  1. You got me. Heh. Info from this leak, though, I’ve heard, is very effective in dealing with Fred Phelps protests.

And since we’re on the subject, love RA’s stuff (abbrev’d so as not to spoil it). Sue me.

  2. Hmmm… were WE just rickrolled? Or did the Consul General rickroll her correspondent?

Nah. I can see why this would be top secret, since I’d be embarrassed to send it too. But I’ve never met a bureaucrat with a sense of humor.

So it must be a joke on us.

    …Heh.

Sigh… Humor is so complicated these days. I can’t tell the difference between The Onion and USA Today. Everytime I read the news I can’t be sure if it’s a story about a spoof – someone spoofing the journalist – or a real story that will shortly be turned into a Japanese cartoon and a YouTube spoof.

And where does the word “spoof” come from anyway?

  3. I wonder if BHO has ever been rick-rolled.

  5. Mere Christianity was okay, but The Screwtape Letters was a lot better.

I don’t know what this guy’s problem is, other than just having to criticize Palin (not unlike the right’s knee-jerk need to criticize Obama), but Narnia is a terrific series, for children or adults.

  6. Ha! But, I think I like the “literal” version better.

  7. Did y’all see the way my Barry looked at me when he was ditching that presser for Pres Clinton? Sigghh…he’s so dreamy when he’s getting ready for a party…

  8. oops, wrong thread. Right time, wrong place?

  9. Ya got me! But I never mind getting fooled, it always makes me smile. A lot of people don’t know this, but in China this is called a ‘Lick-Loll!’

  10. WikiLeaks … what could go wrong ?

Pakistani newspapers carried stunning claims yesterday about India, the country’s long-time foe, wrongly sourced to the WikiLeaks data dump.

  11. Ha ha, but time matters and some have little to waste on useless, informationless links, hence less traffic here.
