite your impression that she is.

    Some chump (4c6c0c)

  198. evidence please

Yes, feets, please provide proof of Lila Rose’s mental problems and why you think she is a “dimbulb wackadoodle”. So far you haven’t been persuasive. Just because you think so, doesn’t count.

  200. OK, so the lovely Miss Woodruff is now eligible to collect unemployment compensation, and Live Action claims to have more such videos; wonder who will be joining Miss Woodruff on the unemployment line?

My question is: just how many “rogue” employees does Planned Parenthood have to have before it ceases being rogue employees and starts being indicative of corporate policy?

I would have thought, naif that I am, that after the first set of tapes, the corporate bosses would have made it clear: if someone presents himself as a pimp, and talks about underaged girls, this could well be a set-up, and you should follow the letter of the law precisely, as well as notifying both police (in case it’s not a fake) and corporate.

Of course, being naïve, I’d have thought that corporate would have made it clear: you follow the letter of the law in every situation. Is it possible, just possible, that this wasn’t really an aberration, a rogue employee, but Miss Woodruff was actually within corporate policy?

    The naïve Dana (3e4784)

  201. So happyfeet, your opinions require no evidence (I noticed that you seem to almost understand the term “misogynist” …) but others do.

    SPQR (26be8b)

  202. “It blows my mind that Planned Parenthood isn’t shunned by society the way the KKK is.”

Half of society LIKES the idea of being able to cut their young offspring into bloody ribbons when it’s convenient for them to do so, just like half of society not long ago thought that owning human slaves was a great idea.

With all due respect, I don’t know why it surprises you all that much.

As for the video itself, wow. What horrific evil, cheerfully delivered, even advising how these young underage prostitutes can keep on giving blow jobs, or attracting business for the other underage sex slaves.

Her advice to them about not saying anything Planned Parenthood would be required to report to was a nice added touch. Hey, I just thought of something. Do you think she heard anything she might be legally required to report?

As the office manager, her calling her own, slightly more moral (slightly — she was still assisting with the whole mass abortion thing) nurse practitioner a c*unt and saying everyone hates her to the nurse practitioner’s future patients was a nice touch.

This, people, is what evil looks like: Often very smiling and pleasant.

And tolerated, even lauded, in society.

    Christoph (8ec277)

  203. yes Mr. daley hey my Chicago friend sends along this cool picture of the snowflake attack

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  204. That is the remarkable thing, Dana, makes me think they just don’t care about the rules, or the law.

    narciso (e888ae)

  205. Lila just on CNN, PP spokesweasel coming up next.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  206. PP refused to appear with Lila.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  207. Mr. Feets – I am hiding indoors from the attacking snowflakes today.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  208. This is astounding. No wonder there have been 50 million abortions since 1973.

    Comment by DRJ — 2/1/2011 @ 10:17 am

    Hear, hear.

While everything in this video is is horrific in the extreme, and shows Planned Parenthood’s local office manager aiding in and furthering in criminal child sex prostitution and slavery, DRJ puts her finger squarely in the truly massive evil at its core.

Further, seeing the evil — the pleasant, smiling evil — in this video, she quite rightly points out that it is people like this (and millions of others), who caused this … I was about to say, tragedy.

No, slaughter. Of innocents. To use an anology, SOME of the casualties in WW2, whether combatant, civilian, or concentration camp inmate probably were guilty of something or other in their lives, something big even in some cases.

Not one of the 50 million victims of abortion ever was guilty of anything. (Only their parents, and their doctors, and their “office managers” … and the society that did not stop this.)

    Christoph (8ec277)

  209. ok but be vigilant they work as a team

    happyfeet (a55ba0)

  210. Dana,

For years Lila Rose has been presenting herself to be a 13 year old who is pregnant by her 21 year old boy friend to Planned Parenthood. I do not believe that PP has every reported the boyfriend for rape. Actually, they have told Lila Rose how to hide the information so her boyfriend won’t get in trouble.

Yet the MSM doesn’t seem to want to report any of the stings. What is wrong with these people who seem to think that it is okay for a 21 year old to have sex with a 13 year old? Teachers who do this get jail time.

    Tanny O'Haley (12193c)

  211. “ok but be vigilant they work as a team”

If I close the curtain, they can’t see me.

Plus, if I turn up the heat really high, I figure my survival chances go up even if a flurry of them sneaks in.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  212. In response to CNN reporter question about other LiveAction office visits PP said they had not fired anyone else yet, that this was the only video they had seen.

Like ACORN, they have no clue what is going on. If they are making a big deal about alerting the authorities, they should have interviewed everyone involved at this point.

    Pass the popcorn.

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  213. Creepy, zany, demented, loony, dimbulb wackadoodle. Nice to see happyfeet trot out the thesaurus to describe this one little girl just trying to make her way in the world.

  214. I question the timing of this story, but you have to wonder what the guy was thinking. This was a pro-life priest who told Sean Hannity that he wouldn’t give him communion because Hannity thinks birth control is ok. Hannity replied “let he who is without sin.” Ironic.

That probably wouldn’t work. I’d guess that, if such actually were corporate policy, it would be done with a wink and a nod. I’d bet Scott Jacobs’ last euro that there is a Planned Parenthood Policy Manual which states, clearly and unambiguously, that all Planned Parenthood offices will follow the law to the letter.

    The realistic Dana (3e4784)

    savoirfaire (21f6a6)

  223. btw, for the record, there has been another video. this time in virginia. i have a new thread on it.

    Aaron Worthing (e7d72e)

  224. “At least we can all agree that victims of trafficking should be able to get access to free or low cost abortion services, on demand and without apology.”

savoirfaire – So do you recommend turning the victims of trafficking back over to their pimps without apology after they have obtained their free or low cost STD or reproductive health services?

    daleyrocks (479a30)

  225. I recommend they get access to green cards and social services. This way they can escape their oppression. This sort of compassion likely won’t fly, and some people might just be satisfied with shutting down planned parenthood. You know, cuz we’re concerned for the trafficking victims.
